How Do You Get Better Conditioning And How To Get Motivated

I have low stamina? Soccer conditioning?

I have soccer conditioning and I'm 5"9 and 170 pounds. When I run I can only get one lap around the soccer field than walk. Idk how to pace my self when I go to fast I run out of breath. And when I go little slow my Caths start to hurt. And also what's the best way to breath wile running so I can keep my breath. What can stop me from getting really sore after conditioning?

A2A. When I graduated out of college, we were in quite tight financial conditions. I will not go into the details, because whose condition is bad or good financially, is really relative. A daily wage laborer would probably dream of a life that a middle class family lives. And it will really not be fair to compare people's financial problems. But the fact is, we are a family of 4 and were really struggling to make 2 ends meet in a city like Bangalore a few years back.At that point of time, I cultivated a lot of resentment. I blamed a lot of people. My relatives, my family, God and probably even the government. But this did not benefit me. It backfired. My health worsened. I could not work well enough to support my family. Our finances toppled. That's when I came across a beautiful thought, Yad Bhaavam Tad Bhavati. As you think, so happens. For a person who only blamed others for her situation, this was really difficult to digest. But this is true. The more you blame others, the more you give them your power to shape your destiny. Stop it right there. Start shaping your thoughts. Your inner thoughts reflect your outer reality. The moment you stop thinking about money negatively or from a sense of lack, your situation will improve greatly.Feel gratitude for the small things you have. This is not a feel good statement, but a superpower. Yes, gratitude is a superpower. When you feel gratitude for all the little you have, more comes to you. Its not about just thinking. You have to actually feel gratitude for it to work.I wish you all the best and truckloads of money!

Does operant conditioning as a parenting technique work better on children or on teenagers?

It depends on your goals.  If your goals are to raise a thoughtful, considerate, self-reliant, open, honest, respectful, self-motivated problem-solver, then operant conditioning will not get you there, at any age.  Instead it will destroy any connection, trust, and communication with the adult.  If your goal is long term compliance, it will also not work, as it has no effect on intrinsic motivation, which is partly needed for long term compliance.  If your goal is short-term compliance, then operant conditioning does work under the correct and specific circumstances.  These include concerte, not abstract, demands (such as "sit down" vs. "be nice"), and immediate, not delayed or future, rewards or punishments.  However, if used consistently, a resentment will build in the child toward the adult using the conditioning.  The time between the conditioning and the eventual resentment is longer in children than teenagers, so in this respect, to finally answer your question, operant conditioning is more effective in children than teenagers.  If that's what you want.

Are Aspies more or less sensitive to operant conditioning than most people are?

I'm not motivated to do much of anything?

I am not motivated to do much of anything. I would much rather be in my room on my computer or play video games on my ps3. I'm not motivated to really do much. I would like to be more motivated but I don't know where to start. Whenever I try to do something differently to get motivated and It only lasts for about 2 or 3 days then I lose motivation completely and procrastinate.

I have no motivation in school, or keeping myself up, or doing chores or much of anything. I would like to do more with my life but idk where to start or where to begin. I am just not motivated. It makes me angry/sad that I have no motivation to do anything, it seems all I do is eat and sleep and play video games but idk. I just don't know how to gain motivation. I need a hobby or something but I am no good at anything and I have no idea what my interests are or what I like to do. I have no motive.

IS there like a magical way to help me me gain my motivation back? I am a very lazy person and don't like putting much effort into things and I hate that about myself. I just don't know how to change myself.
