How do I delete ALL emails from before a specific date without individually selecting every email?
Not a problem. First you want to make sure you're using the Sort by Date view. Scroll down until you see the first email you want to delete Put a check mark in the box to the left of this email. Scroll down to the last email you want to delete. Hold down the Shift key and then put a check mark in the box to the left of the last email you want to delete. All the emails will be highlighted. This may take some time, depending on the number of emails you selected. Click on the delete button.
How can I get to my oldest/first email without scrolling forever so I can delete from the oldest one?
I have too many emails in my list. I want to delete some from the end of the list (or say the oldest) without scrolling forever to get to the end. Original Yahoo had a box near the top of the page that actually said END. Why isn't there one there now. It sure would help.
Deleting old emails by date range?
The only was if to start on the last page, or the point that you want to delete from, and if they are all on the same page, at the bottom of the page click Check all then delete. You don't have to check each one unless they are mixed getting to the newer ones. Then just uncheck the good ones before you click delete.

Rahul Jaswal is absolutely right. You will need to check the box directly above the column of individual email boxes to select all of the emails on a given page for deletion (please see annotated screenshot) You will need to do this for each page of emails you wish to delete. Hope that helps!
