How Do I Learn To Draw

How do I learn how to learn how to draw?

Learning to draw isn't as hard as it seems. It's all about seeing what's already there. First of all, don't start from drawing books or on the web. It really helps starting from still life's or objects. You can look it a lot closer with more detail. to get better at drawing first look at an objects overall shape. Don't look at your paper. Follow the line of an object and let your hand go with your eyes. I use my hand. It's a great way to see what's there. I do this and I'm a professional artist. The first couple drawings will look bad but keep trying. Also to make a drawing look more visually appealing make small short lines with a pencil, not one big one. Make sure to include value and shading into your drawing. I hope this helps

How can i learn to draw?

Yes, it's absolutely possible for someone who is bad at drawing to become good (even professional). All you need to do is practice. You have to actually like it and stick with it, because it can get frustrating. I started out by looking at other drawings on photobucket and trying to copy them to the best of my ability. I didn't realize it, but in a month I had already improved a lot. Then I started to draw my own pictures, using some references, then eventually I began to do well with colors, also. Now I'm using graphite and charcoal and pastels comfortably and I love it so much. :D
So PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE~! You probably hear that a lot, but it really does pay off. Have fun and never give up, keep at it and you'll be a great artist. :)

How do I learn drawing fast?

It is possible to learn how to draw fast!Drawing is a technical skill that can be learned. As most of the answers have already said, to be fully proficient at it you need a lot of practice and there are a lot of different skills that need to be learned. This can takes years or decades to learn the basics if you don’t have the right tuition or guidance. I believe that you CAN learn fast, provided that you have the right training. The first step is to understand what drawing is. Drawing is the ability to put a relationship of lines on the page to create shapes that match the way that our perception works. The reason that people struggle to draw is because they try and draw shapes that match their logical understanding of objects rather than their perception. For example if we were to draw a window, our brain tells us that a window is a rectangle with parallel sides. So we think that to draw a window that people will recognise, our shapes will need parallel sides. But if we look at the example below, we can see that the shape that we need to draw to represent this window does not have any parallel lines. So, to learn to draw is really about learning how our perception works. If you would like to know more, that’s exactly what I teach at my site Art Lessons OnlineI have a free course which will give you the first foundation understanding to be able to learn how to draw fast.

Above is one of my more recent drawings. I've been drawing manga/anime for about 6 years now, and I still have much to learn. For the record though, I'm self taught. I'm sure if you had someone to teach you it would be faster to develop your own style.

Try looking at the how to draw anime by by Chris Hart, I find those good references. Also, don't be ashamed to use reference pictures for various poses. For me my weakness is drawing hands/feet as well as designing clothes for my characters to wear.

I'd like to see your work to sometime
