How do I complaint about FedEx Customer Service?

Call the 1-800-GoFedex number, and when you get a Customer Service Rep, ask to speak with the Customer Advocacy Team (C.A.T)
(Tell the CSR that you are calling to complain about a previous CSR - it is helpful to have the tracking number of the package that was involved in the earlier conversation.)
The CSR may have a couple questions - but they will try to get you through to the CAT as soon as possible.

Note - *every* *single* call that goes to Fedex is recorded. (Not just ''may be recorded for quality'' - - they *are* recorded - for the protection of Fedex, the customers *and* the CSRs)

So, with a little research the CAT person will be able to locate the call, and will initiate the process of putting the complaint through.

How to deal with unprofessional customer service?

How do you deal with bank employees, fast food employees, retail employees calling you 'honey', 'babe, 'sweetheart', etc? It's beyond unprofessional and while we don't like it, we don't want to hurt their feelings if they don't know any better. I had a bank employee about 20 years old call me 'hun' until I wanted to smack her. Yesterday, my husband had a toothless McDonald's employee calling him 'sweetheart' and 'baby'. He looked at her like she was an idiot and then complained to me about for 10 minutes, but I thought he should have told her supervisor.

We both work in a corporate environment where people are educated enough to know this is unacceptable, so perhaps we are a little harsh. Do you tell employees when you find their behaviour unacceptable, do you tell them or their supervisors, or do you just let it go?

Unprofessional Customer Service?

Sounds like they were short staffed or short on tempers that day. You actually answered the hostesses question with a question which told her you didn't want her to take your order you wanted your waitress. Sometimes a hostess will go step in if the waitress is tied up or something, she may have been in the bathroom., or whatever or just slow. I am only looking on both sides of this-when you were asked can she help you when you first arrived she expected you to say something like
"yes 4 for dinner please" not we want to sit. Although you didn't find that a strange remark she may have thought you were treating her like she was an idiot. Of course you want to sit or maybe you wanted take out or to speak to someone that works there so her best question would be may I help you or how many tonight, it works both ways. I think maybe both of you had had a long day. I have found when I let someone else aggrevate me it seems the whole evening becomes somewhat disturbing and so when someone does this I immediately shake it off and and tell myself I may just be in a bad mood and I need to chill and have a good time.

How to deal with an unprofessional professor/instructor?

I'm so sorry. That's really unpleasant. One positive I can point out is that when these things happen, it is usually the gossipy instructor who loses the respect of other students, not the person about whom she is gossiping. It happened to me in law school, and my classmates, who knew me, were shocked at the professor.

You have a couple of choices. Normally, the better approach would be to go directly to the professor in question and say something like, "You should know that I've heard from several sources that you have said some rather unkind things about me to others, and I don't appreciate it." That would probably work best, however, if the statements were made publicly, rather than to other individual students, since you really don't want her to start bashing them also. It also won't really resolve the problem of her potentially blaming you for this and spreading it to the other faculty.

So, your other option is to go to the department chair, especially if you can get the support of one or more of the other students who heard her say these things directly, since coming from you, it is really hearsay.

Dealing with unprofessional employee?

That depends on what you mean by "unprofessional". Was the employee being blatantly rude and disrespectful? Were they joking around with you inappropriately? Were they hounding you about your purchase? If an employee does something that makes you uncomfortable shopping or dining at a business, speak with the manager. If they're giving you an attitude, humor goes a long way; "Wow, was it something I said?" or "I hope your day improves!" is how I usually deal with a grouchy employee. They're human, I understand, but there's no reason to bring it to work. If they're being insulting or abusive, definitely speak with the manager and ask for a corporate contact as well as the employee's name.

What ever happened to Customer Service? WHY is it so hard for people working retail to Smile & say Hello?

I am a Grocery Store Manager, and we strive on customer service. In todays world us Grocery stores need to be able to do something to keep our customers shopping with us and to gain new customers. If you do not practice good customer service Wal-Mart will put you out of business.
What do I mean by customer service? My employees are taught that the customers are their bosses, and without the customer, there would not be a job for them.My employees are to greet customers as they come into the store and as they leave the store. They are also to keep all their problems at home before coming to work and wear a smile as soon as they punch in for their shift. We even started this new thing...we walk our customers to their vehicles, unload their groceries and push cart back to the store. When it rains we have guys that walk the customers to their cars under large umbrellas.
In my store you will see customer service is a constant practice.I am sorry you went through an ordeal where ever you last shopped,I would say I would never shop there again!!!

How do you deal with unprofessional people in work?

Do your own work and don't worry about whether everyone else is doing theirs.

If the unprofessionalism of others is keeping you from doing your job properly, tell your boss.

The more time you spend worrying about stuff like this, the less time you'll have to do what you're getting paid for.
