If email account is hacked can I get my saved emails/contacts back.?
I received an email from Yahoo, or at least I thought it was. It stated that they were verifying all Yahoo email addresses and if you want your account to stay active to click on the link to verify. When I clicked on the link it took my to the Yahoo mail login and I logged in again. That was yesterday ... This morning I started getting calls from all my contacts saying they'd received an email with HELP in the subject line. The note stated that me and my wife were on a vacation in the Phillipines and that we'd been mugged and that all our cash and cards were taken. That we need financial assistance to pay for our hotel and that our plane was leaving in a couple hours. I was out of town and didn't have internet access so when I got home I logged into my email and changed the password (I was told to do that). All of my folders with saved emails were gone and all of my contacts. Is there anyway to get that back?? My email address is rmapstutts@yahoo.com Thanks, Richard Stutts

Actually, i believe what has happened to you is not the fact that "Someone" hacked your account. But somehow when you click certain links while you are browsing the internet, that server collects all of your information and then automatically begins spamming in your name. Its kinda like the spam links on facebook. If you do not log out of you email everytime you are done checking it, and you just close that particular browser, you are still logged in. Then when you click a spam link, it takes all of your saved info. Very important to delete cookies, saved passwords and clear cache on your computer as much as possible to prevent this type of thing from happening. But, anytime it does happen you just change your password and it will immediately stop. If you are still concerned about it being an actual person who has done this, then first thing's first. Log on to your account and change your security questions, and update all of your info and change your password. Also a good idea to add your cell number to the account so if someone from a new server logs on you will get a text message telling you of the log in. Good luck! Hope this helps.

This question wasn't very clear. I will try to answer the best possible way.In Gmail , you can search all your contacts from To and CC fields . You can select an email id of the contact to send an email. In addition, you can point the cursor on the email id and click on "Contact Info" to see the complete contact details from Gmail.Secondly, Click on the downward arrow next to the mail and you can launch your Google Contacts App, if you would like to see all your contacts from Gmail.You can go back to mail by clicking the downward arrow and select "Mail" . This is the fastest way to toggle between Mail and Contacts.

If you read the Failure notice it will tell you. Other wise I can ramble on all day about why you got a failure notice. 1. Temporary Suspended Account. From either Sender or receiver. 2. Cancelled account. 3. Full email box. 4. Your on a botnet with a virus and the server returned it because your ISP has stopped letting you send email until the PC is cleaned of botnet virus. 5. Wrong email address or domain of recipients. 6. Too many email addresses on one sending. 7. One address needs to be corrected before any on a multiple list can be sent. 8. The message took too long and can`t find address so one of the servers gave up.
If I delete email account from Outlook, will I lose my contacts in my address book?
Not if the contacts are within the Outlook file. So, if you go to Outlook, then click on contacts at the bottom of the left hand window, then those contacts are in Outlook’s PST or OST file and will not go away. You can test this, too.To test, unplug the network cable on the PC or turn off or disable the wireless. Open Outlook and go into the contacts folder. Look around and realize all those are kept locally on your pc. Plug the network back in or turn the wireless back on.Enjoy.
