How Do I Know If The Eye Of My Ps3 Is Messed Up

My son's eyes get instantly blood shot when playing PS2?

Your son could suffer from sensitive eyes. Many video-games now days are very visually stimulating. (Much like 3D movies you see in theaters). Your sons eyes may react negatively to the lights and visuals. The added light in the room would greatly help cancel out some of the harmful TV screen rays. However his eyes may be just unique and get bloodshot fast from this.
Here are some tips:
1. Keep a low-medium light on in the background, not producing glare on the screen, and a warm vanilla color.
2. Turn down the brightness on the TV. A lot of times the TV is bright and can really strain your sons eyes if it is too bright for him. Try turning down the brightness as well as any other settings you realize make your eyes feel more comfortable to look at (you can always change it back whenever)
3. Tell your son to take a 5-15 min break (or at least 15 seconds) of not looking at the TV every hour to hour and a half. Keep his eyes adjusted to the room but just looking away greatly relaxes them.

***Finally and this is my most recommended suggestion. If he REALLY loves games get him Gunnar Optiks glasses. (www.gunnars.com) They are about $70 which is relatively cheep for glasses or a little more if he wears prescription but they are outstanding. They are non harmful to his actual sight, like wearing sunglasses, and wont mess up his vision no matter the age. Get the Amber colored ones and they can last him a lifetime. The glasses help with migraines, bloodshot eyes, and reduce tons of the harmful lights that enter his eyes when looking at any type of screen.

Hope that helped! Have a great day.

EDIT: I answered all I could above, if it does happen with a few minutes it could just be because of his sensitive eyes. Also if your using a 50" 3D HDTV Television set with a old Playstation 2 the graphics may suffer and cause strain in your sons eyes. May consider buying him a Ps3 or Xbox 360 to replace it and using HD. You may think it could make it worse but the clarity of HD can actually sooth the eyes and make them strain less. Again consider the glasses if you can afford it. Or switch to a Tube TV with no HD imports and use the Ps2 on that if you have one. There could be infinite reasons this happens.

Why my ps2 say the could not be read?

Well, I'm just giving a random guess- but by any chance did you scratch the eye (the thing that reads the disc)? If so then... well you kinda ****'d your self there. I have a US PS2 Silver Slim, and if a single hair like a eyelash gets on the reader, it has issues. Also, my ps2 constantly has a grinding noise due to either a. the fan (i'm pretty sure it's broken because i normally have a large fan behind it to cool it down) or b. general wear and tear.
But I think you messed up the eye that reads it during cleaning it. Secondly, from the way you make this sound it's beyond repair- or you can repair it, but it'll just be cheaper to buy a new ps2. (not like you're going to loose any progress, considering memory cards are being used- of course.) All Playstations, whether it be PS1, PS2, PS3 or even the new PS4- they're delicate.
However I really doubt the eye would make it grind in any fashion, so again- i still think your issue is about the reader, however not necessarily it it's self but what if something is caught in it? Like a thread from a towel?
In any way, you still look better off buying a new one unless you can easily find the source of why and carefully fix it.

PS. I'm pretty sure you want your discs spinning to be read.

Slow Rendering on my PS3?

It's not your system. A lot of developers are just figuring out how the Cell processor actually works in conjunction with the PS3s GPU. It's not your PS3. A lot of games that run fine on XB360 or PC have trouble on the PS3 because the devs get lazy and try to direct-port the games over. While the PS3 has way, WAY more processing power than the XB360, most developers simply don't know how to program for it yet. We saw the same thing back when the PS2 was first released - look at some of the first wave of PS2 releases compared to some later games like GT4 Pro Spec and Metal Gear Solid 3. Worlds of difference. Wait until the next wave of games come out and you should see a marked difference.

Spore and Little Big Planet are probably two of the best examples of just how amazing the PS3 can be when pushed a little. Keep your eyes peeled for those.

Can you get prescripted colored contacts?

Okay so I think that it would be soo cool if I could change up my eye color. I already have to wear glasses so I was wondering if it's possible to get colored contacts in my eye prescription? Also can colored contacts mess up your eyes? Ty! :p

Why can't I display my PS3 on my TV?

Are you using the composite cables? YPbPr? HDMI?If you are using Composite, it is most likely that it is set to output to another connection and ignoring the output, if using YPbPr, then make sure that you have correctly connected the connections, if on HDMI, make sure that your TV supports HDCP.To reset your console’s output settings, power down the system, and hold down the power button for at least 5 seconds.

Ps3 Without Hard Drive?

My Ps3 broke, got the red eye of death once again. We have fixed it before, but this time luck was not with us and the whole thing went out. No power.. =( Would it be possible to find a Ps3 without the hard drive in it. I have looked on ebay but found ones that were only shells. Which I am assuming has no electronics in it. Where would be a good place to look... maybe better key words I could use to search with. Thank you very much for the help guys!

Will playing video games in mobile for 1–3 hours a day bad for health?

If I must say this is usually common nowadays, you must not actually ask this question but 1–3hours a day is fine unless you strain your eyes i.e keeping your eyes near to your mobile but to be honest mobile phone doesn't cost too much damage to your eyes if you are seeing it for 2 hours. I recommend you to avoid any other tech device like laptops etc. PS3 or XBOX consoles are terrific. As you mentioned Mobile phones even 3 hours per day is ok in playing video games as well as consider about the game. Games with high graphics are also not good e.g: Modern Combat 5, Real Racing 2 etc. but you can play games like Subway Surfers, Temple Run etc. Lastly you mentioned migraines, I will suggest you to use flux which miraculously disappeared my head ache or migraine. As fast I am considered you are 34 years (mentioned above) you may have your own phone so you just root your device and you can have a happy sleep. Hope these things helped you. I would conclude by saying that play but enjoy and play because some people play for the sake to escape studies or defeat their friends in a game.
