What is the weirdest thing you have seen in someone’s search history?
As a “computer guy” i get a lot of requests to fix friends computers One day I was cleaning up ransom ware on a laptop belonging to a family I knew from church.As I was viewing the Internet history in an attempt it find the original source of the ransom ware. It was easy to tell when the wife was using the computer. I saw pages about fashion, recipes, etc.I noticed a definite switch that must have occurred when the husband “carl” was at home I scrolled through pages of tools, sporting goods then of course porn sites.That in itself is no big deal. I see porn on the vast majority of machines I work on belonging to men AND women. I was about to skim for malware sources when I came across your garden variety stuff, then out of nowhere “Granny porn”Yes they do have that kind of porn. But what truly disturbed me was a fair amount of time on a site featuring bestiality. Though I was only peeking at code and history entries and not the actual, I still waa nauseated.I did delete most of the history and fix their machine, though I stayed cordial I never could quite look at Carl the same way again. I did do a small thing though.I set up a web redirect that would send him to another site if he tried to access the puppy porn again. What was that site? Why the church we both attended of course.They never mentioned that, of course. but they never asked for computer help again.
Is it possible to turn on a laptop camera without turning on the indicator light?
The LED light is supposed to be wired such that if the camera is enabled it should light. However that doesn’t appear to always be the case. It is possible to hack the firmware inside the webcam as well as the driver to turn on the camera without the LED indicator light. So yes, if your computer is hacked it is possible for the webcam to be enabled without the LED lighting. It cannot be remotely enabled without your computer first being infected by malware and controlled by hackers.Apparently, US government intelligence workers cover their webcams with green tape on non-classified computers when not in use. So what’s good for them is good for you. The color of the tape is not relevant.There are nicer solutions to tape such as a super thin stick on frame with a sliding panel. If it’s an external webcam, just unplug it.

I agree with you because I have curly hair that my friends actually say looks cute and I like my tan skin. I've always thought of colored tone as well..unique and beautiful. Especially the way you described yours as the Godiva chocolate, that sounds appealing and it is.(I call mine caramel haha) Usually the racist people say mean things, I've noticed at least, The good-hearted people know that every culture/skin-tone is beautiful in its own way. It doesnt matter the color in the end however, its what matters inside and how one treats others
