How Do I Sell Digital Copies Of Videogames On Ebay

Can I sell DVD digital copies on ebay?

Yes, you can sell the DVD digital copies on eBay but you have to keep in mind few things before selling the DVD digital copies which are as follows. You must have to list digital item under the “Everything Else” category.Your listing must be in a classified form and you must state that you are a legal owner of the content or you are an authorized customer to sell the product.

How do I sell digital PS4 games and earn money?

Originally the question had extra content. The person was going to buy a psn account with digital games included. Later the seller would change the password but said the buyer could still access the games. They wanted to know how this works and should they do it.Once they change the password your screwed so why buy from them. You don't keep the games as they're not on your account you can only play them while you have access to that account. That why those companies that do sell accounts give you an account with only that game on and you cant download any other games off it. You are told to not access it again after downloading your game, if you do they shut it down. Just because you have downloaded a game to your console doesn't mean you can keep playing forever otherwise those on disk wouldn't need the disk everytime. The ones you buy and download let you keep playing as you bought the rights, not having access to the account that supplied them means you no longer have the rights.whoever you bought yours off scammed you.

Why do people buy digital games on consoles?

especially on PS4 or Xbox One, you can almost always find the game cheaper used on a disc. even if you live out in a rural area, some online sites like Walmart sells used games online.

i only download digital games on Xbox One if it's free. otherwise, I always but them on disc new or used for resale / trade in value.

especially if it's an older 360 game that works on xbox one via backwards compatibility, i will buy used if it's not a games with gold and almost always get them under $10 at various stores near me.

is it purely for the convenience of downloading digital and not the effort of driving to a local store and checking out prices there?

do you buy disc or digital?

Why do game codes sell so cheap on ebay?

I'm speaking of the never settle deal amd has. I recently bought a new graphics card and it came with two game codes, the current one has three, but in my case what im saying is these games cost 60+ new. Newegg value is something outrageous like 169 dollars which is stupid but Why are they selling less than two for one on ebay and if you can get games two for one why isn't everyone doing it? Does everyone just want a hard copy vs a digital copy? To me a digital copy cannot get damaged is where as a hard copy can get scratched, lost, stolen, why the discrepancy? The games are crysis 3 and bioshock infinite.

Why collect video games?

I have some video games that I love playing such as Resident Evil and Final Fantasy. However there are a lot of games on my shelf right now that I bought because I feared they might be extinct one day. The storyline, the controller, the graphics, everything gone.
However I have been seeing the remakes of a lot of games that I bought a long time ago. Now that I have the remake, there is no point in keeping the older version besides selling it for a lot of money on Ebay or something like that.

Is it wise to collect video games? It seems like there are so many remakes nowadays that video games never die.

Why do people sell game disks that do not work (e.g., on eBay)? Do people actually buy them?

What payment authorizer or website can I sell video game accounts safely? PayPal and eBay seem to only protect tangible goods, and they don't protect against bank charge-backs. It's not against the ToS to sell this particular video game account.

Nobody can protect you from chargebacks. Unless you’re accepting crypto. The best you’re likely to find is going to be a site setup for that particular game with a marketplace of some kind. Like the CSGO skin sites for example.

Is it illegal to download old video games? (ie. NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis)?

It is technically illegal as their copyright still stands for most games. If, you however, own the game in question then download a rom of it, it is a legal gray area. Download emulators themselves isn't illegal though.

To answer the other question, the reason that they still protect their old products (now more than ever,) is because they can repackage it and sell them again. Look at Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time on the 3ds, Chrono Trigger on the 3ds and PSX, Metal Gear Solid on PS3. All 3 are examples of old games that were repackaged with little changes for profit. If people were allowed to download whatever they wanted without consequence then no one would buy the remakes.
