How Do I Switch To The Iphone 6

Can me and my sister switch phones?

I have an iPhone 6 and she has an iPhone 6 plus. We both are on the same AT&T plan, because our dad pays for our phones. If we take out our SIM cards and switch them would that work? I m assuming we could also have to back up our phones and when we switch clear it somehow and upload our backup from our old phones? Can someone help me with this?

Should I switch to iPhone 7 Plus from iPhone 6S Plus?

You will only miss 2 features ,Better Camera and water proofing.iPhone 7 plus has the best camera of all the iPhones and there is no doubt in that . So if you love photography then you will regret that. The second would be waterproofing, and that is also a feature you can't ignore if you love to swim or if you live at a rainy city.Other than. These two , there isn't much to think about. Apple says that it's 2x more powerful, faster and has more battery than 6S plus but I think it's almost same .So final decision would be yours if you value these features than go for 7 plus if not then save your money for something else.

Should I switch from an iPhone 6s Plus to the new iPhone X Max?

If you want to stick with iPhones, absolutely go for the XS Max as it’s a massive upgrade over the 6S Plus.Everything about it is way better. The screen is a full inch larger, slightly sharper, visibly brighter and noticeably prettier. The speakers are stereo and sound markedly louder, deeper and wider. It has dual cameras and the camera quality is also greatly improved. The performance is vastly superior. The battery life is significantly better. The build quality feels substantially more premium. Even the vibration motor is distinctly more powerful. The only annoyances are the notch and lack of a headphone jack. And there's a learning curve with gestures and Face ID but you'll easily get used to it.

Should I switch from iPhone to Android(Samsung)?

The galaxy s6 has a very smooth OS. You should check out the reviews, not people's biased and unresearched comments. The previous iterations did not have a smooth OS, however Samsung fixed it with this one. It also has a better camera compared to the iPhone because it has optical image stabalization (6 plus has that), has f1.9 aperture and a much better camera processor. If you live in the US, the s6 will have Samsung Pay in summer which allows you to use your phone basically anywhere - from target to your local store that supports credit cards. iPhone is a good phone but the galaxy s6 really trumps it in nearly every department - litterally. Samsung also has ultra power saving mode which means you can have a day's worth of battery with only 10%. Also, get the Galaxy S6, not HTC One M9 or the LG G Flex 2 because Samsung uses exynos processors which are optimized. Snapdragon processors have overheating issues and have to run on low power to prevent it from overheating.

Can I switch my active SIM card from my iPhone 6 to an iPhone 5 and my data and number carries over.?

My iPhone 6 has been acting up and is slowly rejecting a charge so I want to buy a used iPhone 5 and switch my active SIM card into it. I wanted to make sure it works or would I need to go to my carrier and have them do something on there end?

How do I unlock my iPhone to switch from Sprint to AT&T?

To unlock your phone, you should contact Sprint. It has been a rule since August 2014 that the end customer can legally unlock their phone through their carrier, assuming the phone has been sufficiently paid upon or you already own it outright. To learn more about unlocking your phone with Sprint, click here: FAQs about unlocking your Sprint device | Sprint Support. That said, your phone may not work so well with AT&T - AT&T uses a different technology (GSM) for its underlying radio transmissions, and the only thing that might work is the LTE part of the phone, which may work fine if you don’t leave larger cities or highways, but LTE isn’t available everywhere yet and you may not have as much luck if you’re taking a hike somewhere in the boonies.I would go ahead and unlock the phone and then try to sell it on eBay or Craigslist - an unlocked phone tends to go for more money, and then take those proceeds and buy a compatible AT&T phone at the very same place (eBay or Craigslist). Perhaps for the minimum disruption, just buy the AT&T phone first, and then sell the Sprint one.

Is it worth switching from iPhone 6 Plus to Google Pixel 3?

Switching from iOS to android is a bit more complicated than the other way around . You will loose any communication ( like handoff and iMessage ) between devices if you have any other Apple products ( Mac , Apple Watch , and iOS devices ) as that is exclusive to Apple devices . If you have a third party data storage like One Drive , Google drive , and such that are cross platform file sharing apps were your photos and files are then it is better . There is no official way to get iCloud on another device except Apple . You could go to the web version and download your stuff individually though . The Pixel 3 might be a good choice for you if you are aware of these things and are ok with how different the Android system works as opposed to iOS . For some it is better in their opinion and for some iOS is better , it depends on your personal preferences . Personally for the price of the Pixel 3 I would get the iPhone XR or iPhone 8/8 Plus and save me a few dollars .

Is it worth it to switch from iPhone 6 to Galaxy S8? The S8 seems like the better phone, but I am worried about losing all the iOS features (iMessage, iCloud, etc.)

Is it worth it? That's a question only you can answer. However I'll try my best to assist. Consider the following:How important is iMessage to you? Note that if you are in group chats then all members of the group chat will have to delete the entire conversation before any group messages can be sent to your phone. If not, messages will go to the iPhone. I know WhatsApp is not as widely used in the US as elsewhere, but it is a very good service. Try to get your friends to use it. It is cross platform and would be the best iMessage replacement. How important is iCloud? I've never used iOS and I'm not sure if it is possible to transfer data from iCloud to other cloud services. What I do know is that Google offers a cloud service that you will be able to use on the S8. It's called Google Drive. Just note that it is not as seamless as iCloudYou will not get Apple's seamless experience on the Galaxy, or anywhere else for that matter. The closest thing right now to that is Google Pixel. However, if you can get over the loss of Apple's services, you'll absolutely love the S8. There is plenty on that phone. If you've never used a Samsung flagship as of late, you'll be blown away by the screen. You'll never want to go back one you see that beautiful screen. Just be sure to set it to full resolution in settings.Camera will also be an incredible upgrade from iPhone 6. Basically everything will be an upgrade.
