If 8 people can do the work in 30 days. how many days do 15 workers take to complete the same work?

We will use Chain Rule to solve this question.According to Chain Rule, the work efficiency remains constant.[math]\dfrac {W}{WF \times T} [/math]= ConstantHere W = Work Done, WF = Workforce, T = Time.Let the number of days needed be 'x' days.Applying Chain Rule,[math]\dfrac {W}{8 \times 30} = \dfrac {W}{15 \times x} [/math]Or, x = 16 Days (Answer)

If a secretary can type 960 words in 6 minutes, how many words can she type in 1 hour?

This question has no place on Quora, but I was bored so here’s a little arithmetic lesson.Divide 960 by 6. You get 160 words per minute. You asked for an hour. So times 160 by 60 (the number of minutes in an hour).Virtually any device that can access Quora has access to a calculator. Just punch in 160 * 60 and there you go.Want to try something fun? If you have 7 apples and someone takes 4 from you, you get the same number of apples as the number of minutes I just wasted on this answer.

A can do a piece of work in 25 days and B can finish it in 20 days. They work together for 5 days and then A goes away. In how many days will B finish the remaining work?

In one day A can complete 1/25 of the work. And.In one day B can complete 1/20 of the work.Together they can complete 1/25+ 1/20 work in one day.Hence in 5 days they can complete 5/25 + 5/20 work. ie = 9/20 work.Remaining work is 1–9/20 work= 11/20 workHence B can complete the remaining 11/20 work in 11/20 / 1/20=11 days.

Is it safe to take Benadryl with Allegra? What would happen if you take them together?

In general it is safe to take Allegra (fexofenadine) and Benedryl (diphenhydramine) together. Although they are both antihistamines, they are from different subtypes of antihistamines. Allegra is non-sedating (in most people) and is more often used to control symptoms of seasonal environmental allergies. Benedryl can also be used that way but it causes more sleepiness, which is why people often choose Allegra or Claritin (loratidine) for daytime allergy control. Benedryl is also more effective for more severe allergic reactions (food allergies or beestings for example). For people whose allergic symptoms get worse at night or who have an acute reaction on top of an environmental allergy (say mosquito bites on top of “hay fever”), adding Benedryl to Allegra is perfectly reasonable. Just be aware that even though Allegra does not usually cause sleepiness, it may exacerbate the sleepiness caused by the Benedryl.

Can my extremely high blood pressure 240/160 be to blame for irregular menstrual cycle and hemrroids?

I am a Medical Student and take it from me, It is very possible that your Blood pressure is that high and yes it can lead to hemorrhoids. The other people answering don't know what the hell they are talking about. You desperately need to be on some sort of blood pressure lowering medication, like a Thiazide diuretic, a Beta Blocker or something. These medications are extremely cheap in generic forms these days. Right now you are at an extremely high risk for stroke and or Heart attack within the next 10-20 years. Check to see if there are any free clinics in your area. I can't stress enough how important it is that you get in as soon as possible!!!! When it comes to these things no one is extra tough because our arteries are pretty much all the same. At this point it's your youth that is keeping you going, but blood vessels will wear out and break at that high of pressure. I know it seems like can't afford life right now, but that also means you can't afford to smoke. I don't want to sound like I'm preaching, but smoking just makes everything worse, and it's an expensive habit. But for your and your kids sake please get in to a clinic and see if they can put you on a some Blood Pressure lowering medications. The side affects will make you feel tired and drowsy for about a month, but then you're body will get used to the new healthier pressures. Good luck and for Gods sake quite smoking.
