How Do I Become President Of The United States

"I want to become President of the United States?"?

First, I'd start by trying to get into one of the military academies, becoming an officer, you will after all, be the Commander in Chief as President. There's no reason you couldn't get a law degree. I'd also get either minor (or at least take some classes) in Political Science. As far as when do you get married? Get married when you fall in love. Let the Government pay for college, and enter politics after you retire from the military. You still have at least 20 years until you can even run for President, it's unlikely that anybody will be President until at least around 45 years old, so you have plenty of time to accomplish a lot. Just stay out of trouble, don't do anything stupid....DRUGS, and just have fun. You are 16. It's great that you have an interest in politics. Listen to Sean Hannity. I've learned a lot from him. Maybe you could e-mail him and he would most certainly have some great advice for you.

What does it take to become President of the United States?

This answer is so obvious I thought about not posting it but I will.To become president one must meet the following constitutional requirements:be a natural-born citizen of the United States;be at least thirty-five years old;have been a permanent resident in the United States for at least fourteen years.Under the Twenty-second Amendment no person can be elected president more than twice. The amendment also specifies that if any eligible person serves as president or acting president for more than two years of a term for which some other eligible person was elected president, the former can only be elected president once. Scholars disagree whether anyone no longer eligible to be elected president could be elected vice president, pursuant to the qualifications set out under the Twelfth Amendment.Under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, no person who swore an oath to support the Constitution, and later rebelled against the United States, can become president. However, this disqualification can be lifted by a two-thirds vote of each house of Congress. President of the United States

Can I become President of the United States?

That depends on three things.1: Are you a natural born citizen of the United States? The term is not entirely defined, but generally applies to anyone born of US parent or parents, or anyone born on US soil. If you had to apply for citizenship, you do not qualify.2: Are you greater than the age of 35? If so, then you could be president. If not, you'll have to wait.3: Have you resided in the United States for at least 14 years? It's a little vague if this means consecutive, or recently, but there is a 14 year requirement to living within the boundary of the United States. There may be a question if this applies to US territories or Puerto Rico, as they are not states, but are under the jurisdiction of the United States. If you answered yes to all three questions, Congratulations! You are constitutionally qualified to become president of the United States! If you answered “maybe" to any of the questions, please consult your nearest supreme court for further clarification. If you answered “no" to any question, then, I'm sorry, you cannot become president of the United States.Of course, the process of becoming president may be entirely disqualifying for you, but considering who we currently have as president, I can safely say at this point “ANYONE" can become president of the U.S..

Nobody is going to do your homework for you.

Can a Hindu become the President of the United States?

To be president of US you need to be born in the US - the definition is complex as John McCain was born on the Panama Canal Zone and he qualified - I think he was born on a US base as his father was an admiral and it would be unfair to have kids of service members no the considered full citizensif you ask by religion, can a Hindu (or Jew, or Muslim, or Mormon) - then yes they can - but not if they were born in IndiaIt is worth nothing that all Presidents have been Christian of some kind, when Kennedy a catholic became president that was considered quite an event

I want to become president of the United States one day. What should I do to prepare? I'm 25 years old.

Tricky.First off and it bears repeating. President of the United States is a hard job. Hard as it gets. So hard that 4 years of it will turn your black hair white.Secondly, don't do it for the money. It does not pay well.Third, you have to accept that half the people in America are going to loudly hate your guts. From a practical point of view get a good education. Graduate level, possibly in Law since a lot of what the president does deals with the law. Minor in political science and history. Read a lot. Daily newspaper.Take Debate, study rhetoric. Most of what you do is argue what people should or shouldn't do.Keep excellent records, especially of your finances.Avoid associating with stupid people. Be careful who you fool around with. Someday everyone you ever did anything foolish or reckless with will wind up being interviewed. When that happens, admit everything. Nothing good comes from hiding your mistakes, especially if those mistakes have voices of their own.Consider what you believe in. Research a topic thoroughly before taking a position. When you so, stick to it unless you are proven wrong. Never lie. Never say you never said that. Be willing to compromise. If your reason to become president is to help as many people as possible, be sure that's the way to do it. Many jobs have more direct impact on the populace then president.Remember people. Keep a record of who you talk to everyday. An investigator may one day ask you who you had lunch with on April 14th, 30 years ago, a Thursday, and it might be important you know.Exercise and stay fit. For endurance, not strength. Cardio, running. Marathons if not triathlons. Some of your work days might be 72 hours long and involve life and death decisions and passing out from exhaustion in the middle of it would look bad in the history books.A term in the military is a good idea. Not too long. While career military officers have served as president they usually did so after a long and dangerous career and then did poorly in office because the skills of command they learn in the military do not translate to the skill of compromise a president needs.Embrace humility and arrogance. Humility will make people like you. And you have to have a lot of arrogance to think you deserve to be the most powerful person in the world.Marry well. Have a person in your life you can be with and not be the president.

Who was the only person to become president of the United States without receiving a single popular vote.?

Lyndon B. Johnson, Gerald Ford, Truman...and more actually, any president that was assassinated and had his vice president take over, essentially they were made president without a vote ever being cast, however i don't know if you would count these because to some degree they were on the ballot to become the vice president, this could be researched anywhere relatively easy, such as google...etc, just look up assassinated presidents and you can find out who succeeded them.
hope i helped you out
