I would go strawberry blonde, usually when you are a red head, you lean more towards the blonde side anyways. goood luck!
How to go from ginger to dark brown?
okai so i wanted to go from my chocolate dark brown hair colour to a honey blond but i only died half of my head but the first time i died it it went ginger i had some really light blond highlights put in months before i was gonna died my head. so because it went ginger i had to die it again nd it still didn'tt go blond it is in between a light ginger and a honey blond, but now i'm thinking of goign back to my natural hair colour but how should i do it? i was thinking of letting my hair grow and the die will fade abit more adn then dieing the ginger to a dark brown like my natural hair colour nd i'll let my hair grown more and then i'll get it cut again. but is there a better and quicker way to do it.
Will my hair go ginger if i dye it brown from light blonde?
You should call the number on the box of one of the hair dye companies you are gonna use, they can tell you what you have to do, to get the color you want with what you have now. They are really nice about helping you. Just tell them what you have now and what you wanna do. You sometimes might have to mix 2 different shades of dyes together to get it the color you want or you might have to dye it a certain shade then tone it or redye with another shade. What all do I need to dye my hair from ginger to a dark brown at home?

It is subsequent colouring that causes colour build up creating a darker and darker colour, everytime you apply over the same area.Professionally, we do root retouch for subsequent colouring sessions combing through the last 5~10 mins depending on fadage. Does the Hair looks more Ginger or just Light Brown?
I'm transitioning from dark reddish auburn to a light beige-blonde shade (naturally ash blonde, but prefer going lighter) but going for a longer time period. I plan to bleach it again in May or so. My hair had so much red pigments from a previous temporary dye so I added an ash semi perm dye over it to neutralize the color. The picture below is the result but does the hair color still look very ginger-ish? My hair has faded from a dark brown to a ginger colour what should I do?
I previously went to a hairdressers and had a full head dye in dark brown. It went a horrible black colour at first even though she was meant to be a qualified colorist. Within about 2 weeks it had faded to a lovely chocolaty/dark brown colour and i was really happy with it but it carried on fading to a gingery shade. It now looks like I've got ginger highlights! My hair is naturally light brown. In the past I had blonde highlights which I had dyed over back to my natural colour. Then about a year later is when I went to have this done which was only about 5 weeks ago. I do not know what to ask for when I go (to a different salon of course) or what to say happened. I am only 15 and cannot afford really expensive options. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated.

That will require some lightening. Trying to put a neutral light brown right over your natural red will result in a bit of a faded auburn color.If your hair is dyed ginger and it is not your natural color… beware! Dyeing over dyed red can get you unpredictable results! I tried to go light brown over dyed red hair and it turned out black. Yikes.If you’re unsure always talk to a stylist before taking the plunge. Is it possible to dye dark brown hair blonde without going ginger?
Yeah, I went to my hairstylist with black hair, 4 hours later I was blond, but I hated it and dyed it back within the next week or so. I don't recommend it though, it kills your hair and the bleaching makes your head reallyyyyyyy itchy. Just make sure you don't wash it out too soon, or you'll have orange hair. Can dark brown hair dye go over blue hair dye?
My hair is naturally light brown, or dark dirty blonde, however you receive the color, my natural hair color has been called both. In April of this year I went to a salon and got half of it bleached and had blue hair dye put on top of the bleached parts. Now I've decided I do not want blue hair any longer, and I was wondering if I put dark brown hair dye on top of all my hair if it would cancel out the blue? Or will I have to bleach the blue out?
