How Do You Switch Between Email Accounts I Have Two In Yahoo.

How to switch between two email accounts in Outlook 2003?"?

If you have configured Microsoft Outlook® 2003 for multiple e-mail accounts, you can choose which e-mail account you want to send each piece of mail from, and you can do it directly from within the mail message.
1) On the File menu, point to New, and then click Mail Message. 2) On the Accounts menu, click the account from which you would like to send your mail.

The account you have set as default appears first in the list. Note: To set an account as default, go to Tools>E-mail accounts>View or change existing account, choose the account youwant to set as default then click on Set as Default

How can I have two Yahoo email accounts open at the same time?

Yes....I do it often...

First...at least MOST of the time you will need a different browser for each time you do this....IE: Internet explorer...Firefox....Google Chrome, etc

After first signing in to your first account click on the MINUS sign in the upper right corner of your screen...This will knock it down to the bottom taskbar...your desktop will be showing at this time....open up a different browser and log back in as you did the first time....once in to the other account you can go back and forth by clicking on the MINUS sign or the boxes that are in the bottom taskbar....good luck

NOTE: Please remember to pick a best answer by clicking on the THUMBS UP at the end of the answer you choose.....thanx

How do I unmerge two yahoo email accounts?

Hover over the far right gear icon in Yahoo mail and then click "mail options".
Then click "mail accounts" in left column.

Select the account and delete it.

Note that I am referring to a separate account. If you added a second address to the same account it can't be separated.

For example when Yahoo just notified people that the wish list accounts were available they gave a choice of the same account or a separate account. Once done it can't be changed.

How to find and recover old yahoo email accounts?

Do you close accounts due to inactivity?
Yes!. Accounts are deactivated and removed after four months of no use.

When an account is deactivated, you won't be able to access it, regardless of whether or not email has been received in the account during that time.

And sorry, but we can't retrieve any of the information that was formerly stored in it.

Note: With Mail Plus, your account will never go dormant due to inactivity. Check it out!

I can't remember my Yahoo! ID (user name). Help!
Your Yahoo! ID is usually the first part of your Yahoo! Mail address. For example, if your Yahoo! Mail address is person@yahoo.com, your Yahoo! ID is "person."

If you can't remember your Yahoo! ID, you can try logging in using any of your other Yahoo! profiles, as long as they're part of the same Yahoo! account.

For example, if you know you've got a profile called "chatperson" that you use in Yahoo! Chat, you could log in to Yahoo! Mail using your "chatperson" profile and your password. This logs you in to your Yahoo! Mail account, and you'll then be able to see your Yahoo! Mail address at the top of your Inbox.

You can also use the Sign-In Problems page to find your Yahoo! ID. To get there, click the "Forget your ID or password?" link on the login page. You'll be asked your birthdate and ZIP code or country. Then we'll request the alternate email you provided when you set up the account, so we can send you the information there

Can you have your email account open in two places at once (simultaneously) on Yahoo? How does that work?

Yea. In my experience if you are logged into yahoo and open another IE window and log in again it will let you on the same computer but you can't log into a different yahoo account at the same time. If say I were logged into account A and then opened another IE window and logged into account B you'll run into the issue of yahoo automatically diverting you to the current open account, account A. You can be logged into the same account in two different IE windows on the same PC but if you do it on two different PCs yahoo will intervene because it is a security issue. it's impossible for one person to be in two different places at the same time so when yahoo get pings from two different IP addresses which all computers have it will warn you or block you. But like the previous responder said, you can do it in different browsers for example there is Internet explorer but you can download safari beta or other free browsers. Then you can log into different accounts from the same home page one in each browser.

Why should someone switch from Yahoo! Mail to Gmail?

One of the major reasons is yahoo being hacked so often. Here is an article on yahoo being hacked most recently which will help you out!Yahoo Hacked: 500 Million Users At Risk! - ED | The Youth BlogHacking web giants is nothing now. It happens every second month, data is lost, people are suspected and if you don’t find people then you suspect North Korea, useless words and threats are thrown around and then another hacking happens and so the cycle continues. But it looks like Yahoo tried real hard to break the cycle by doing something no web giant could have ever imagined to do, truly path breaking actions done on the part of Yahoo. They let Yahoo be hacked!Yahoo officials confirmed that the website has suffered a massive data, probably the biggest cyber breach ever. The breach has affected over 500 million user accounts. Their personal information, addresses may have been stolen. Yahoo is yet to confirm the extent of the breach because apparently, ‘they suspect’ that other Yahoo services like Tumblr, Flickr and Fantasy Football might be affected too.Funnily enough, Yahoo officials in an attempt to save their own skin said that it was a state-sponsored act and the breach had existed since 2014.For two years Yahoo was hacked and they didn’t even know about it. They suspect personal information is stolen, I say, I am sure personal information is stolen and now Yahoo to save its dignity (if it has any left) the theft becomes state sponsored. In its latest statement Yahoo confirmed that a singular breach existed since 2014 but they were able to trace it in August this year when another breach surfaced!Damage ControlSince the harm is already done Yahoo will simply reset all its passwords and work closely with Cyber Law Enforcement to prevent any further loss. It’s a trying time for Yahoo. After going through enormous economic loss, CEO Meyers was hoping for a change of fortunes but the breach has just darkened the situation for Yahoo.
