go to my yahoo mail to check email there is a different sponsored ad there above my email messages and this has become rather extremely irritating and It really angers me a lot every time I see it!!
Which is every day..every day there is a different one!!I have included a photo of what I mean.
I want a effective, simple solution and nothing I would have to install either for fear of infecting my pc!!
Need suggestions. As you can see the sponsored ad is about a 2003 Jeep Wrangler but every day it
is a different one!!!I just want my email inbox to be sponsored ad free and to have more space for
email!!!Help!!..... :(

Should I use my spam email filter? That would take forever cause there are a million ads like this one that will appear day after day!!

Yahoo mail plus is $19.99 a year!!!there are no ads but that is a lot and doesn't seem worth it when yahoo mail regular version is free to use.

Annoying ads called Ad Feedback just started appearing on my Yahoo home page. I am NOT happy.?

These ads appear right below my E-mail inbox. There doesn't seem to be an edit button or anyway to remove them. I don't want to be solicited with ads on my home page- I get enough of that crap everywhere else. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I stop getting spam emails and advertisement emails (Yahoo Mail)?

Spam can get to you in different ways and it’s important to know those to avoid spam as much as possible:you subscribed to some online websites that resell your email address to dodgy marketing companies. Note that this is not illegal in many countries if this behaviour is specified in their terms & conditions (we all know that nobody read them, they know too)you subscribed to some online websites but never read their newsletters - due to a lack of interaction with those emails, the spam checker will think that are unwanted emails, therefore it’ll move them into spam.spammers can generate random email addresses to send emails, sometimes they create yours and you get dangerous emails. The spam checker anyway will protect you putting those into the spam folder. Now, for the 3rd point there is nothing that you can do but trust your email service provider (ESP), in this case Yahoo Mail, that is marking an email as spam for you.For the first two points, you can act in this way:If in your inbox and spam folders you find legitimate newsletters that you are not interested in, take your time to go through them and click on the UNSUBSCRIBE link.(Please, use the unsubscribe link and not the spam button for real companies. Sending them to spam would potentially ruin their business as their reputation will get lower, potentially marking their company as dangerous.)Use filters! - Few people know that modern ESPs give you the possibility to automatically filter and organise incoming emails. For Yahoo Mail, enter your settings and find the section FiltersHere, give a name to your filterSpecify the rules (i.e. if you know a specific email address is used to send you spam, write that address in the “From” field)Select the destination for the email (Delete Items if you want to automatically get rid of the incoming spam)Another useful resource is the Yahoo Mail guideline for spam: Manage spam and mailing lists in Yahoo Mail

Why is Gmail cluttering my inbox with so many Ads?

That is what the people call spam. They are unwanted advertisements that are dumped in to your inbox by spammers.Spammers are like the telemarketers of the email world.. Except they are much, much, more annoying. They will sometimes refer to themselves as marketers, which they technically are because they are marketing something to you in those email ads/spam that you are getting, but they are just spammers.Gmail isn't sending them, so it is not Google's fault. In a way, it's your fault. These spammers buy a list of contacts from a company that collects and sells them. These companies could be one of the sites that asked you for your email address when you signed up for an account with the website. The shady ones will hide the fact that they may sell your contact information to a third party company in the TOS (Terms of Service), and that by continuing with the sign up, you are agreeing to the terms and be contacted by a third party. So, that is why your inbox is flooded with spam.

Why am I getting ads for a gay dating app when I'm not gay?

I second Ellen Wick ‘s observations. Exact targeting is difficult because we marketers sometimes have to make some assumptions based on other things that may be on point 60% of the time but miss the other 40.Of course, our goals are to be as relevant as possible. Because that’s how we get results. This faulty-targeting didn’t start with the Internet though. When I was little in the late 80’s, I always got stuff in the mail for little boys because I have a male sounding name, “Lee”. My baby brother would get advertisements for older people because he had an old-fashioned name for a boy, Simon. Here are the most likely possibilities in your case. You accidentally clicked on a website that catered to the gay crowd. That website put a cookie in your browser that allows them to show you ads on Facebook, other websites, everywhere. Clear your cookies and it may stop. But if this is it, it should stop automatically within a few days. You have an interest that some marketer or business thinks either rightfully or falsely makes you likely to be gay. This could really be anything. A type of food. An exercise. It’s whatever that person decided might help them reach the most people they were trying to reach. If this is it, then it will probably pass. But it may come up again later. Don’t change who you are because of some marketer’s perception of who you are.You might also be able to click the “X” or the “why am I seeing this” on the ad. Then you can tell them that the ad isn’t relevant and you’ll stop seeing it.
