How Do You Size And Print A Label Exact Measurements To Glue Onto The Digital Control Panel Of A

How do you crop a digital picture down to 4x6?

If your camera is a typical point and shoot you really can't do that without cropping. Most point and shoot cameras do not use a 3:2 aspect ratio like 35mm cameras or most digital SLR cameras do. A 4x6 inch print lines up perfectly with a 3:2 aspect ratio. P&S cameras use a 4:3 aspect ratio. Resizing the print will not change the aspect ratio without cropping of the photo. If you want to use 4x6 inch paper what you need to do is either crop the photo to fit or print it at its native size and trim off the white space. Print size for a 4:3 camera would be 4.5x6 or 7.5x10. If you print 5x7 photos you will have much less cropping than 4x6.

Does higher DPI mean a better quality print? &where can I get professional prints?

OK Forget everything anyone has ever told you about megapixels, dpi, resolution, maximum print sizes and everything else. Especially if that information is coming from a salesman in a store. Most of it is crap. Let's start from a clean slate. In truth digital images have no resolution. They only have pixels. The quality of an image is measured by the physical dimensions of the image in Pixels. Changing the dpi of a digital image is NOT possible. DPI is the print resolution. You can only change the ppi with an image editor. However, changing the ppi only means changing the output resolution of a file. It has no impact whatsoever on the quality (image dimensions) of an actual digital image unless you also resample the image. If you resample an image to make it bigger, the quality is not improved, and your files will become huge. So it's an utterly pointless exercise, so don't do it!! If you have a 12 or 10 megapixel camera, you could quite easily use the images to make poster size prints. I know, because I have done it many times!!!! Just make sure you give the printer the maximum size image file your camera is capable of producing. Modern photo printing equipment can easily handle any rescaling for you. You have to remember no one views large prints close up. The bigger the image the further we usually have to stand back to see it - which means the resolution problem is more or less irrelevant. 300 dpi is the usual printer resolution for litho printing (for high quality magazines and publications), but you could quite easily get away with using 200ppi images - I know this because I used to be a graphic designer in the pre press department of a large lithographic printing business. 300 dpi is total overkill for a large poster, I have used images as low as 120ppi and it's still been acceptable.

How can I print a picture to the exact size that I need?

1. Open your image in Photoshop.
2. Choose the crop tool (shortcut: c).
3. In the option bar on top, type in width: "0.625 in" and height: "0.5 in". For resolution it should be 300 pixels/inch (ppi).
4. Click and drag on your picture to choose the crop you want.
5. When happy, press return. Your image is now exactly the size you want.

Tip: You probably want to make it slightly larger than your intended size, just to make it easier to cut out later when fitting it into the locket.

To fit them both on the same document:
1. Make both images the correct size.
2. Make a new image (file->new) with a size large enough for both (e.g. 3x3 inches, with 300 pixels/inch resolution).
3. For each of the images, go to select->all. Then edit->copy. And paste into the new image.
4. Use the Move tool to position them (first tool from the top).

What do I use to glue the back of finished puzzle and frame it?

I've never glued a puzzle, but I have seen puzzle glue. It is usually sold right next to the puzzles. Or you can probably get it at any art supply store. Read the label, but I believe you just brush it on over the top of the puzzle, and it will dry clear. You could probably slide a piece of paper under the puzzle around the edges to keep any glue off of your table/floor. But I don't think you actually need to glue anything to the back. I suppose once the top layer of glue is dry you could try to flip over the puzzle and glue the back as well. If you can't find a frame the exact size of your puzzle, you can get a custom frame. They also sell framing kits where you just buy the side pieces (sold in virtually any size) and put them together with a screwdriver. Then you can go to a hardware store and get a piece of plexiglass cut to size for glazing.

How can I tell the size of a drill bit?

If you need a quick reference, use a ruler or tape measure. If you plan on keeping them, either get a drill index as someone previously mentioned, or get a caliper as someone else also previously mentioned. If you don't know someone that has calipers and decide to buy one, I would recommend a 6" dial caliper. You can measure inside and outside dimensions, and down into holes, cracks, etc with the rod part. Try to find one that has fractional and decimal increments, and I always try to find the plastic ones. That is because I use one on a daily basis (I do custom woodworking), and the metal ones are too heavy to carry on me along with my other tools and measuring devices (I have a shop apron). And if you don't plan on using a caliper often, avoid the digital ones because by the time you probably need to use it again, the battery will be dead. Measure the bit on the shank (the opposite end of the tip, where there are no grooves) to determine the size. Once you know the exact measurements of the bits, you can drill holes in a piece of wood to store them. Make a label of paper or a label maker, etc., and label the block of wood. Someone else mentioned this, and it is great because your bits are handy and readily accessible. Or go to some yard/garage sales, or maybe thrift stores if you want a cheap ol' bit box. Or try ebay or something similar if you want a case. A tip for drilling in wood is to always drill the hole the size of the screw shank or a hair smaller. This insures that you get a good bite with the screw thread. Have fun drilling!

Is Taiwan considered a developed country?

Perhaps because Taiwan is not universally recognised as a country - because of the One China policy on part of both Taiwan and China. This would mean that many of the international statisticians might not display Taiwan in their list of countries. Looking at the Wiki page for nominal GDP, CIA and IMF list Taiwan as a country, but UN and World Bank omit it. And yes, looking at per capita nominal GDP, Taiwan would rank 34th, and by per capita PPP GDP it would rank 19th.Hong Kong, like Macau, is a part of China with some autonomy (special administrative regions). Even prior to 1997 HK was a British Colony.Taiwan has sovereignty issues - China lays a claim on it, and Taiwan does not assert itself against China any more. Both of them claim to be the real China. And there can be only One China, and both PRC China and ROC Taiwan claim to be it.In 1971, Republic of China (ROC Taiwan) was ejected from the UN and replaced by Peoples Republic of China (PRC China - mainland) - including the Security Council Seat[1].There are diplomatic missions of Taiwan around the world[2]with bonafide embassies in just dozen or two small countries: List of diplomatic missions of Taiwan. US - the staunchest and most powerful ally of Taiwan - ceased recognizing Taiwan as a nation as of 1979! However to this day US is in support of the Taiwanese cause.Footnotes[1] Oct. 25, 1971 | People's Republic of China In, Taiwan Out, at U.N.[2] ROC Embassies and Missions Abroad

I want to start a business but I don't have money. What do I do?

Few years ago, I was asking the same question to myself and here is what I observed-' Yes, money is needed to do any business, it's impossible to do business without money for an Investor but not for an Entrepreneur.’The easiest business to start without money is a business in service industry. Here are some of the doubts which often strike our mind before such business-I don't have any technical skills for which I could charge people.Without money, how would I market myself? How would I increase my customer base?I can't afford an office. Here is the plan-Objective- I want to start a catering business.Step 1- Catering Services are really expensive and it would be difficult to increase customer base on my own because of other credible competitors, so, I must join the best possible Catering firm as an Operations and Sales Manager and work there for 1.5–2 years to enhance my skills and establish my name and personal relations in the industry which would help me to increase customer base.Step 2- After working for just 2–3 years I won't be able to save funds for purchasing my catering stock and even if I purchased, it would become obsolete in an year because of highly dynamic market. So, for every function I'm going to get stock on rent and whenever it's possible I would purchase some second hand stock which is not to be displayed and is just used in kitchen or somewhere else like Oven (Tandoor), cooking utensils etc.Step 3- Primary functions will be possible because of my experience and name in industry and later I can afford to rent a shop or office.Step 4- This business model is viable because later I can add other services to it eg. Wedding Planning, Matrimony etc.NOTE: This is not gonna be a cake walk but it's possible with Understanding, Confidence and Patience (as it might take 3–5 years to become a well established business)This was just one way to make you stand apart from the crowd but there are thousands of ways for those who dare to desireYou can start a immigration business in places like Punjab(India) or Hyderabad (India), You can sell products online without maintaing stock (Just tie up with the local sellers), You can do much more, just believe yourself. All the best(Request:- If you like it please upvote, follow and mail Chirag Gupta, it would work as motivation for me. Thanks)

How do find out the size of a layer in photoshop?

When you are in Photoshop, just click on the image and hit IMAGE, image size (or canvas size) to view the actual size. If the image has multiple layers, and you want to know the size of a specific layer, click on it and then hit CTRL+T - it will be selected and resizable if you want. If you do not want to resize, you can click on ANALYSIS - then "Measuring Tool" to measure it yourself right there. I wish there was an easier way...:)
