How do you scan your drawings?

Hi:

there are many many way to put information into a computer but the three most common ways to put a printed documents or drawing are :
1) a scanner or a printer/coper with a scanner built into it
2) a camera
3) a graphic tablet

To input a picture with a scanner ( like the one I got ) is to go to File and find either " import" or from Scanner or Camera Depending on the program being use ( I like MS Paint for this application ) For MS Paint go to file select the From "Scanner or Camera" option and a screen will pop up and ask you the following " What do you want to scan?" along with the following Color Picture , Gray Scale, Black & white picture or text, Custom Setting along with "Preview, Scan, and Cancel with big Gray Screen on top of it ( this for previewing and selecting what you want to scan into Paint before committing to the paint program) if you want to scan without preview than just select scan and it will scan everything in the scanner to the paint program than you can save it to a file or edit it with MS paint built in image editor if you save it you can use other Paint or photo editor program also you got to remember the pictures don't scan themselve in to the computer you have to feed it with what you want for it.

I hope this helps

How Do I Scan Pictures With My Printer ?

You need to install the drivers so the device is recognized by your operating system. Windows usually can install the drivers independently, but your device should have come with such a CD that contains drivers and software. You can also find the drivers and software on the manufacturer's homepage. You need to install the software to scan!
To scan, connect the device, launch the software and use it. Without knowing what device you have it's difficult to give a step by step explanation, but it should be self explanatory.
You should be able to save scanned items as PDF or image files (bmp, jpg, jpeg, png, gif). Typically, you tell the scanner before you start what you are going to scan, i.e. black and white or color, what resolution (300dpi is more than enough), text and/or images etc.

How to scan a document into a computer?

Step 1
Turn on your all-in-one printer and computer. Check the connections between the two machines.
Step 2
Lift the printer's document lid. Examine the scanning surface and the underside of the lid for dust and fingerprints.
Step 3
Put the document you wish to scan face-down on the glass. Use the alignment markers to help you square up the object. These are usually found on the left-hand edge of the scanning area.
Step 4
Close the printer's document lid slowly so the document does not shift position.
Step 5
Select a scan resolution. The higher the dpi (dots per inch) count, the sharper and more detailed the image.
Step 6
Push the scan button. You may have to do this on the printer itself or on your computer.
Step 7
Check the preview of your scan on your computer. Depending on your all-in-one printer and software, you may have to prompt your computer to display the preview for you.
Step 8
Edit the image as it appears on your computer if you want to make changes. Your scanning software might let you enlarge, resize or otherwise manipulate the final product.
Step 9
Accept the scan and save. Return the original document to a safe location.

There are two main ways:Use the on-screen interface to either scan to email, an SD card, or a USB stick.Connect it to a computer and use scanner software on your computer. This will let you have more control over what you’re scanning and get it to look just right. If you want to connect it to your computer, now you need make sure that the scanner is compatible with your computer. Here is the checklist I usually run through.Image Capture on macOS or Windows Fax and Scan on Windows. It’s free and it is already installed on your computer. Open it up and try scanning. If you aren’t able to, or would like more scanning features than those provide, move on to the next optionUse the software from your scanner vendor. The easiest way to find this is by typing in “[Name of scanner] scanner driver” into google and finding the page on the scanner vendors website.Use a 3rd party scanning program like VueScan. A very common problem that people run in to is that their scanner is no longer supported by their operating system or vendor. So we created VueScan by reverse engineering old scanner drivers, so that you don’t have to buy a new scanner and can keep using the one you already have.Once you’ve got that sorted out, the next step is doing the actual scan.Turn the scanner on.Open the flatbed lid and placing your document on the glass.Choosing your scanning settings. 300dpi, black and white, PDF is best for scanning documents.Press Scan (no need to preview here)Press SaveThat’s all there is to it!

HP printers have a variety of options like scanning and copying to printing and faxing. Scanners can read any type of 2D image such as photographs or drawings, paintings etc. once if we scan the image it will be automatically send directly to your computer.Step 1: Install the HP software for your printer that came along with the pack. If it is already installed open the program on your computer.Step 2: place the file or drawing on the scanner glass, the scanning side of the paper should face down and make sure the sides of the papers should touch arrow pointing to it.Step 3: Select the logo that’s pulls on the software program that is to be “setting” button.Step 4: Choose the type of the file or drawing you are going to scan.Step 5: Then select Scan document and wait until the printer scans the file.Step 6: Then a pop menu appears where you want to save the document choose the location on your computer like c drive, e drive and hit the OK button.

1. Physically plug your scanner in and turn it on. It can be easy to forget this step, but it’s an important one. If you’re using a WiFi connected scanner, make sure that that you are connected to the same WiFi network as your computer.2. Make sure you have working software. The easiest way to do this is to open up the free scanning software that comes with your operating system (Windows Fax and Scan on Windows, Image Capture on Mac OS X), and press scan. If it doesn’t work, you’ll need to download a driver for your scanner. The best way to find a scanner driver is to type in to google “HP Envy 4500”, replacing the model name of the particular HP scanner that you have. If there is a driver available, download and install it then go back to the free scanning software available. One very common problem is that drivers are no longer available for your scanner. This is because scanner vendors often don’t update their older scanners when new versions of Windows or macOS come out. My company has developed a product called VueScan that solves this problem. We reverse engineer older scanner drivers so that you can continue to use your old scanner instead of having to buy a new one. And if we haven’t reverse engineered it, it might still work with an older driver. You can download and try it with your scanner for free here.3. Select the correct settings. Generally when you scan a photo you want to scan at about 300 dpi and save to JPG. You might also set the exact size of the photo to save time scanning.4. It’s time to scan. Press the scan button and save the resulting photo. From there you can save it on your computer, send it in an email, share it online, etc.
