Can I still grow taller even if I now have facial hair?

It is very easy during your teenage years to become obsessed by various ideas. But no matter how long you spend thinking about how tall you might become, it won’t make any difference. As Jesus asked, “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” (Matthew 6:27).Source: How to Grow Taller at Any AgeA few boys don’t notice a growth spurt, even though it was there. Sometimes it is only a slight speed up and the growth is just taken in stride.Let’s do some math for a moment. You are currently 73 inches tall. If you had only grown 3 inches a year, then in 16 years you would have only reached 48 inches (4 feet). Thus you did go though a period of time when you grew faster than you thought. As nutrition improved in our country, it was true that each generation tended to grow taller than the previous; however, that “rule” no longer applies. There is only so much gain that can be received through better nutrition.Yes, there are some boys who don’t have a growth spurt until later, but that is because they don’t start puberty until later. It is possible for puberty to start as late as 16 and still be considered normal. It is typical for an older man to have more body hair than a young man. Even after you have long since stop growing you will continue to develop more body hair. In that is the plague of older men because hairs continue to develop in the oddest places — in the middle of your forehead, on your ears, on your nose — while at the same time you are losing hair from the top of your head. Such is life as an older man.

17 with no facial hair, still growing?

I am 17 with no facial hair and I'm currently 6 foot tall. I'm not mad or impatient with my facial hair growth because I know it will happen eventually, but I'm curious, am I still growing in height? Because the way I see it, if I don't have facial hair then I'm obviously not done with puberty, so do I still have room to grow? I'm happy with being 6 foot but but do you guys think I am growing?

Why did my brother have a beard at 16 but I havent grown any facial hair yet?

I have never shaved ever. Not even the upper lip and I dont need to yet. My freakin younger brother is starting to grow hair on his upper lip. It is kinda embaressing because he is like a year and a half younger but will probobly start shaving before me. And my older brother has had a beard since he was like 15. Im 16 in a half and have no signs of facial hair. The upper lip is all white peach fuzz and not long or dark enough to shave. Im also worried about my penis. Im 16 and its only like 4 inches hard. Why cant I just look my age gurls like masculine guys. I have a deep voice and armpit and pubic hair and my muscles are developed and im taller than both parents so ive hit my growth spurt. I hit puberty late and some things have changed but others havent at all or hardly changed before puberty is annoying and wierd.

Stubborn facial hair growth?

I am a 21 year old male and haven't grown any facial hair, I like the idea of facial hair but it refuses to grow except a few strands out of my chin ... both my grandfathers started growing facial hair at 16 and 17 ... please cn i have advice on kick starting my facial hair ...

Im 15, if i start shaving will my facial hair grow quicker?

If you learn about hair and how it grows then you will understand quite quickly that shaving has no impact on what grows later. Hair can trick you into thinking that hair grow increases or thickens up because of the shaving but this is physically impossible. Hair is dead once it has grown and cannot be influenced by how often it is cut. New hair growth can seem to be tougher just because it is short but once it has increased in length it feels softer again. I soon gave up shaving with the old fashioned scrape method (it left me with a permanently red sore face over a period of weeks) and have used an electric shaver for the past 48 years. Go for one that gives a quality cut. It is fast and efficient and is kind to the skin. A blade (even a high tech one) seems so messy and lost in the mists of time. I once had to use the blade method when on holiday and it soon made me realise why I had opted for the electric razor.

I'm 17 and yet I don't have facial hair and teased by my friend every now and then. What should I do to grow my facial hair faster?

Thanks for the A2A.As others have already answered, your beard is hard coded in your genetics. You can't do much to speed it up or make it arrive faster.Usually a protein diet will promote healthy hair but since you are only 17 it is likely that you'll just have to be patient until it eventually shows up.Women who undergo transgender treatments to become male take doses of testosterone which often result in light facial hair (but never thick beards). If you have an urgent need for facial hair you may want to speak to a doctor about testosterone treatment. But this is such a terrible and drastic idea that most doctors are unlikely to approve the treatment in your case.Be patient. My facial hair growth also started late but now I have no complaints - I still don't have much chest hair though, but that's okay with me.
