APA citation for the book Romeo and Juliet?

You are going to need your book to cite it; you need the author of the book, the publication year, the title of the book, the city of publication, and the publisher. All of these are gleaned from the book you read.

An example of APA style citation is:

Okuda, M., & Okuda, D. (1993). Star trek chronology: The history of the future. New York: Pocket Books.

How do i cite a website with no author in in text citations? APA style.?

If there is no author to cite, such as when you are citing a web page that lists no author, use an abbreviated version of the title of the page in quotation marks to substitute for the name of the author.

Do i include the author's professional title in an APA citation?

Yes it is the first one. Put a full stop after G. No titles or qualifications are included in author details in an APA in text citation or reference list. This is because they specify that all papers submitted for publication in APA journals “omit” these from the writer’s own title page. Therefore, papers in publication (and referenced by us) are less likely to have these in the details. That said, those that do have these details should be ignored for APA referencing purposes. To distinguish between authors with the same initials they tell the authors to be careful about the name they choose to publish with, it does not fall to us to distinguish between them with titles. That applies to web site authors.

Web page year of publication field with no determinable date. Replace the year with “(n.d.).”

Citing with APA help?

I am writing a paper and the whole thing is from my one textbook. Our teacher told us that this would probably be our only source of information. We have to write it in APA format and I was wondering how I should cite it. For example, am I supposed to put (Solberg, 2010) after each paragraph? and what about if I use a direct quote? All help is appreciated. I'm only used to writing in MLA. Thanks!

Can I use "Ibid" in APA style citations?

No.  The use of "ibid." is part of a system of organization of bibliographic references and citations to those references.  The system used by APA does not require it.  Specifically, you use "ibid." when you want to use the same source again, in those systems  that work that way.  But APA calls for you to reference the source within the text, not in footnotes.  For example, you would have something like this:  Jones (1999) argues that "we all live on the planet" (p. 326), while Smith  (2002) says we do not.  However, Jones also provides proof of his claim as well (Jones, 1999, p.326).There is no need for "Ibid."

How do you cite IDEA 2004 in the APA format? What are some tips?

How do you cite the APA manual in APA format?

Since the APA Manual (an informal title) is effectively authored by the organization (i.e., APA), some sites have stated it be cited as other reference works with an organizational author:American Psychological Association. (2010). Publication manual of the American Psychological Association (6th ed.). Washington, DC: American Psychological Association.N.B. hanging indents are required after the first line. However, since the document was edited, the more appropriate citation is likely:VandenBos, G. R. (Ed). (2010). Publication manual of the American Psychological Association (6th ed.). Washington, DC: American Psychological Association.I’d recommend going with the 2nd citation, since the APA itself uses this format as the example given for its APA Dictionary of Psychology in the APA Manual under “Reference book” (p. 204).
