How do I convert .mp3 to .avi AND add a picture or slideshow to the video?
I want to upload some of my music to youtube, and I can convert from MP3 to video formats, but the problem I'm having is I need some sort of imagery for youtube to accept it. I've noticed music videos which display still images while a song's playing, and I'd love to know how to do this. Is there any free software that I can use?

How long does it take to learn programming?
Now don't give me that 10 years crap because i see people as old as 16 freaking breezing through websites and getting the latest playboy issue for free. I need to knwo at what point can i write a program because if it takes 10 years to write a program i may aswell stop now. currently i am learning python via MIT's freecourseware on Youtube its a beginners class, will i be able to write my own program after going through that course?? also if someone experienced could give me a time spent learning vs the difficulty of program estimate . like if i spent 3 months learning what kind of program can i write??? and if you are interested i am 18 and my IQ is 119 i know its not that great but i think i am smart enough to be a programmer because i like to solve problems and i hear thats the big thing in programming.

How do I remove hardcoded subtitles from a video file using VLC?
Hello friend,I am surprised you are getting nswers to remove the subtitles.But sorry my friend i have to tell you it is not possible,All possible solutions given are bullshit.If the Subtitles are Hardcoded then it will not go away,it stays there,hardcoded is like being burned to the movie print.I have heard of people cutting off the harhcoded portion of the movie but i havent tried that,i advise you not to because truthfully it sounds pretty lame.The best solution to this is to run another subtitle over the hardcoded one,the new one will have a different layer background which will cover up the hardcoded and make it easy to read the new one,Or you can position the new subtitle where ever you please.[all these options are in the open in vlc when you add the new subtitles go to subtitle option in preferences and choose.]All these are still lame but still if you are that desperate,i know i hve been,just be more careful with harcoded next time.
