Hi Carin,The risk depends on what you plan on doing to generate traffic to the “new” page. We do struggle with this since Facebook does allow duplicate Page names and it makes it hard for your audience to find you with the search window inside Facebook!Also, there are Page name restrictions which appear very arbitrary! For examples, we were not allowed to use the word “official” in a page name in an attempt to distinguish the new Page from the previous one’s created by the employee’s of the SAME company!You might want to explore a MERG the Pages after you create the new one. But Merge itself is not a trivial process and it could take weeks or longer.Bottom line is that with Facebook Page, there is a decent amount of wild-wild West going on and it’s un-predictable and less corporate since it’s tied to people’s personal login! In fact, despite repeated attempts to have old page names removed, Facebook Page team has ignored these requests. In some cases, we even had the owners of these duplicate pates submit a request to Facebook to have the Page deleted (they no longer had access to the Page); but still the requests for page delete are ignored.So, deleting the old page names will be a struggle too and that’s why I would advise caution and research before you start creating pages.Since we are advertising for these newly created Pages, the audience would find them through these ads. But it’s less than ideal since the one’s with duplicate name still exist and it’s impossible to tell how many people will use the Search Window of Facebook and give up after seeing 3 or 4 pages with the SAME name.My final recommendation is for you to open a ticket with Advertising Support and see what they recommend for your specific case. My mom changed my facebook password?
A few weeks ago, my mom told me that she had downloaded a keylogger onto the computer. I had gone to the pool for a few hours that day, and when I did, she took my laptop, went to the keylogger, found my facebook password and logged in. Then, she changed my password and wouldn't tell it to me. I got so, so mad; if she'd have asked I would have just given my password to her. Well, a few weeks later, I was really getting tired of her having to always log in for me, because she isn't always home. So I went to my email and changed the password, wrote it on a piece of paper, and gave it to her. She got so mad, she started yelling, and now she's gonna delete my Facebook, the only way I get to communicate to my friends. She said that she never wanted to talk to me again, and now refers to me as "that one." Is she overreacting or is it my fault? BTW I'm 14

ok so i have a facebook im not allowed to but i do my mom found out about it and somehow changed the password to that and my email ive tried numorous times to create another one but she has my sister like stalking me. so i cant get on my facebook or email. its not like ima post anything "inapropriet" im old enough to have one and with school just getting out i need to keep up with friends i have a phone but my stupid mom took that away too ive also asked her to give me both back but she said no she just doesnt trust me. and i find that very irritating because i babysit all the time. anyways how can i change my password without my email or phone?

A person may not change that much, since the person would still be in their teen years from 15 to 18, but at 18 you are an adult and at 15 you are a minor.

Tony: The first time I tried it did the little loading thing (where there is like 3 boxes that move, sorry that was a bad description) then it stopped while I was waiting. I didn't receive an email, then I tried again with the same results. I restarted my computer and the same thing happened. Thanks for trying to help btw.
My mom keeps looking through my facebook, but it's getting annoying and I feel like i have no privacy?
my mom has somehow gaining accessing to my facebook. she can read everything, like if someone writes something on my wall she'll ask me all about it, but when she can't see it? and she tells me she has access to my other friends' account. like she tells me everything- which is good, but it's pissing me off.. i asked her how is she viewing this, but she told me "i'll tell you when you graduate from highschool" (3 more years!). i honestly think an IT guy gave her my password, and she's just going on through my account. here's 2 examples - *this one shows she read my inbox* -you know that status thing where you send someone a number through inbox, and they make a status about you? well i did that ONCE,, and it was to this girl i don't really know. and she said "123098- i don't really know you, but everytime i've talked to you, you've just made me happier. oh and you're really pretty :) xx" (i copied and pasted), and my mom recite that, even the number! *this one proves that shes been going through my facebook* -she told me she saw my friend's profile picture on "her" homepage, and it was a little box with about 10 other people (my friends) who have gotten new profile pictures. now.none of my friends have her on fb. and shes really pissing me off, cause i have nothing explicit or innaportiate on my facebook, i have just crazy jokes w/ my friends and i use some slang like "wtf or stfu" and shes constantly asking me about it. how do i make her stop? atm, my facebook is deactivated,, but where i live its a big social thing, so its kind of like you have to have it. what do i do? i have an idea where i put my facebook on a different email, and i create a new facebook with my old email. so yeah please help!:)
