How Do You Like The Song

Why do we like a song?

We enjoy music: When we enjoy the music and forget about the lyrics we just dont feel all alone and sometimes tend to dance. We actually love Good songs that we cannot forget In our whole life.Lyrics explain our current situation: Most of the songs we like or do get touched with are those which had explained the situtions in which we were at the time we were listening to them. For an example, fell in love and started listening love songs, if we are broke we tend to listen to sad songs and we these all times listen to lyrics very carefully.Songs are mood changer: If we try to listen to an energetic song when we are sad we feel better but if we do opposite we overthinks. So we like a song and sometime play it to change our mood because we want to do that at that moment. To explain others how you feel: Most of the songs we like are those we use to explain our feelings or tell others about what we are thinking and can not explain in our words better than the song lyrics. Some songs are connected to someone very special: Some of the songs are related to a person we met in childhood and he/she told we to listen to that song and we really enjoyed it and at present we are missing the person and playing the song. Some of the songs gives you gives you flash of how life used to be in old days.Good music is love forever. :)

What song do you like best?

So I like….Firstly, any song whose LYRICS I can relate to in my life or touch my heart- I pay a lot of attention to lyrics. Good meaningful lyrics instantly attract me. It is fascinating how lyricist play with words to put such meanings and life into a song.Songs that are soft or whose music is addicting- Yes! I love romantic songs even I like sad songs but I am just not a fan of EDM.Songs that are suggested by my favourite people or are of my favourite actor/actress- Often I develop liking for such songs. Maybe it is a kind off Placebo effect !!!Songs that I have grown up listening- Some songs no matter how cheezy they may sound (old 90’s songs)…just put me into flashback mode..my feet automatically start tapping. They make me feel nostalgic as well as surprised too as I realise what was my taste back then. (I have facepalm moments too but still I enjoy them alone :P )A song which reminds me of a place I have visited- Travelling and music go hand-in-hand.Often I associate places I visit with a song according to my mood. And…Nowadays I also like songs which are not at all related to Bollywood/Hollywood- There is so much talent outside the film industry. So many unnoticed singers and composers whose songs are so beautiful that they instantly win your heart. Example : Ankur Tewari, Prateek kuhad any many more. They showcase their original work rather than just creating covers. A Youtube search will lead you there.EDIT 1:Aa Jao by Ankur TiwariTum Badal Gaye by Ankur Tiwari (Full song is on a music app)Tune Kaha- Prateek KuhadTonight by Prateek Kuhad (The Lyrics are just waow)

What do you think about this song?

According to me. The music of the song is average. And it lacks somewhere in lyrics part also. I didn't find that song very effecive. It didn't touched my heart just like the song AAHATAIN of AGNEE and many more of the songs like this. I wish these guys all the very best for their future work.

Do you like the song Hallelujah?

I absolutely love the song. The lyrics are powerful, poignant, and moving.I adore Cohen’s rhymes for hallelujah:“But you don't really care for music, do ya?I love how the lyrics describe what the melody is doing:“It goes like this, a fourth, a fifth, a minor fall, a major lift”I love how the lyrics describe the songwriter meeting the girl, and his joy and utter surrender to her:“She tied you to a kitchen chair, she broke your throne, and she cut your hair, and from your lips she drew that Hallelujah.”I feel the pain when the love ebbs and he recalls how it was when they made love:“Remember when I moved in you, the holy dove was moving too, and every breath we drew was Hallelujah.”But now the love is gone and although only memories remain, he still is grateful for the experience:“And even though it all went wrong, I’ll stand before the Lord of Song with nothing on my lips but Hallelujah.”Truly a masterpiece, and a fitting memorial for an incredible musical talent. Thank you, Mr. Cohen.

What's this song that sounds like 'Changes'?

I checked out that song by Keyshia Cole but the one I'm talking about is much more similar to the Tupac one. The beginning is almost identical. I belive it's by a male singer. It's possible that it's a Dutch song I'm looking for, as I live in Holland and it's been playing on the radio over here. The song is in english though. I wish I memorized like a sentence or a phrase from it so i could use google.

Why do people like the song Havana?

Havana," which Cabello co-wrote with Pharrell Williams, among others, is connecting regardless of geography. Timing also appears to be helping the laid-back track. "'Havana' is the perfect ease-back-out-of-summer-tempo record for us," says Radio Disney GM Phil Guerini; the channel played it 60 times in the week ending Sept. 17. "And, while some may view this song as a departure from Camila's previous singles, many more will hopefully hear it as a return to her Latin roots, perfectly timed to benefit from the recent resurgence of that music to the mainstream.Havana" is a mid-tempo track, and lyrically finds the singer embracing her Cuban heritage.watch the above video,it is cover of this song beautifully sung.

What does people like most in a song: the music, lyrics or both?

For me its the melody of the song which activates emotions in your brain. No matter it has lyrics or not. Very few songs’ lyrics are worth listening or else they distract the listener and finally no one appreciates the melody of the song. I mostly listen to Soundtracks (Movie/Television/Game Soundtracks) or sometimes Orchestral performance to completely enjoy them. Also I listen to Blues, Rap, Classics, Pop, Electronica, Drum n Bass.Melody isn’t the music only, there are a lot of things involved like chords, notes, riffs, progression, pace etc. In simple word a good song with a catchy melody will give you goosebumps. It does!
