How Do I Send A Thank You Letter To An Interviewer If I Dont Have His Contact Information

Is it alright to ask for the interviewer's contact information on phone interviews?

Yes, but you should probably go with your gut instinct about the situation.
The best thing to do is at the end of the interview, when they ask you if you have any questions, ask them if they know when the hiring decision will be made.  If they give a specific date, ask if you can have their email address so you can check in with them.  If they want you to have it, they will give it to you.  If you feel that the interview did not go well and the person seems eggar to get rid of you, it is probably best to pass and send a thank you note.
As an aside, it is perfectly ok to mail a thank you note to the person who interviewed you.  You should be able to look up the company’s address.  Send it after the interview.  Only a small percentage of people ever send thank you notes, but statistics show the 75% of the people who do the hiring take them into consideration when choosing a future employee.  Any little edge helps.  Good luck!

Should I send a thank you email after an interview if the interviewer didn't give me her contact information? Will she find that creepy since she never gave it to me (and implied that their human resources department would be the one to contact me)?

.   At the end she said that they're still interviewing and that HR would reach out to me about the next step.   I do this sort of thing for a living, and I hate to be the one to tell you this, but that's code for:  You probably aren't going to be selected for this position.  On the off chance that you are we will contact you.   No thanks should be offered at this point in the process, as you describe it, above.     If an interviewer offers you their contact information then you should follow up--with a thank you, and additional questions or information. It's OK to ask for contact information at the close of the interview--if you're subtly refused that's not a good sign, if it's offered, again, follow up...  Digging up someone's email address, when it hasn't been offered to you, will not be thought of as a display of initiative or etiquette.  It will be thought of as what you suggested--a bit creepy..

How do I contact an interviewer post interview if I don't have her email?

Call the main number of the company and tell them that you’ve been trying send a message to Jane Doe and say that you want to confirm the spelling. Then ask ‘The email is jane.doe@companyname.com right?’ and if you’re completely wrong, then they will usually correct you.If you call and then they still won’t give you the email, then send a hard copy letter-I’ve had moments where I interviewed someone and forgot to bring my business card and have gotten a card in the inter-office mail days later. It shows that you are really interested even if the company policy is to not give out email. If you don’t know the interviewer’s name, then you’re probably out of luck and should be searching LinkedIn in the hopes that your interviewer is a member and has a recent picture up so that you can send a thank you note.

For a law firm job, is it ok to send thank you letters to interviewers whom you didn't get a business card/email address if you already sent a thank you email to the interviewer whose email you had?

Yes. For most firms, their email address is publicly available on the firm website. Otherwise, get it from career services if the interview was on-campus, and from the office secretary if it was on-site at the office.Regardless, yes it is appropriate to thank all interviewers. Do one better and ask follow-up questions to engage them, rather than sending a rote thank-you email like all your peers. Don't forget to follow up with anyone else you know or met at the firm.If you have more specific questions, check out the Networking Handbook for Law Students.

Writing the thank you letter after interview?

I just got done with 2 interviews on 2 different days(one is a restaurant, and the other is a home department store)....

My questions are this:
1. Should I send the thank you letter as an actual letter, with an envelope & stamp, or via e-mail?
2. How do I address the recipient? I just know their first names. Can I just say "Dear Hiring Manager"?
3. What is good information to put in the body of the paragraph?
4. How should I close the letter(Sincerely, Thank You, Regards)?

Thank you for taking the time to answer this question.

Thank you letter for job interview. any suggestions?

no it not bad at all they just want you to know that your not the only one they are looking at. But it is a good thing to send a letter thanking them for the interview or a follow up letter.

I would suggest something like this.....

Dear "so-n-so"

I would like to thank you for your time and interview for the medical assistant position. I believe that I would make a great asset to your company and provide proper health care for the children. If a candidate has already been selected for the position and things do not work out to your benefit, please feel free to contact me at the information given below. I will be honored to render my services and expertise for your company for the medical assistant position.

Sincerely,
"your name"
"your profession"
"contact info"

P.S.
I wrote something similar to this and got called in after the person they originally hired quit. You might want to attach a copy of your resume to it will be on hand when they read the letter. Good Luck

Thank you letter for McDonalds Interview?

At the end of your interview a simple, "Thank you very much for your time. I really appreciate everything and I hope to see you in the future" should suffice.

You don't really need to send a card or thank you letter. Generally you would do this with a more professional job.

If you haven't heard back in 3 days, then I would call and say, "I haven't heard back yet regarding the interview I had on Tuesday. I would really like to extend my thanks to Mrs. Smith for her time."

Thank You Letter after a job interview for Pharm Tech Position?

Absolutely send a written format. Thank them for their time, outline how your qualifications meet their needs and how you would be an asset to their company.

Once you send the letter you can then follow up with a phone call in about a week if you've not heard from them. Mention in your letter when you will call them, as recommended by one of the websites.

Personalize it if you can. For example if the interviewer had to leave for his/her child's soccer game mention that you hope they won.

Should you send a thank you email after a phone interview? If so, how soon after the interview?

100% YES  I would send it within a couple hours after the phone interview.  Here's WHY it's a good idea.1) Not everyone will do this so it's an easy way to stand out among other candidates who are interviewing for the exact same position.2) It gives you a chance to display your ability to follow up3) By sending it within a couple hours it displays urgency 4) It confirms your interest level in the position. Sometimes it's hard for the interviewer to tell if you're just kicking the tires or if this is THE position you want.5) It's an opportunity to keep the interviewer engaged after the initial call.It should sound something like this:Dear _____:I wanted to thank you again for your time over the phone today.  After our discussion I feel confident that I would be a great fit for your company and want to reiterate my interest in this position.  I could see myself waking up every day excited to take on this challenge and believe I could be a great asset to the team.If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.  I look forward to hearing from  you soon.  Thanks again and have a great day! As the interviewer, even if I don't respond to the email, I'll make a mental note that this candidate followed up with me right away while the other 5 did not.  Be memorable or you will be forgotten.
