There is no link to go back that is what yahoo has failed to let users know. But there are two ways to go back that I know of see below to see what I did and it did work.If your talking going back to all new mail that's not an option it's gone read below and go back to classic mail I did it see how I did below.

There are large numbers of users on here with similar issues. Two ways to back to the other mail that I know of.The new beta mail they say it's 2X faster it's really 10X slower I had it I lost more than half my mail folders.I did a live chat session w/Yahoo told them if I can't go back I will leave yahoo they switched back. Two ways to switch back you can go & do a like chat session with a Yahoo customer service rep/agent like I did.To do this go here.Click on the link below to do your live chat.

And the other way is if you reduce your screen down just not sure how far down. But if you reduce it down far enough you will see an option to switch back. This will not switch you back to the all new mail it will switch you back to the Yahoo classic mail.Or you can just try emailing Yahoo with your issues that will take some time 3-4 days if your lucky.

How do I get my OLD YAHOO! Mail back?

There is NO LINK available that will take you back to Classic/Original Yahoo Mail and continue to work PERMANENTLY. Here is a solution that DOES work and works very well. I have multiple Yahoo accounts and I have used this method with each of them with great success.....

There is a way that just involves a few mouse clicks. It sounds like you have Beta Mail (double yuck) and want to go back to the ORIGINAL Yahoo Mail. I have found a way to do just that

For Internet Explorer: Go to Tools/Internet Options/Security, go to "custom level”....scroll down to "Active Scripting". Click on “Disable”. Hit OK. Refresh the page while you are still signed into Yahoo Mail to switch back.

Be sure to go back in the same way and “Enable” Active Scripting again...(and NO it won't revert to the Beta versions of Yahoo Mail)

For Safari: Open Settings, Click on Preferences, Click Security, Uncheck “Enable Java” and then Enable JavaScript

For Firefox: Open Tools, Options, Content, Click “Disable JavaScript”. Hit f5 to refresh the page while you are still in Yahoo Mail to switch back.

In Options, click “Permanent” to stay in the original version. Do not click the “One Time” option. Voila! You now have Original Yahoo Mail back.

How do I get my old Yahoo email inbox back. I don't like this new one at all.?

To go back to YAHOO! MAIL CLASSIC...

Turn off Javascript - you'll then be asked if you want to return to Mail Classic, click "yes".

If you don't know how to turn off Javascript...

For SAFARI: Open SETTINGS>click PREFERENCES>>click SECURITY>>Uncheck ENABLE JAVA and ENABLE JAVASCRIPT

IMPORTANT:Remember to RE-ENABLE JAVA and JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work.

For IE: Open TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS >> SECURITY. In security click "CUSTOM LEVEL" -> disable active scripting in the scripting section.

IMPORTANT:Remember to turn JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work.

For FIREFOX: Open TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> CONTENT, click on "DISABLE JAVASCRIPT". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in Yahoo! email in order to switch back... In the options, click (PERMANENT) to switch back to YAHOO! Classic. DO NOT click the "ONE TIME ONLY" option.

IMPORTANT: Turn JAVASCRIPT back ON once you have your "CLASSIC" account back.

PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE IF THIS SOLUTION WORKS BY CLICKING BEST ANSWER..THANKS

How do I get my old email page back?

Depends on ?what your "old" email page was.
The "All New Mail" which was the one between Classic and Beta no longer exists.
It was eliminated and replaced with the new Beta version.

Classic will remain an option for those of us who don't want to (or can't) use the Beta version---even tho Yahoo has removed the link to go back to it.

Try this bit of trickery to get back to Classic.
Just lower the page "resolution" to the point where it won't support the Beta version and you will be asked if you want to switch to Classic as the "default" --(NOT the "one time only")
(start>control panel>"appearances and themes" >display>settings>>lower it and click OK).
You "may" be required to restart your computer.

THEN-----Once you've gone back to and changed your mail page back to Classic---- go back to the control panel and return the page resolution to normal, (so things will continue to work smoothly.

How do I get my old yahoo mail back I hate the new one. It just gives the time something was sent not the dat

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOqId

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

I agree with your evaluation. If using Thunderbird or some other client is not working to POP3 your emails to disk…I’ve used Gmail’s account import tool to drag all emails from Yahoo into Gmail for many clients - probably over 50 times. It uses POP3. If Yahoo has made some change not allowing POP3, I hadn’t heard of it.Check emails from other accountsIf you recently switched to Gmail, you can transfer your old emails from your other account.Open Gmail. In the top right, click Settings Settings.Click the Accounts and Import tab.In the second section, click Import mail and contacts.Follow the steps on the screen.Click Start import. To give you time to tell your friends about your new Gmail address, we'll forward messages sent to your other account for 30 days.Stop importing emailsOpen the Gmail account you've been importing to.In the top right, click Settings Settings.Click the Accounts and Import tab.In the "Check mail from other accounts" section, click delete next to the account you want to stop getting emails from.

Once the messages are deleted from Yahoo there is no way to retrieve them. The only exception might be a court order which would have the ability for Yahoo to go to their backup tapes to find a message, but even that is not guaranteed. There are many reasons why Yahoo deletes messages older than 1 year:Back when Yahoo! Mail was new mail quotas were small. It was very easy for people to fill their mailbox and complain that they missed an important message because their mailbox was full. With larger mail quotas and more people using email. The challenge is that you may have a legal request to retrieve a message if you might have it. When the age limit is small (e.g. 90 days) then the likely hood that you have a message is low. Finally, Yahoo!’s spam system has historically been sub-optimal. So most user mailboxes are inactive and slowing filling with Spam and that ends up being the largest driver of cost for all of the mail infrastructure. So by having a low threshold for data retention you can keep costs more in line.

How can I get back into my old e-mail address?

Hi,
Sorry, it is just part of the glitch in Yahoo!'s new format.
Thousands are having many different problems with their e-mail.
This applies to almost all areas of mail (including signing in, composing, receiving, sending, attachments, photos, etc.), original and beta mail, messenger and search problems, for the last few weeks.
Yahoo! is wrapping up a few remaining compatibility issues between Yahoo! Mail Beta (beta testing lasts for at least 6 months!!!) and the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
1. You will have less problems with original mail if you sign in via Messenger! Go to preferences, general, then check box: Automatically sign me in when I click a Yahoo! link in Messenger.
2. Or if you don't have Yahoo Messenger:
Beta wouldn't let me in so I went to beta help and it said to click on my toolbar mail icon. So I did and it worked!
3. Or if you don't have beta mail:
http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/ can be used to sign into Yahoo!, then put yahoo back into the address bar and hit go. It will take you back to Yahoo! and you can open mail normally. Otherwise, you can open mail in wap, but it is blind. I had to go through wap each time I logged in.
4. BETA means TESTING!!!
So, it seems we have to stop using these two programs (if you installed them) or try to work around them until they finish wrapping things up. Your IE6 is still installed, so you just have to go to: Start, settings/control panel, add/remove programs and delete IE7. For Beta mail you only have to use the switch back option located in your mail inbox and where you sign in by clicking on: Are you having trouble?. You can keep trying them periodically!
I hope this helps you.

Yahoo says,If any of your emails have been deleted or gone missing in the last 7 days, you can submit a restore request and we’ll do everything we can to try to recover your lost messages.Yahoo gives a link for restore old emails from : http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/restore.htmlSource : https://forums.yahoo.net/t5/Send...Restore requests can't be canceled.Restorations aren't always successful.Messages can only be restored if lost or deleted in the last 7 days.Successfully recovered messages are added back to the same folder they were in during the time frame you pick to restore to.
