KSA has updated the “Cyber-Crime Laws” recently.It has been reported that Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet has approved changes to the Kingdom’s Anti-Cyber Crime Law (Royal Decree No. M/17 dated 8 Rabi1 1428) that could allow offenders to be publicly named and shamed.Article 6 of the Law currently provides for a penalty of up to five years’ imprisonment and/or a fine not exceeding three million riyals (USD 800,000) for any person found guilty of a range of offences, including the “production, preparation, transmission, or storage of material impinging on public order, religious values, public morals, and privacy, through the information network or computers”. The additional powers granted to the courts under the amended provision will allow the publication of a summary of the ruling in one or more local newspapers or any other medium deemed suitable by the court in the context of the type of the crime, its severity and its impact. The publication can only be made once the ruling gains the status of “final ruling,” and the offender may also be required to pay for the costs of publication.Reference: Saudi Arabia updates cybercrime law to include “naming and shaming” penalty - Data Protection ReportThere are ample precedents available in Saudi legal system where citizens are convicted for bullying, hurting, blackmailing others on social mediaThe Criminal Court of Qatif in Saudi Arabia recently convicted a 32-year-old woman on charges of defaming another Saudi citizen on the WhatsApp private messaging service and sentenced her to two months’ imprisonment, 70 lashes, and a fine of 20,000 riyals (about US$5,334). Can any police officer use abusive or vulgar language with a citizen?

Can he? Yes. Should he? In most instances, no. While there are a limited number of circumstances where foul language is useful as an emphasizer or to get someone's attention, in the vast majority of instances it is merely unprofessional and offensive. If an officer's language offends you, you can always get his name and complain. In all likelihood, his supervisors will counsel him about his language. Before I figured out that it was much more effective to be polite and professional, I was counselled a couple of times concerning language.

What happens when you report & block someone on WhatsApp?

When one reports and blocks somebody on WhatsApp, one obvious angle is that the person whom you had reported and blocked would no longer be able to text or call you on WhatsApp or even see your number on that person’s WhatsApp contact list.And the second angle is that if a phone number has been reported and blocked by many users, eventually that number ends up either being temporarily or even permanently debarred from using WhatsApp service. It is the sole discretion of WhatsApp to decide the nature of ban (i.e., either temporary or permanent)

WHY doesn't my Ti-89 Calculator produce the right answer when I try to do Law of Sines (Click to view)?

Ok,

I've been trying to answer this question for the past hour, until I concluded tha it is porbably my calculator that's off mode or something..

here is the question
A= 36 degrees a=8 b=5

I know you are suppose to do this....
Sin 36 degrees/ 8 = Sin B/5 >>>> 5sin36/8>>>Sin-1 (sin negative) 5 sin 36 degrees/8

The answer is suppose to be 21.6 degrees but I keep getting around 0.37

WHY IS THAT?

Is it correct to write "Dear Sirs" when you are sending email to many, while writing a professional email?

If I opened an email that started Dear Sirs, I would delete it immediately, assuming it had come to the wrong person: I am not a Sir.If you’re going for a nameless generic, then go generic:Chairpersons,Committee Members,Friends of the Endangered Goldfinch,and so on.

Do you think it's bad manners to correct peoples' spelling/grammar?

If your true intention is to help someone, then it's fine to correct them for their mistakes, however, do it as discreetly as possible to avoid embarrassment. It's very rude to correct a person if you just want people to know that you are knowledgeable than the other.
