How do I stop session expire in joSAA.nic?
I have filled my choices two days before (24/06/2016).Initially I too faced the same problem twice.A simple idea worked for me.After filling a set of 10 options/choices just click save and proceed. After doing this if the session expired your previously filled choices will be saved and you will not need to fill the options again. In this way I filled more than 100 choices. If you want to rearrange your choices click save and proceed after every small number of changes you made.
How do I stop websites from automatically expiring my session?
Websites you program or websites you visit? The first case. You can configure that kind of things if you read the documentation about the server you are using. In the second case is very subjective. There are sites that expire the sessions past some minutes (banks), weeks (i talk like whatsapp web) or months.. likely social(facebook, twitter).. maybe the option that is very close would be the “remember me” option before you log in the site you want to enter.. if the option is available.

Go to privacy and make sure the level is medium. For Firefox click Tools, then options, at privacy check the cookies options. Some anti virus/spyware may be deleting the cookies Make sure you click "Keep me signed in for 2 weeks" Then don't sign out.
Why do web sessions expire?
It is a matter of security and preservation of identity.First, let's understand what is a session: A session identifies both parties of a transaction and establishes trust. When you log into a website like our mail account or even connect to a database system like Oracle, it identifies (creates a session) you. This is the way it knows it's you that is asking for your emails, for instance, and not some unknown third party. This is done by leaving some token or cookie (or any form of identification) in your machine. But why do it expires, then? Can you just keep this identification and that's it? Why complicate things? The thing is-- this identification has to be transmitted every request, every time you ask for and receives data from the service, which in turn, exposes your identification token to be stolen or tempered with. One of the many ways to deal with that is to expire sessions after some inactivity. The reasoning is simple; expiring sessions prevent someone that might have hijacked your cookie to use it latter against you.Expiring sessions is far from being the ultimate solution, but it does provide some help in keeping the web safe. HTTPS is also fundamental, in order to encrypt your data on transmission.

Yahoo mail app for android "session expired"?
In less than 24 hours after updating the app for Android, it kicked me out and gave me the error "session expired, please sign in again" When I try to sign in it says "Sorry! We are unable to access your account at this time. Please try again later." I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice and followed the troubleshooting steps on Yahoo. My Outlook is still working with Yahoo, and I can log on through firefox fine.
