Got my AFOQT results back, any good?
I want to do something with electrical engineering in officer school (I have a b.s. in electrical and computer engineering technology). Here are my results: Pilot - 87 Navigator - 97 Academic Aptitude - 93 Verbal - 86 Quantitative - 91 I don't like have the verbal below a 90, but are these scores pretty good? I was told I needed a 150 min to really be considered for officer school. Not sure how to figure to get 150, but I hope I did well enough.
How healthy are these blood test results?
Fasting glucose: 91 HbA1c: 4.8 Total cholesterol: 196 LDL: 116 HDL: 60 Triglycerides: 96 The doctor said that the numbers were "good", but I've found that doctors really just look to see if it's acceptable or cause for further investigation. When it's good, they don't tell you HOW good. So I'm wondering it myself. Are they just acceptable? Good? Excellent? Can you infer from these numbers to what extent I'm experiencing insulin resistance, if at all? 26 year old physically active male. Healthy weight, healthy diet. No health problems. Some heart disease and diabetes runs in my family.
Is 60% a good result in the board exams?
Again the answer will be with respect to whome.For example a 80 percent student will says its bad but believe me a friend of mine who scored 59.9 in board would consider it "the best thing not only good" .Why? Because he was not able to sit in TCS or any career based company during the campus drive.He would have easily cleared the exam as he was smart and was good at coding .I have many other examples too who are brilliant student but are filtered out because they couldn t secure 60 percent .So 60 percent will you get through the filter but my due mate you need to compensate that with a lot of knowledge and skill at what you are doing now.Thank You
Do your test results reflect how good your teachers are?
Not usually. They might be related to teacher quality if tests are conducted at the beginning and at the end of the year and the difference is what gets reported. But what's more often the case is only one set of scores is reported and people draw conclusions based on that snapshot. That's like looking at a sequoia and a bamboo shoot and saying the sequoia must be a faster grower because it is taller than the bamboo at this moment in time.
How good was your 12 result as a science student?
I gave CBSE class 12 board exam in 2014. I got 91.8% as aggregate and 94.5% in best of four. The detailed result wasChemistry - 95English - 95Mathematics - 94Physics - 94Physical Education - 81
What apps are good to control your results in running?
Get a Garmin and use Garmin Connect it's awesome. I love looking back at my old stats from when I first started running and track my progress to where I am today. I actually now use Running and Cycling GPS Tracker, Performance Analytics, Maps, Clubs and Competition also as it includes more collaborative features that garmin does not (although they are catching up).

Is a low negative number, such as -6%, a good or bad result for percent error in a chem lab?
It all depends on the experiment you're doing, but I'd say that it would be a good experimental error. The negative sign just means that your experimental value is less than the theoretical value.
