Let us start.First, you will need to ensure that your car has an Android Car stereo. Now you need an Android mobile phone.Once you have an Android mobile phone, go to the play store and you will need to download an app. In order to download any app from the play store, you need a Gmail Id, that can be easily made within minutes.Search for the app named, "Android Auto" and select it to download it on your mobile phone. NOw once you have this app downloaded in your mobile phone, you need one more app named as "Car Stream". Download this app.You may need to grant permission to these apps and you are ready to go. Now let us connect the mobile phone to the car stereo.Connect the Android mobile phone with the Android car stereo with the Aux cable. It will take a few seconds and you will the app coming up at the car screen. Now his means that your mobile phone is connected with the car stereo. Go to that app and you can see the Youtube icon on the screen, simply click to that icon and select the video you need to play on the car screen. You must have a good internet connection that will enable the app to connect to the stereo for youtube videos. Now since this app is not approved by Google, so you may get restrictions in features, I suggest keeping the original version of the app.Few of my friends who updated the app, they had issues running Android Auto, so simple method removes the updated version, and stick to the old version.Stereo Authority

Is there a way to get Spotify on your car radio?

There are a number of ways, most of them centred around playing music from your iPhone/Android. This makes sense because that is where your offline music sits, and where you already have a data connection. The following is an exhaustive list of options to do so: Cable: most cars allow audio-in. Buy the proper cable and you're off. Simple and dependable.Bluetooth: Spotify is very well compatible with most Bluetooth car radios. Sometimes needlessly complicated on the car's side, but one playing it's great. Song titles/artist names are usually displayed in the dashboard and play/pause/next/previous usually work.Android Auto and Apple Carplay: Spotify has built compatibility with both of these so if you buy one of the latest aftermarket car radios that support these systems then you get the royal treatment with full remote control of the Spotify client on your phone, including display of album art in the dashboard.Ford Appsync: Spotify has also built compatibility with Ford Appsync. Early versions require a cable connection but they have moved to bluetooth support, at least for Android. This works very nicely including voice commands.Besides these options there is one outlier option which is:The Asteroid car radio by Parrot which has a native Spotify client. With that client you can play Spotify even when you don't have your phone with you, using a data connection over a dongle or offline stored music. That system has excellent voice recognition. Volvo has previously adopted this Parrot system under the name Sensus Connect Touch, which may be available as an aftermarket accessory for your car. If you have a Volvo then you might want to ask your dealer.

How can you listen to internet radio in your car?

How can I listen to internet radio in the car?Install an Internet radio app on your smart phone and make sure you have a good data plan for your phone that includes lots of gigabytes (if you are a heavy listener). Connect your phone to your existing car audio system with either a USB cable or via Bluetooth. Log in to the streaming service on your phone, crank the car audio volume and rock on. Many car audio systems will mute the music if you receive a cell phone call and allow you to talk to the caller hands-free.I play Sirius satellite radio over my phone to my car’s built in Bluetooth system this way. Sirius also has a streaming radio service that plays over the Internet. I have an unlimited phone data plan so I use this method all the time in my car that lacks a satellite radio system. My truck has an actual Sirius satellite receiver so I don’t need to use my cell phone in that vehicle.

Car radio installation where the VSS goes to the radio wire?. VSS CAN-TX CAN-RX?

VSS means "vehicle speed sensor". It sounds like your head unit does not have a VSS input. This is typically only found on head units that have a navigation system built in, and use the vehicle speed information to supplement the GPS location data--not all navigation head units use the VSS. If your head unit doesn't have a VSS input, then tape off the wire from the PAC harness and leave it disconnected.
