Once you transfer the page to them and ask for the money, they block you and keep the page without ever paying. The only way to avoid being scammed is to insist you don't hand over the page until after the money is in your hands. If they refuse to pay before getting the page, it means they were going to take the page and run. There are plenty of buyers who will pay upfront for a page, wait for one of them to come along before taking any risks.

Yes there are many programmes that can do this too many to list here. Up your firewall settings and do a full virus scan and invest in a good anti virus and internet security programme if you are really worried. I wipe my computer completely and just save my music and photo's every few months too, might be extreme but I've never had an issue and my pc always runs as fast as it shuld the day I bought it.
