I have 2 EA Folders for Sims 3 with different games?
I don't want to end up deleting my newest family (in EA Folder in Documents) But I want to get rid of the old saved family because it takes up a lot of storage (in EA Folder OLD. Found in SUB FOLDER) I was going through my documents folder where the EA folder can be found and I realised there were 2 EA Folders for Sims 3 on there each with DIFFERENT games. One was in a sub folder, called Folder and this was an older game which I thought had been deleted during a Disc Clean-up. After the Clean-up I tried playing Sims 3 but it said to create a new family, as if the old household (EA Folder in sub folder) never existed. So I created a new family and the EA Folder is in Documents and has the game I play now. PLEASE NOTE: before I did the Disk Clean-up, there was only ONE EA Folder witht he old household and this was not in the sub folder, but in the Documents folder (where my newest household is now), So when I made a new game, it kind of replaced the old one later to be found in the sub folder. SO ALL EA FOLDERS HAVE THE SAME TOOLS AND THINGS JUST DIFFERENT SCREEN-SHOTS AND MODS AND HOUSEHOLDS. EVERYTHING ELSE IS IDENTICAL. SO DO I DELETE THE OLD ONE IN THAT SUB FOLDER? IF SO, WILL IT AFFECT THE GAME? WILL IT REMOVE ITEMS FROM MY NEW FAMILY? NEW GAME? anyone else had this problem? Make a Hidden Folder in Windows Anyone knows how to make a “hidden” folder in Windows, but then again almost anyone knows how to make explorer show hidden folders. Let’s take a look at how to make a folder so hidden, only you will know its there. Anyone that has used Windows for a while knows that they can right-click on a file or folder and edit its properties, more so its attributes to make it a so called “hidden” file or folder. The problem is that just as many people know you can show files and folders that have the “hidden” attribute by simply changing a radio button under the folder view options. The easiest way to make a real hidden file or folder is to mark it as an important operating system file, that way Windows won’t display it even if explorer is set to display hidden files and folders. To do this we need to launch a command prompt, so press the Win + R key combination and type cmd then hit the enter button. Use the attrib command, so go ahead and type a command similar to the following (you’ll need to substitute the path to your own folder here). attrib +s +h “C:\Users\d.tcom\Desktop\My Stuff” You will need to replace the stuff in quotes to an absolute path of a folder or file on your system that you want to make hidden. Now if I go look for the My Stuff folder on my Desktop it is gone, even with explorer set to show hidden files and folders. To unhide the file or folder you can run the same command, except this time use “-“ instead of the “+” signs. attrib -s -h “C:\Users\d.tcom\Desktop\My Stuff” Attention: While this method will catch 99 percent of people, if I knew for a fact that there was a hidden folder on a system that I was looking for there are many ways that will expose the folder. The easiest would be to make explorer show operating system files, which can be done through the same interface as showing hidden files. earlier today, i was using my family's shared flash drive to try to find an old photo my dad took with me. i'm in his folder of the drive, and i see a porn folder. the images date to being saved a month ago, and last viewed yesterday. i don't want to have to tell my mother, because they had a fight over my father looking at porn two years ago, and it nearly led to divorce. what should i do?

I say make sure to back-up all of your pictures first. This way when you send them, nothing glitchy will happen.If you have and Apple computer, or device, you can create a “shared folder” (and don’t forget to share the folder with the family members you want!) on the photos app, and upload pictures there.If you don’t own an Apple device, you can use google photos and from there, upload all of the pictures and create folders to share with family and friends. I believe this works with Android users as well.Google Photos also is very helpful if you are running out of storage because of these photos. You can upload, and categorize them on Google Photos, and then delete all of the pictures off of your computer, and still have them stored online.Try these ideas, and if it doesn’t help, try to search other ways. It is probably a few things. Humans are multi-variate and it's typically not one thing that drives behavior.I would strongly guess that their behavior is mainly based more on their own insecurities than anything about you. I'm sure they love you and are not malevolent. They are likely detecting that you are annoyed by them, and now they are stressed leading them to act in a manner that is hurting you even more. What I suggest is that you do your part and be the best person you can be to help the situation. Watch Jordan Peterson on YouTube talk about something as small as cleaning your room. Families aren't always happy, and sometimes they need a hero to choose the right decisions to turn things around.

My Sims2 music folders are empty, Is this Normal?
OK, sounds like you need to do a full uninstall/reinstall. First, move your Sims 2 folder to your desktop (or other safe location). This will keep your save your games and sims, plus all you downloads. Rename the file, something like Backup The Sims 2. Click START, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Once this finishes loading and populating, go to The Sims 2 (do it for each EP, if you have any), and click REMOVE. Click START, My Computer, then click the FOLDERS button. In the left hand column, click the + sign next to local disk C: (or whatever the hard drive where the Sims 2 is installed). Now, click the + sign next to Program Files. Then the + sign next to EA GAMES. Delete all files pertaining to The Sims 2, including all EPs. Just to be sure everything else is OK with your computer: Click START > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup. Wait for the system to scan your files. Click OK for all temp files and the recycle bin to be emptied. Now, click START > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter. When the window opens, click Defragment. This may take quite a while. When it's done, restart your computer. Almost done, re-install your game and all your EPs. Don't forget to download and install all of the patches for your games. Move the new Sims 2 folder (My Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2) onto your desktop. Change the name to The Sims 2 Original. Move the Backup The Sims 2 folder from your desktop into the EA Games folder. Change the name back to The Sims 2. Go into The Sims 2 Original folder, copy the Music folder and paste it in you EA Games folder. When asked if you would like to replace the existing folder, say yes/OK. Start your game. The music should be working now. Don't forget to enable custom content! You should make a backup of The Sims 2 folder about once a week (or more) if you play a lot. Good luck and happy simming!
