How Is Life Different From Drama

What are the differences between drama and theatre?

A quick answer. Drama is a genre, “theatre” encompasses everything and anything that happens upon a stage for the entertainment, edification, education and enjoyment of an audience.Drama usually refers to a piece of fiction presented in the form of a play in which actors take on a number of roles and act out the author’s piece. It can be written in prose or poetry, and is considered a poetic form. However, it needs actors to flesh out the playwright’s words, unlike poetry which can be enjoyed quietly by a reader.Theatre, on the other hand, can refer to mime, dance, opera, circus, musical, cabaret, etc. Thus drama is a form of theatre, rather than the other way around.

I have too much drama in my life....?

Sounds like you might be better off living without your family. Breathe....believe me if that is all I had to worry about and was able to switch places I would in a heart beat. I lost my fiancee. It will be two years Jan 30,2007. I live with two 17 yr olds, 15 yr old, 14 yr old not stop chaos. I live with my bf in his house and trying like heck to make this relationship work but, just can not find a way to break through and find a happy medium for us. Who knows.. maybe I do not want a relationship...but, he is the same guy that I loved and he is still here but... just have to dig him back out.... I have no vehicle right now it has to be repaired...and not to mention my eyesight deteriorates more and more cause the insurance will not cover what is needed so soon I will have to rely on SSD for supporting me...Sorry... just wanted you to know kinda what my life is like so you could see life is easier to deal with when your problems are not as bad as someone else's. Smile and live life to the fullest you never know when it will end in an instant. Hope things get better for you.

Difference between dramas and real life ?

Real life is typically far less exciting, and, unsurprisingly, dramatic than TV dramas. Unlike the constant stream of interesting occurrences on popular television shows, life consists mostly of dull, indistinguishable, ordinary moments.

How do you block out drama in your life?

Get yourself involved in a project; work in you community, help out a friend, or do something simple like build a bird house. There is truly no way to block out drama, just suppress it, or get away from it for 20 minutes a day. Keep yourself busy, and focus on the non-drama filled part of your life. :)

What are some big differences between court drama in the movies, and the real life court system?

I don't think real judges allow lawyers to browbeat witnesses. The objective of the process is to get the evidence onto the record, not to have a big dramatic shouting match. The movies usually depict the judge as practically impotent in the face of some handsome, charismatic, passionate prosecutor or defense attorney. In reality, the judge is absolutely the boss and won't put up with abusive behavior or histrionics. The trials I have attended have been long, slow, quiet proceedings that just methodically went through getting it all on the record.
