How I Joint Photo Groups In Flickr

What are some good websites to get quality feedback on photos?

Oh man, It’s been a long while since I’ve been through the process, but I used to check out Critique Corner, photography-on-the.net and very seldom ModelMayhem.com - Serious CritiqueOn these kinds of sites, you’re mostly going to get crappy feedback, especially the latter (sorry MM). Self righteous photographers will go on and on about following the rules, completely ignoring the fact that an image has soul and emotion. They often post examples of their own work that is outdated, irrelevant, and just boring. Oh yeah, you got your rule of thirds going for ya, but that’s about it.I know that sounds harsh. I’m getting cranky in my old age. :)It can’t hurt to check out the first link and go through the feedback left for others. You’ll get a sense of what to expect. There are those that will give genuinely good advice and opinion. Here are some others I have no experience with:Photo Critique | SLR LoungePhoto Critique, Photography Tips and Techniques by ProfessionalsPhotography CritiqueJust know that I am really hesitant about critiques from these kinds of communities. There are a couple of different schools of critique. The “That’s an amazing shot! Keep up the great work”Where everything is always positive and amazingThe “You should crop above the joints, your composition needs work, lower left shoulder and bring model’s chin up slightly, put weight on back leg, rotate hips”Full of technical arroganceThe “I suggest you redo the shoot again, in a different location and better lighting”Does not offer suggestionsThe “Kudos, great expression and great model”Canned answerThe “This is a great shot. I might suggest lowering the horizon slightly and cropping a little tighter but overall I like it. I’d also tone down the HDR a tad but that’s a matter of personal preference. Color balance looks a little on the green side on my monitor. Is yours calibrated?”Gives encouragement and constructive critiqueIdeally, something closer to #5 would be the most valuable. #2 guy is helpful if you can look past the profile that exclaims “Been shooting for 30+ years, Internationally published, Award Winning…”So funny to read those.∞

Which is the best photos joining app?

There are two types of joining:Joining images to form a panoramaStacking images to form a Trails or long exposure effect. If you are concern with how to make panoramas using any app, I will suggest you to go with Adobe Lightroom. It has an inbuild feature to merge/join images to form a panorama. If you want to make star trails, milky water effect, etc photographs by stacking one photo over other, I will suggest you to go with StarStaX software. I have used this for many a times and I have ended up with great results.Follow this link to see the images stacked in StarStaX:Nitish Agrawal on Instagram: “Startrails Part-2. This was an amazing night with my friend @shubham.meshram.27. We set the camera on tripod and went for eating. After we…”You can find these software setup easily on internet.I hope this may help you to do what you were planning to.Thanks!!

Is it safe to weld RSJ "T" and "X" joints ?

My builder has fitted a 5 metre 8" x 8" RSJ to reduce the bounce in an upstairs floor. He has then cut out sections from the top and bottom on both sides of the vertical to accommodate 8 x 8 RSJ's welded at right angles, forming a "X". I am concerned about the safety of this method of joining RSJ's particularly as the welds were made in situ and there appears to be no fusion at many point with the top (closest to floor above) not welded at all. Further, is it o.k. for the other end one of the "X" steels to be butted into an in-use chimney brest rather than the external wall and the other other "X" steel (approx 1 metre long) to have no support at the other end..

How does the stock Photos iOS app upload photos to Facebook without having Facebook installed on the phone?

It uses what is called an API, which stands for application programming interface. To understand an API, think of a team of people building a custom house. They certainly don't build everything from scratch:They don't grow the trees and cut them down to make the wooden planksThey don't forge metal to make the pipes for the plumbingThey don't have furnaces to make tiles or glass out of clay or sand. They don't design or manufacture furnaces.Instead, they buy premade parts that they assemble together to make the house. The fact that the house is custom means that the result is unique, but it's a unique combination of generic parts.Well, software is a bit like that as well. Programmers don't write all of their software from scratch; they reuse software that other people have written, and write new, custom pieces to connect to it.The pre-written standard parts in software are called libraries, frameworks, services and a few other names. An API is the rules that define how to use these standard parts. To continue the analogy, if plumbing pipes and joints are the parts, their API is their diameter and thread—the aspects of it that govern how you connect them to other parts.

What is the most recently developed popular graphic format?

I'm going to have to go with PNG for raster and SVG for vector. PNG has been around since 1996, but only in the last few years does it seem to be gaining more and more popularity. SVG's first appearence was in 2001, and has been slowing gaining more and more popularity as a vector format ever since.
