How Do I Get Out Of My Head

How can I get a thing out of my head?

Simple Ans - stop thinking about it.How to do it- This is how I do it. 1. I write. A poem or a shairi or say article. (That assures me, I've shared it with someone. Be it a paper. Plus it you badger people with your problem they'll get irritated. But when you show them the poem. They understand it and appreciate. That makes me feel good)2. I put on fan on full speed, and then put it off, and stare it until it comes to halt. That some how, slows down and then halt to chain of thoughts. 3. Add pun. Laugh at it.4. Always remember, a controlled mind is your best friend. And uncontrolled mind your enemy. 5. I see beautiful things around. That makes me happy. Why to do it: (ie. control thoughts)(Because when you think you attach yourself to it, then you want it or develop desire, which may not fulfill, and make you furious, anger acts as a film or illusion to your reasons and logics and reduces power of discrimination.  Which is creates problems. Wiles of senses make you do stuff you are not supposed to. )

How do I get a song out of my head?

I read about this once in an article about the scientific reason we get songs stuck in our heads. It said that the brain does not like things that are incomplete. Our natural inclination is to make sure one thing is finished before we start on another. Try to sing the song all the way through. Use a lyric video on YouTube if you need to. Do this a few times and that should take care of it.

How do I take an image out of my head?

the harder you try to hide something or ignore it the more energy you give it, emotionally, which of course make it easier to stay floating in consciousness. the only way to sink an image or idea is to divert your attention to something else. the more you pay attention to other things the less energy you give whatever you wish to avoid.

How to get a sad song out of my head?

So I just watched a movie called "My Name is Sarah" from 2007 about a girl who falls in love with a guy she meets at an AA meeting. Anyways, the movie had a lot of sad songs in it and I have like 2 of them stuck in my head. Thinking of these songs make me cry and feel emotional. They just hit that "spot" in me. How do I get them outta my head? I have been listening to upbeat songs and stuff that I like listening to but they're still there! Anyone have advice on how to kick them outta my head? Thanks!

Why can't I get this word out of my head?

What do you mean stuck in your mind---like a line from a song?
Is there some sentecne or context that you heard/saw oranges in? Try going back to that instance and immersing your mind in the memory of it for a little while. Your brain likes closure, which is why if you have a line of a song stuck in your head, it helps to listen to the song again or another song, to try to remove the line from your mind.
Or perhaps with the orange you can envision a scenario that will unstick your mind: perhaps imagine walking through an orange orchard, inhaling the scent of oranges, seeing their bright roundess, feeling the breeze on your skin, seeing the green of the leaves and trees, feeling the plump ripeness of the oranges, feeling the slight roughness of its skin against the skin of your hand.
Imagine yourself cutting into the orange, feeling the juice slide down your hands, and you take a bite from it. Imagine the taste, smell, texture, feeling. It feels cold, juicy, tastes delicious, etc.

Have a little imaginary scenario to get your mind away fromt thinking of the oranges, by thinking of the oranges, haha sounds weird.
let me know if it works. Im curious!

How could I, as an introvert, get out of my head?

I grew up shy and I was very hesitant before talking to people, answering the phone etc. I took a lot of time before making friends. Basically, small talk was not my thing at all. I was really awkward and kept thinking of new topics to start or what to say and get embarrassed. I constantly thought what others were thinking about me or if they were getting bored.Let me tell you, while it’s okay to be an introvert, you will have a lot of trouble as an adult especially if the profession you choose requires you to socialize and talk to people (marketing, public relations etc.).There are many ways you can get better at communication and get out of your head.First of all, make an effort to socialize. It will be tough at first but soon you will ease out and start having fun. This way you will stop overthinking and speak out more. Make an effort to go up to random strangers and ask questions (don’t harass them, be genuine). Make sure you get your point across and don’t let anyone bring you down.Secondly, make sure that you realize that it’s not your job to impress anybody if you are socializing in general and not for your job. you don’t have to keep coming up with topics and stuff just so that you can have a conversation. It’s as much their job to keep the flow going as yours.Thirdly, get your self esteem up. Just because you fucked up a word, said something at the wrong time or something doesn’t make you a fool. Nobody gives a shit. Trust me, they don’t. Everyone makes mistakes. The more you think about it, the more you are gonna get inside your shell. You don’t wanna do that. You wanna get out.Once you start enjoying conversations, it will be bliss.I hope I helped. Cheers!

How can I get something out of my head?

Something gets stuck into your head because you either talk/think or discuss about it more often than it is supposed to be. This leads to that "something" to take a particular place for quite sometime.Donot talk or think about that thing. Cut it off from your life completely. Any think which would remotely connect you to that 'something', shunt it down. Delete all physical memories, indulge yourself in other things which might be important to you, hang out with your friends, live your life. Remember, its the 1 chance which you will get to live this life, so live it to the fullest.
