How Do I Get Over Depression Read Description.

I am depressed, help me? Read the description.

Well where to start with.Dear whoeverWho is getting across this paragraph I want you to know that everyone is struggling, the difference and the only difference is that some are better at hiding their problems or they have mastered the technique of dealing with the stress. Life is nothing but struggle. Have you heard of the song -the climb by miley cyrus. As per the lines of the song - its not about the end or beginning its about what is coming in between and how better you are becoming after crossing that particular hurdle.Find your hobbies, learn to love yourself, love who you are, help others, love your friends, family. In one simple sentence - celebrate yourself.Keep yourself happy-afterall you matter my friend. You are important. Things will turn your way soon. Fake it till you make it.Based on my experience - Kindly do not depend on others for your happiness. People are selfish(atleast some are), they leave you when you need them the most. Therefore make yourself the only reason for your own happiness. If this works - I am glad. If not, take a day off visit an orphanage and spot the difference that how lucky you are, embrace the oppurtunities and facilities you've been provided with.Boost your confidence and come fight for your place in this very world.

I'm depressed and cutting myself 13 :/ **?

Do you have any other family or friends you can stay with? you shouldn't be living in such a hostile environment. Its not ok to hit your kids or emotionally abuse them either. Shes controlling you ny saying that shell turn herself in and you need to get away from that. I feel bad for you and i know its hard. You probably feel really depressed and fell like its your fault too at times. Talk to family or friends and get out. I know that's your mom and dad but you cant just be abused like that. All families yell and get angry but if they are truly abusive...

How do I know if I am getting depressed? (Please read the description)

I'm in more or less the same situation, and I have to tell you: If you're not doing anything for fun, then you're doing things wrong.Even if you're following your ambition in the most informationally rigorous course and lifestyle, if you don't do anything to amuse yourself and wind down some days then you're going to burn out. Additionally, and egocentrically, you might also be in an environment that is just too low-key. School, for me, was boring and drab until I moved to a technical program. And let me tell you: This place was terrific. My interest is computer science, and so half of the day, four out of five days, I take a bus to a school of higher education. Simply a change in scenery and company can sometimes drastically alter your view on life; It improved mine greatly. Suddenly I was feeling optimistic, hopeful, competent, and confident. The informational in-flow was significant, and every day I was learning something new. I was absolutely surrounded by technology, and lovers of technology like myself, something that I had only dreamed of until that moment. I got along with everybody. I found myself even making jokes(not the pointless awkward kind), something that I was mostly unable to do before. My point is: If you're really interested in chemistry, attempt to pursue (more than just a competition) a higher form of education. Experiment at your house. Look stuff up online, Google is a really great resource. And don't feel bad about missing school. If your school is at all similar to mine, most of the coursework and information there is solely to meet state standards. Almost none of it will be useful to you. However, you do need a certain amount of credits to graduate, and graduating will make your life (and your job-search in the upcoming years) a lot easier.Hope you found this helpful.

Possible depression for years? (read description please)?

Okay so I don't really know what you have but I'm guessing maybe you might have depression, possibly or maybe Dysthymia. Dysthymia is a mild form of depression that lasts a really long time (I'll try to provide a few links for this one). I'm guessing these dreams are from the pain you'd be going through from the bullying and such---which may have caused you to have depression... have you always felt like this?

How about you see your school counselor? Or someone like that. :) You can also talk to a pastor (preacher) about it; he/she could help. Also, read your Bible (It might provide some peace of mind.) and tell God about it. He can ease your pain.
You should definitely tell the counselor person you choose about your dreams and fears. It sounds like it could be something serious that you may need psychiatric help for.

Don't be afraid or ashamed to see a psychiatrist if you need to; your not haven't failed in some way if you need to see a psychiatrist, you just need a little help to get on your feet. :)

Hope this helps! :D
(Sorry that was long... :)

Am I suffering from clinical depression? (Read Description)

It would be foolish to render a diagnosis of any kind over the internet. Please see a qualified mental health practitioner and/or a General Practitioner as some depressive symptoms can be biologically-based.A couple of thoughts I hope you'll find useful, which, of course, are not meant to suggest a conclusive diagnosis:Your question details are dark and brooding and are suggestive of depression. The severity of depression is measured by the degree to which it interferes with "Activities of Daily Living", or ADLs. Of course that is not the only consideration involved, but does figure prominently (see #3). Are you able to maintain personal hygiene and/or continue with your studies? Do you go days without bathing or are you failing your studies? Are you eating significantly more or less than usual? There is also something called "masked depression" in which the sufferer is still depressed but puts on a "mask" of being happy. That could be a possibility in your case. From the great philosophers to the famous soliloquy of Hamlet's "To be or not to be..." the question of suicide and existence have been pondered. A saying I've heard goes something like "Not to question existence is not to exist" - probably passed down from my German ancestry, and certainly doesn't apply to all of existence. With proper treatment you can feel better. It might take a long time. Give yourself the time you need, and hang in there.Best wishes! The preceding remarks are based on personal experience, education, and advocacy for the mentally ill. In all cases where physical or mental illness are suspected a qualified professional should be promptly consulted.

I'm12 and I do masturbate... but *read description*?

Not a freak. Every guy that has gone very far into puberty masturbates regularly. Maybe one in 500 or one in a thousand don't but all the others do. At 12, a lot of your friends may not be there yet. But the average teen does it anywhere from several times a week to several times a day.

Penis size, like other stuff on your body, is determined by your DNA, not by whether you masturbate or not. Sperm and semen have no other purpose except to be ejaculated, so you don't take away or add to the rest of your body by masturbating or not masturbating.

Your parents - your dad for sure - and probably your mom too, know masturbation is normal. It would be good to talk to your dad about it. He can reassure you in person that you are normal, and it would help you to feel closer and be able to talk about other things when they come up. As a dad myself, I can promise you he will be flattered that you want to talk to him. When you're alone, say, 'Dad, I wonder if we could take a weekend or overnight trip and talk about sex and stuff. I'd like you to tell me all the things you wish you knew when you were my age.'

Masturbation is only considered an addiction if it keeps you from other activities and relationships - like it's all you think about all day, and you are sneaking off into restrooms, changing rooms etc to masturbate. But it's normal to do it daily or a few times a day, and most guys at some point decide to see how many times they can do it in one day. If you've got a life besides masturbation, it's not an addiction. It's just what guys do.

At this point in middle school, sex is new to most and they don't always know what they are talking about, so don't pay too much attention to what you hear. That's another good reason to talk with your dad.
