WordPad on Window's XP.?

Okay. I use my WordPad a lot and suddenly it's been acting wierd. Before it used to stop at the seven mark then go to the next line. It goes passed it and the side to side bar gets smaller and smaller. When I put Print Preview the sentences are cutoff. How do i fix it? I've tried going to Print Set Up but nothings working.

How do you download fonts to wordpad?

Very easy just go to

http://font-styles.com

or similar free font site.

download the font you want and copy it to your

C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\

folder.

or open your control panel (start button then control panel) and open the font folder there.

They are the same folder.

You need to then restart wordpad.

no reboot is required. 100% sure

Good luck

How do you save documents from wordpad to a USB Drive?

First, save the file either as a DOC, TXT or RTF file. Wordpad accepts any of these formats. XP as a default option saves it in RTF format. Once saved.

Go where the wordpad file is located usually My Documents. Select the file by left clicking on it and then right click on it. A context menu will appear. You will then select copy on the context menu. Then open My Computer and insert your usb drive. A new drive pops up and that is the removable drive. Open that drive. You will then press right-click and then on the context menu select paste by left-clicking on paste. The file will then be transferred to your usb device.

How do you make a hanging indent on Wordpad?

I need to make hanging indent for a bibliography. In word, you open up "paragraph" then "special" and pick "hanging indent," but when I go to "paragraph" in wordpad I don't see an option for that. What can I enter to make a standard hanging indent? I believe I have a version from around 2010-2011 ish, possibly later.

How do I stop Word from double spacing every time I hit enter? How do I make single-spacing after enter the default?

Check your paragraph settings.  Highlight the document (CTRL + A to select everything) and go to HOME and open the Paragraph dialog box (see image).  Check the Line Spacing settings / reduce to "single" from the menu.  If desired, click 'Set As Default' to change the permanent options for all new documents you create in the future.  Hope this helps/

You have to copy and paste this. There's no keyboard shortcut that I could find to create this.
