How Do I Make My Parents Let Me Stay At Home

How do I get my parents to let me stay home?

I'm having pretty bad diarrhea, along with cramps and a mild fever. I was eating raw cookie dough yesterday, and I'm beginning to suspect it's salmonella. Literally, every 10 minutes I have been running to the bathroom to have diarrhea. I usually go to school when I feel sick anyway, but I don't want to have diarrhea in school. There's only one bathroom in the basement of my school, so I don't if I would be able to make it.

I tell my mom this but she said that she doesn't think that I'll experience diarrhea at school. I don't want to risk it. What can I tell her and my stepfather?

How can I make my parents let me stay at home alone?

How do you fancy a free ride in a police car, some air time on Fox news, meeting some colourful and exciting characters in a shelter and or foster home, and weekend visits to your parents in a jail cell? Not something you can warm up to? Well that will be the outcome if your parents leave you while on vacation for 5 days.In the USA, many states prohibit leaving children (yeah, I know, you do not consider yourself a child, but the law does) alone for extended periods of time, it is called abandonment, and is punishable by law.You will be whisked away by Child Protective Services, and your parents will be apprehended upon their arrival home, and charged with abandonment and a host of other things that the officials can conjure up, especially if something happens to you.You will then become a ward of the state, bounced around for a while, then finally settled with a relative. Your parents will more than likely lose custody, and in some cases will even be required to pay the state a monthly support for you……..boy will they be ticked!!Short answer: Chill. In two years you will have all the independence you crave (but won’t want!).This one is definitely not a good idea, there are many more ways to prove your maturity without running the risk of having to permanently reside with Aunt Mabel - the widowed aunt with zero children, who smells like dirty laundry, has 20 cats, is as myopic as a barnyard owl, and cleans your room 9 times a day because she is OCD.Now wait a minute! Come to think of it, that is a good way to demonstrate your maturity. Yes, that experience will undoubtedly force you into maturity; real fast! Here is a link that can help you understand that your parents are really not trying to kill your fun, they just love  you and don’t want to lose you! When Is Leaving a Child at Home Alone Illegal?

How to get your parents to let you stay home from school?

Alright, if you are somewhat serious about wanting to stay home, wake up in the middle of the night tonight and after flushing the toilet go into your parents bedroom with your best "sick" face on and say you had awful diarrhea while gripping your stomach. This generally got me to stay home back in high school/middle/elementary.

If you are REALLY serious and 100% want to not go to school, here's a surefire way of doing it, but you have to fully commit: Sneakily go into your fridge and find some colorful foods/leftovers. Take it into the bathroom and put a good amount into your mouth and chew chew chew, no matter how bad it tastes. Refill your mouth if you turn the food into a small pile of mush, and repeat until you have collected a solid amount of chewed up food in your mouth. Hide the leftovers somewhere in the bathroom or nearby location you can easily get back to later. Now's the most important part: Slowly walk into a room where your parents are sitting/sleeping, and moan, then project all that food over the floor in front of you. Once the food left, continue to "gag" and spit on the pile, while holding your stomach. Surely they will get up and hurry to clean it up, and you just have to put all the food back where you found it, and deny any food coming your way the rest of the night/morning. Surely, you will stay home from school.

I'm really sick but my parents won't let me stay home?

Tell your first period teacher you are feeling sick and you need to go lie down and sleep somewhere. If you truly are sick, usually the teacher can tell by the way you sound or look. They will either send you straight home or find you a bed to sleep in.
If you are feeling nauseated and your parents force you to school, then spend the whole day in the bathroom until you finally throw up. Don't do what my sister did. She was a good girl who dragged herself from class to class after our selfish mother forced her to school bc selfish mom had some big day for herself planned at the spa or something, and did not want a sick patient at home.
My sis was not a truant. She had not "missed too many times". She was a straight A student who did not dare to cross my mom. Sis told her that morning she was going to vomit. Mom yelled at her and forced her to school anyway, where she tried to pretend she was not sick.
She threw up in front of everyone in class and for years the bullies would not let her live that down. She spent her middle school years battling depression and thoughts of suicide while selfish mom remained forever blissfully oblivious to her role in that.
Tell a teacher. Find a bed. Find a friend's house. Don't drag yourself through if you are really sick.

I'm 14 and my parents won't let me stay at home alone!!!!!!?

Ok, i'm 14 yrs old, A grade student. Take speech and drama class, play sport. I am really responsible. I have never done anything to lose their trust.

The weird thing is, they let me babysit, my friend and i go babysitting together and they don't mind.

But they won't let me babysit my brother (11) only for like 5 minutes during the day when they go to my grandparents. (2 houses away)

the other day they let me have a trial of staying home alone for 2 hrs. NOthing bad happened and everything ran smoothly. But they haven't let me do it again.

My Dad was really nervous. He said "I don't really want to do this, i'm very nervous about this"
before he left and othertimes when i have asked him to stay at home alone he has said " No i am your father, i am responsible for you, and if anything happened while you were at home, i'd be held responsible and i'd never forgive myself"

I know its because they care about me. But i think they need to loosen up. I'm not a baby anymore!!

I'm sick... But my parents won't let me stay home from school!?

I swear to god, I am sick. I went to the doctor today, and the doctor offered to give me a medical certificate so I could stay home but my mother refused! I have some virus that is going around and it makes it difficult to swallow and my nose is running! I asked my parents if I could stay home but they said no! I'm feeling even worse, I'm burning and my nose is blocked. My parents told me to do my homework (I'm doing it right now) but my head hurts.. I can't really explain it but it feels like someone is knocking the walls of my head. My mum even yelled at me.. I really want to stay home, I took the antibiotics the doctor prescribed me and took a strepsil but nothing is working. I really want to stay home. I am not falling behind on school work, in fact, I am one of the best students in my class! Why won't they let me stay home and how can I convince them to let me go. I know my school is expensive but I don't care. I can't even concentrate like this. I also have PE tomorrow! Please help me!!

How could I get my parents to let me stay home alone for one night? I'm fifteen.

You wont be able to sleep whole night because you will be little bit scared and remember all the horror movies, thieves getting into the house and murdering you, you will think of ghost and hear all weird noises. First time is tough but worth the adventure. For me, it was scary first time but afterwards I became very bold. I was 18–19 yrs old and I had watched one vampire movies 3–4 times because I couldn't understand the movie. First time in watched when it was 14–15 yrs old. So first night, I was seeing movie all over in my brain so couldnt sleep then, I got up and kept a god's book under my pillow and slept immdly.

How can I convince my parents to let me stay home alone for the weekend?

I am 17, will be 18 in August. Next month my parents are going on a trip just the two of them. Its just 3 days Friday, Sat, Sun. They want to have my grandparents come up and watch me. I seriously cannot take my grandparents for 3 days. I love them but they are starting to go a little crazy (not like alzheimers) but just annoying crazy. My parents big thing is they are worried about me drving, I am pretty good but still learning. If they stock the fridge beforehand I won't have to frive anywhere, I mean I'ld like to go to the local animal shelter and volunteer-- but if just skipping that gets me to stay home alone then I won't. I have never been busted for anything illegal like drugs. Plus since we just moved to the new house I don't know anyone to invite to have a party. How can I convince them?
