SirYou cannot correct the name online,you should approach controller of examination office, produce your certificate and submit your college admit card and any documents they need to correct it or they will give some documents to get it notarized and summit.This is want I know but what is the present prodcure,you have go to office and confirm.Regards .

Hi, I had same experience almost 12 years back and i am surprised still i hear these kind of complaints. After completing my MSc degree, i applied for convocation and paid DD and send it to the university. But no response.I called many times but there were no proper response. So, I went to the university and surprised to see lot of cases similar to mine.The administration staff were rude. The replied to all with same stereo type answerI approach the department head, showed the responses, post office acknowledgement, DD details etc.,Finally, They agreed to send the degree by post, requested them to provide the acknowledgement and status of the degree.After 2 month, i received the degree.If you want to receive the degree,take a one day, goto the university in person, meet department head and explain the status . Dont forget to get the acknowledgement. I know, this is a painful exercise but you dont any chance.I hope, the administration staff will correct their mistakes for atleast next 10 to 20 year.

Now proccess is more simpler.Today i visited APJAKTU formerly UPTU to get my brother’s b.tech Degree (Year 2007)Follow these simple steps and you will get your degree same day.write a application to Controller of Examination that you want your degree.a copy of final year marksheeta copy of provisional (optional)make a payment of INR 500/- to Vijaya Bank located within campus. first you will have to take deposit slip from SS Malik on 1st Floor.write your name in hindi on markesheet copy and take every document to 2nd floor, outside of Mr. J.P Pandey (Controller of Examination) ask for Mr. Gaurav (if not changed). submit all the documents there stating that you need your degree.he will accept your documents and he will ask you to come after 4–5 hour most probably in the evening, and then he will send you to Mr. SS Malik again, there you can collect your degree.
