How Do You Look Up User Names On Ebay

How do you choose a good eBay store name?

A2AWhat do you sell? The name of the store could be related to your product. I sell jewelry, so my store name is “Buy My Jewels”. It could also be related to the time of the year, or holiday, something like “White Christmas” or “the Christmas treasures.”

EBay UserName Ideas, Please ?? 10 Points to the Best Answer! (:?

Ok. So I am [probably] going to make an eBay account.
So, I am starting to think of a great username / business name idea.

I know several of you would probably disagree with this,
But I am going to be selling a wide variety of items --
Not just a single type of item, like many recommend.

Anyways, I need a username that doesn't have to do with
just one type of category.

I was thinking about a name that makes my business sound
nice / welcoming / friendly / happy.

Maybe a name like InfiniteHappiness, but it's taken, &&
I don't want numbers in the name.. && I want it to be one-of-a-kind,
and unique.

Any ideas?

** Best answer gets 10 points + I will become a fan of
theirs if I like the ideas (Please list more than 1 idea!)

Thank you so much.

Have a nice day.

Why do certain bidders on eBay have ** (asterisks) in their names?

It's a NEW FEATURE on EBAY as I do a lot, 522+ feedback going back almost 10 years to Nov 1998 and was taught long ago how to "SNIPE" meaning a last minute bid just before auction ending.

Anyway before the ** (asterisks) was in place, say if there was an item I wanted and hoped to win via SNIPING. Then with research I would first want to use EBAY's completed items search to know the price history on lowest sold price etc as well as checking retail sources for non-EBAY brand new purchase in order to know how much I was willing to pay. At the time EBAY advanced features also allowed me to check my competition and fellow bidders if there was a possible sniper in the crowd as well as what else he/she might have bidded in recent auctions for similar or the exact same item. With that great inside info, well let's say I knew how much I would need to bid to beat other interested buyers so in many ways the asterisks eliminates such loopholes.

Hope the Above Info Helps and Enjoy EBAY!

Is it safe to sell on eBay?

eBay has evolved to what it is today partly thanks to the fact that they created a safe marketplace, both for seller and buyers.eBay has multiple fraud detection systems in place to insure that sellers and buyers are not ripped off.Now for the practical side of things:I'll try to give some actionable advice so you will minimize your risk when selling computer hardware:1. Write the most accurate possible description, don't give buyers an excuse to open disputes over inaccuracy of the product description.2. take detailed images, makes sure that your buyer understand what they are buying, a clear understanding of what you buy minimizes the risk for disputes.3. even if the items you are selling are not expensive (let's say less than $50), always, but ALWAYS use a fully tractable courier system, this will minimize the chance that buyers will claim that they have not received the goods.4. to continue the previous point, make sure you ship only to the address mentioned on paypal, that's the only way that paypal will take your side in case the customer claims he did not receive it (and you can prove that he signed for it...with the online tracking system).5. You can block shipping option to certain countries that you fill are more risky, it will limit your customer base a bit but it will make the sale safer.PS if you find my answer useful, please Upvote :) Happy to advise further

How do i ask an ebay seller to tag his photos for me?

I have never considered the lack of a username in a photo to mean that the photo is not "legit". If someone wants to scam you, it's a simple enough matter to photoshop their name into a stock image. I wouldn't consider that proof of anything.

My criteria for deciding whether a seller is trustworthy is to look at their feedback. I look at the percentage, the number of sales they've had, and the length of time they've been a seller. I don't hold anything against them if they choose to use a stock photo.

If you must convince the seller to do this, then simply say "I would like to see a photo of this item with your user name in the photo". They should understand that.

My ex is selling my stuff on Ebay.?

Call the cops. If he took your stuff and is selling it, it's illegal and you could get him arrested.
