How Do I Stay Strong And Motivated

How can one stay strong, calm, and motivated during the preparations of civils? Especially when there are days when I would have gone crazy trying to remember everything?

Once in your life if you prepare yourself for something which is hard but possible then you will be a stronger person. To prep up for civil examinations is very hard and tedious task. One has to keep lot of patience and perseverance to give 100% in the examinations. Just remember why you have started preparing for it and I don’t think that you prepared it to leave in between. So kick start your preparation with smart study.Right now hard work is important but smart study with good strategy is also important. You need to be strong, calm and motivated during the preparations.Wake up early in the morning and sleep early. Take 6 hours of sleep at least and in the morning do meditation at least for 15 minutes and then yoga. It will keep your mind fresh and body fit. When you wake up prepare a to-do list what you need to do today. List all the topics that you need to cover and manage your time accordingly.Eat healthy and quality food and of course drink lots of water. It will keep your body in balance and help you build an energy.Do some brain exercises to sharpen the memory.Whatever you learn just practice it by writing. You don’t need to learn everything so first make sure what all syllabus is there and what are the important topics. To be adamant and calm you need to be patient and that comes when you believe in yourself that you can do it in one chance only. Take your 1st as the last exam. Give yourself time of 1 year or so and think that in this much time you can do everything.Follow this attitude and you will definitely succeed in it.All the very best! How do soldiers stay motivated?

Well, for starters I'm still getting paid, no sense in worrying about something that hasn't happened yet, if it happens at all, which is doubtful. My family hasn't forgotten about me and I'm looking at my wife right now, so I'm not divorced. If I got divorced, it would be her loss anyway, but I'd wish her luck anyway. I don't want someone that doesn't want me. Here's a newsflash: A majority of Military spouses support their husbands (or wives) 110%, I have two nice cars, a nice house and a great job too (We get to shoot back, it's awesome). The people back home can support us or not, it doesn't matter to us, Soldiers support each other and we don't need spineless, whiny civillians supporting us when they can't even stand up for themselves. You can keep that kind of "support". As for the media, When did they become the subject matter experts on the war? The answer is never. I'd listen the the men and women that live it everyday before some journalist who has never been to Iraq or if they have it was just for a quick story and back to the states. That 19 or 20 year old Infantryman knows more about the war than any journalist or civillian, period. As for the innocent women and children being killed everyday for no reason at all, There's a reason for everything and the reason is that Islamic extremists have used them as a political tool to drum up negative opinions such as yours. In other words the Extremists purposely target the civillians.

What are the best ways to stay strong, motivated, and feel secured even when in the toughest situations?

Hope. Believe. Faith.Even using these words or seeing them give us some sense of positivity.Staying positive isn't meant only during happy moments but more crucial during life challenging situations. I know words are easier said than done but try doing it once and you'll feel a sense of peace in your mind.Anyway, getting stressed or worried during bad times add more to it. So why not try this? Also, many people have proved their worth by staying positive during hard times and thereby changing the situation in their favor.Think how you'd like to change the situation and take charge instead of giving up.

How do you stay motivated, but your depression kicks in strong?

I have gained over 50 lbs because of antipsychotics medication within a period of 6 months. I have lost all my motivation, energy, and concentration to do anything. Right now I can’t even read a book. I don’t know if I’ll be able to work or study again. Yesterday I went to see my family doctor. He told me there is still hope for me. I don’t know if you’re a believer. He told me to hold myself to God. It helps to know that you’re not alone in this world and that someone cares for you. Supernatural interventions are possible and it can change your life if you believe that you can be saved by thinking that there is a superpower.I used to deny this. My old psychiatrist refused to believe in God. She told me it was a belief that didn’t help and tried everything to remove me from the Pentecostal movement. I’m now considering to go back. I’ll give one more chance to God. I hope it’s going to work soon.Stay in touch with your friends. Go visit your family doctor. Someone in high authority that can help you. He also told me to write down on a sheet of paper everything related to my situation so when I see my psychiatrist next week I’ll be able to narrate down everything that happened concisely.
