How Do I Pull Up My Ssn Monthly Checks

Do ssi checks come on new years eve?

The January 1st SSI check will be paid Monday, December 31st. Of course if you receive paper checks there is no guarantee that you will receive it timely but that is when the check is scheduled to be paid. For those who have debit cards or bank accounts they will get their benefits on the 31st.

Checks are paid when due unless the due date falls on the week-end or national holiday. In that case the benefit is paid the first workday BEFORE.

Google "schedule of social security benefit payments 2013" and you will have the due dates of every single benefit social security pays in 2013. Then print it and you won't have to ask this question again.

When do SSI checks come out for the month of December?

I get a social security check every month, if i get a job will they take that away from me?

"What if I work?
If you work while getting Social Security survivors benefits and are younger than full retirement age, your benefits may be reduced if your earnings exceed certain limits. (The full retirement age was 65 for people born before 1938 but will gradually increase to 67 for people born in 1960 or later.) To find out what the earnings limits are this year and how earnings above those limits reduce your Social Security benefits, ask for How Work Affects Your Benefits (Publication No. 05-10069).

There is no earnings limit beginning with the month you reach full retirement age.

Also, your earnings will reduce only your benefits, not the benefits of other family members. "

The "How work affects benefits" information can be found here http://www.ssa.gov/pubs/10069.html

How long will I receive Social Security checks after I graduate?

You should be able to find or get the correct answer that yo want and need for your situation by going to the www.ssa.gov website and look at the survivors benefits Q and A section or find the location of your local SSA office and go in person and get the correct answer FACE to FACE in person.

Did anyone else get an extra check from Social Security this month?

Could it be a Medicare Part B refund? If you went from Medicare to being covered by Medicaid (i.e. now extremely low income), and the state started paying your Medicare premiums, then it could be a refund from Social Security for them still taking out the Medicare from your Social Security check after the state was covering that cost. You should eventually get a letter explaining what occurred. You can try calling social security at their 1-800 number. It takes a while to get through, but they are very helpful when you do get through. If you get stuck in one of those loops of pressing a menu choice on the phone, then press zero to get in the queue to talk to a real person.

My mom takes my social security checks?

You are getting Social Security survivor benefits based on your late father's work record. The check is not in your name only. The benefit is in your Mom's name for your care. "Jane Doe for Jane Doe Jr." Social Security stopped issuing paper checks completely and all benefits are direct deposit in to a checking/savings account or put on a money card.
You are not legally entitled to any of that money while you are a minor under the age of 18. It is intended to help provide for your basic needs. Rent, utilities, food, clothing, etc.
The benefit ends the month you turn 18 if you are no longer in high school. If you are still in high school (not college) then the benefit would go directly to you until the month you graduate or turn 19 and 2 months, whichever comes first.

This is a tough question to answer as it depends on a lot of factors. Are you waiting on a first benefit payment and not received it? If this is the case, you should receive or have received a notice informing you as to the date you can expect your first payment. Have you been receiving checks for a while via mail and this one is late? Have you moved? Have you received a notice of overpayment? Have you received any other notices such as your benefits are being terminated for some other reason? If nothing has changed and you all of a sudden have not received your check Typically SSA recommends you wait 3 business days on a late payment then report it to them 1–800–772–1213. If you suspect the check is lost or stolen report it immediately.SSA requires disability recipients to have benefits direct deposited in your bank account. If your banking information has changed and you have not reported it, this could be a reason for a late check also.Again, there are several different reasons that could be the answer as to why you haven’t received your check. More background information about the circumstances would help clarify or narrow down possible reasons. When in doubt, call SSA and they should be able to help determine and explain the reasons.

I will assume Social Security checks are being mailed. Most Social Security payments are now done by direct deposit - reportedly about 10% are mailed. The SSA is under a Congressional directive to reduce mailing checks as much as possible - it was hoped that 95% of all payments would be electronic by now. New Social Security recipients are generally required to establish an account for direct deposit and are not given the option to have checks mailed to him/her.If your mailed check is late, there is little that can be done. You may want to consider opening an account and using the direct deposit approach - that gives much greater certainty that funds are received timely. It will be difficult to pick your preferred date, the SSA generally has a cycle dictating when checks are deposited for particular recipients which I am told is to balance workload, etc.Postal delays occur for a variety of reasons - and there is little that can be done about that.

Why didn't I receive my ssi check when due?Contact your local SSA office and while you are there switch to direct deposit.
