How Do I Stop The Posts I Make In Groups On Facebook Appear To People Outside The Group

Could someone I blocked see my posts in the same Facebook group we're in?

No, they cannot, they cannot even see your comments. But they can read your unclickable name when someone mentions you in a comment. They will never know what you posted and what people commented on it.

How do I stop my posts in open groups appearing in all my friends' timelines?

Unfortunately, on public groups, anyone on your friends lists can see what you're doing in a group and it will likely get pushed to someone's feed. I found this out the hard way when some old friends added me to a group and we were chatting about old times, only to have random other friends and family start messaging me about it.The only way you have any privacy on these things is if the group is set to Private or Secret (something only a group admin can do), in which case only members can see it.I'm VERY wary of public groups on FB and generally only join them now if it's a professional affiliation and therefore something I wouldn't care if everyone I know read.

Who sees your post in a closed Facebook group?

If you post on a closed FB group, only the members of the group would be able to see it but if you have friends who are part of the group then they may be able to see it and they get notified as well.but if you are a part of a public group any one who comes to your wall can see the post.

How do I hide my posts in Facebook Groups from certain friends?

You can place friends into different categories or lists - the select which lists to publish certain post to. (you can also choose to restrict particular friends from viewing a variety of content - from posts, to viewing other friends, and more)But if you have a peep on your page whom you need to restrict THAT much - you might consider just deleting them all together…

Can I join a Facebook group but keep it hidden from my other friends?

Well, just as everybody here said- if it’s a secret group, non of your friends will see you’re a member. But if the group is not secret, it will be shown on your profile. But if you want to minimize the exposure of you joining the group or commenting in it - you can try to change some of your privacy settings. In the ‘privacy settings and tools’, you can choose specific friends that will not be exposed to your future posts. You can even Unfollow them, that way they won’t see any posts you share.Another thing you can do- is to go into your activity log (on your profile home page), and change the preference from public\only friends to ‘only me’, and what ever you commented about will not be shown to your friends.Hope this was helpful! Good luck :)

How can I stop members from sharing posts outside of a closed Facebook group?

I believe it might be impossible. Despite privacy settings and suchlike, there are always those who love to do their little screenshotting. So even though you can set your privacy high, and prevent the posts being shared, people can screenshot content, and edit the screenshot to remove any unnecessary borders etc. Then that screenshot is theirs to share with whoever they want

Are you able to tag nonmembers in a closed Facebook group where anyone is allowed to add members? What if the option is off and only admins can add members?

In a Closed Group, its possible to tag non members, but they can't see the post. To the person who tags the non member, it appears as though they have successfully tagged their friend. To the members of the Group, we see the non member’s name in gray, so the non member cannot see the post, because the Group is Closed. It's different for a public group. The option to add members is irrelevant, because the admins have to approve new members, unless they set an option to allow members to be automatically approved that are already in one of their linked groups. This is a customizable setting. For instance, I have several groups, and for one or two of the small ones, I waive my normal approval procedures, and allow automatic approval for members from my other larger Groups. Saves a lot of time.

If I am not a member of a public Facebook group, but I see one of the group's post will my name come on the "seen by"?

Being seen withing a group even if you are not a member of that group has always been a feature used by facebook. Up until about 4 weeks ago, approximately January 4 th 2018 if you were not a member of a public group and you entered the group to view a post on that group your presence would be noted and logged for anyone else who visits the group, member or not to see that you have been there. That feature was available on all privacy levels but obviously you would only be able to view a groups posts if the group was in fact a “Public group” .On or about January 4 2018 Facebook changed that somewhat… Yes, groups under a 250 membership still has the log showing who has viewed the posts or the group as a whole but since that date Facebook removed the ability of the group knowing whether or not a non member visited any public group.. Therefore you as a non member could enter a public group , view whatever you wish and never be known that you were there.I do not know why the change came about but I would have to say that I believe the “Seen by “ feature was a very handy tool in knowing who is interested in the group, enough so to visit the posts and how often they would visit the posts within that group. In a world filled with stalkers and such it was a good tool to know who is looking…. Now that being removed it is a feature of security being removed from Facebook groups. Unknown why.

What are some reasons to delete a facebook account?

Well, after permanently deleting your FB account, you can re-activate. Facebook gives you periodic reminders of "Hey, you wanna come back?!" or stuff like that. They make it really really hard for you to permanently make it happen. I have a Facebook and sometimes I just want to delete it. I totally understand that you wanna delete it.

Reasons you should delete it (i STRONGLY recommend it):

-People ALWAYS stalk your profile, day and night. Even when you don't even realize it. Uggh, it's really annoying. I've been stalked before by this girl who probably is just jealous... But yea, you know you're being stalked when someone constantly comments on everything/anything you do.

-There are numerous applications where they send your information to third-party applications. Ex: Farmville

-You can be cyber-bullied on FB. People comment on whether you look good or not, and whether they agree. People just need to keep their comments to themselves.

-Facebook could destroy your social life and is a HUGE addiction. There are millions of people out there, including me, who are addicted to FB and don't do anything but FB. It always takes me hours to complete my HW. Facebook is guilty for everything.

-Privacy is a thing too. Many people de-activate theirs for privacy reasons. But when you're account is deleted, it's no longer visible.

-Literally, like everyone posts lyrics to songs according to their mood. It's soo annoying having to look at the updates and see someone saying "oooh.. My boyfriend broke up with me" and then they sing something like Love Story and You Belong With Me. It's super super annoying! Everyone on FB is just addicted to romance and everyone wants everyone to see that they're "going out with someone" and that their "siblings" are practically ALL of their friends. I mean people need to notice that you just don't lie on stupid questions like that. I mean who has like 200 siblings?? I'm afraid that NO ONE does.

-Facebook is just a place where people talk to people online, and they can say ANYTHING they want. And anything that you say will be open to public,

SO yea, delete your account. Good Idea. :)

Hope I helped! :)

Why isn't there a share button for any posts in my closed group?

Cause you can’t share posts from closed groups. Have you ever come across a post in Facebook where it said “Attachment Not Available” or something similar? That’s because the original post was from a closed group so the content is hidden.
