Keeping in mind that links don't appear as hyperlinks when on Level 1: You need to put your image files on a photo storage site like: http://photobucket.com/ http://www.shutterfly.com/ http://flickr.com/ http://tinypic.com/ http://imageshack.us/ You will be provided with a link for use in forums, emails, etc. Copy the link (beginning with http://) and paste it with your question or answer. If with a question, be sure to paste the link in the space provided for more information. Also keep in mind that if you're posting photos of yourself (or anyone else) to ask people what they think, that's considered a chat violation and often gets reported.

As someone who regularly uses a lot of pictures in her Quora answers, I can answer this one for you.There are two ways in which you can do it.A Googled picture : If you are using a picture off the internet, then just copy paste the link of the picture on to your Quora answer. Command (or control) + C, and C + Paste. Also when you’re googling for a picture of something, click on ‘View image’ and then copy paste, that link.Laptop image : If the image is already on your laptop, or phone then just look towards your immediate top right. There is a ‘Photo’ icon, right next to the ‘link’ icon. You click on it, and it takes you to your laptop. You can choose whatever image you like, and voila! It gets added to your Quora answer.

Why is yahoo answers not letting me upload a picture to my question?
The past weeks uploading from your computer saved files is nonfunctional, no one can upload images from their saved files no matter what level. No one knows why for sure they stopped it or if it was intentional, but it sure cuts down on images we do not need to see especially all the obscene images from Tumblr. You can upload the image to Flickr, they will most times allow you to have the image be seen.
