How Is A Court Case Conducted When Suing

What does commited mean in court here.?

The word "commited" actually is never used. Glad to help.

Can you sue the family law court?

The answer is “yes,” but it is very difficult to do. I know this because for a brief period of my career I was assigned to represent the superior court in such cases. I handled cases in which the superior court was sued and most often it was for some ruling or action that the litigant disagreed with. In those cases, I was always able to obtain dismissal based on judicial immunity. Judicial immunity protects the individual decision-making of judges as we don’t want our judges worried that if they rule against one party they will face a lawsuit. Bright v. Gallia County (“The specter of facing a lawsuit naturally encourages overly timid judging and presents a direct threat to judicial independence.”)But there are constitutional cases that can be brought against superior court judges. For example, in ODonnell v. Harris County, the plaintiffs have brought suit against the individual Harris County judges alleging that the judges violate the constitutional rights of indigent defendants when setting bail. Although the judges do not face potential monetary damages, the federal court could (and the lower court did[1] ) find that the judges acted unconstitutionally. In sum, you can’t prevail in a suit against a judge for a decision the judge made in an individual case, but if a judge or judges are engaged in an unconstitutional policy, you might be able to prevail in a suit to enjoin (stop) the practice.Footnotes[1] Judge in Houston Strikes Down Harris County’s Bail System

Can I sue Sprint in my local small claims court, or do I have to file with the court where Sprint incorporate?

I've been trying for 8 mos to get them to correct a billing issue where their customer svc. people agrees that it's their fault. Each time I call I'm on the phone for at least 1 1/2 hours. It's going to the point where going to court is the best way to resolve the issue at once.

Can I sue my neurologist for medical neglect?

I would like to know if I have grounds to sue her and the EMG doctor.

I'm a 27 yr. old woman. No major illnesses etc. About 3 yrs. ago I developed fasiculation (twitches) all over my body BUT i refused to seek medical treatment mostly because i was afraid. Anyway the twitches got worse and my left leg was weak. So, in March of this year i finally went to a neurologist. She immediately said that she suspected a motor neuron disease. I was baffled. She sent me for multiple blood tests all negative. Then for an EMG test (needles in the muscles etc). The test was done by another doctor.

Well.. When i got my results she said that the emg showed decreaed nerve velocity. She looked at my and my husband and said "i think you have ALS". You can imagine my devastation! I had to take prescribed xanax that first day just to get through the day. Anyway, after multiple MRI's and more blood work she said that i need to go to an ALS clinic to confirm the diagnosis.

All this took 3 months of tests, fear, agony, counseling, xanax, i was diagnosed with depression, my life became a wreck!!! I have a toddler! This was pure hell.

Anyway at the ALS clinic the EMG was done by an ALS specialist and he immediately ruled out everything! He said that my test was done wrong the first time and he said that there was no reason to suspect ALS at all!!!

Shock, depression, confusion, anxiety has troubled me since... I can't even begin to describe the roller coaster of emotions.

I didn't deserve it

A cop pointed a gun at me. Can I sue?

There was this cop in my neighborhood that stopped this little kid on the sidewalk, and then I saw him slam the kid to the side of the police car, and then proceeded to cuff him.

I walked out of my house with a baseball bat and ball in my hand, and walked towards the officer. I asked him if he wanted to play baseball, and he pointed his gun at me and said to drop the bat.

I dropped everything, and then he arrested me for making a threat, which was a misdemeanor. I went to court and got the charges dropped, but want to sue the police for threatening me with a firearm since asking to play baseball isn't a threat.
