How Long Does 15mg Of Oxycodone Stay In Your System After Smoking Them

How long after my last dose of oxycodone is it safe to have a glass of wine or a cocktail?

Seven hours is enough time. But just in general, if you are opiate-naive you need to watch it, alcohol + opiates impairs your judgement pretty bad. I always have a few drinks to potentiate the opiate high, but from what I can tell I am definitely in the minority. Alcohol and APAP together is bad for your liver, but if you are careful it is not really a problem. Here are Pill_head's rules:1) No more than 2000 mg APAP total.2) No alcohol for at least 1 hour after your last dose of opiate.3) No more than 1 drink per hour, especially hard liquor. I've been doing that for months and never had any issues. How long does Oxycodone stay in your system [Updated 2018] - Carenician

How long does oxycodone stay in your system?

There are a number of factors that can affect how long oxycodone can stay in your urine. There are different ways to check and detect the presence of oxycodone in your system. It takes 24 hours for some rough blood test as well as other tests. The saliva test usually takes more than one day and can extend to the fact of four days. The urine test can take place in three or four days and the most authentic as well as prolong stay is in the hair, where the test can take place even after 90 days.A recent research was conducted by a group of 12 healthy people who were given 20 mg dose each in the form of two tablets. All the candidates were drug free and normal with any allergies. The dose was divided into two tablets of 10 mg hydrocodone with 325 mg acetaminophen. The basic aim of this research was to study the stay of this drug in the body in all four sections of saliva, blood, urine and hair. The results were surprisingly amazing. The result showed that in blood both hydrocodone and oxycodone can remain for 15-30 minutes. And this time period is not just reduced to blood but saliva also has these drugs for the same time period. The presence in the urine took almost 2 hours. The detection range test was also taken which showed that it can be detected in blood and saliva for almost 35-50 hours. But the urine test took the longest for 50 hours.

How long can small dosage of percocet stay in your system?

I have a drug test in two days from walmart. I know the half life for oxycodone is 3-4.5 hours, So with in a day it should all be out of my system. I've done my research all over the net and found that the half life is 3 - 4.5. I asked my pharmacist if that was true, he said yes. That i should be fine. So if i took 15 mg about 5 hours later, 7. 5 mg would be left in my body. I also talked with another pharmacy technician and he told me metabolism and weight do not matter at all. It's all about half life. I just need a second opinion, from anybody that is fluent in this category. I don't want answers from people that think they know.

How long after taking suboxone can you take opiates? Why is that waiting period recommended?

You can take opiates right after taking your suboxone dose but of course it will block the new opiate depending on the dose of suboxone you are on and how long you have been taking it.  Less than 4 mg of suboxone does not do a great job of blocking so you should be able to feel the opiate (assuming a stronger opiate like Oxycodone or Hydrocodone) almost fully 12 hours after your last suboxone dose that was less than 4mg.  If you are planning on slipping up though I must remind you how easy it is to fall back into that money & life draining addiction that requires you to does every 4 hours and completely takes over your life.  Also please don't forget that when you do finally want to go back on Suboxone how extremely hard it is.  Remember that means waiting over 24 hours from your last dose of the other opiate or you risk going into full precipitated agonizing withdrawal that will not go away no matter how much suboxone or of the new opiate you take until it runs its course.  Also keep in mind that if you do wait longer than 24 hours and do somehow avoid precipitated withdrawal you are more than likely going to feel crappy for a few days going back on the suboxone, goose bumps, chills, diarrhea, sweaty & depression........Hopefully you decide to stay on the suboxone that more than likely gave you your life back by now.

How can you safely inject 15 mg of Oxycodone?

If it's a pill, you can't. Pills contain filler material that destroys blood vessels throughout your body and clogs arteries. Think about it, you're putting pill garbage inside your blood. It doesn't take too many to kill you.Find a better way to get high. Smoke it, hit it with a hammer and snort it, do anything. Don't inject pills unless you want to die a horrible death.

Can you inject oxycodone/acetaminophen 10/325mg?

Do you mean can you grind a tablet of oxycodone/acetaminophen into powder, add water & inject the results intravenously? Not unless you are willing to risk a blood clot large enough to kill you or result in limb loss. Or an extremely painful case of thrombophlebitis. Grinding & injecting tablets meant for oral administration means injecting things meant to keep a tablet together & add bulk for oral administration directly into your veins. In a word, yuck. Please do not do this.

Why does smoking cigarettes help with my anxiety?

Cigarettes contain nicotine.  Nicotine is an addictive but effective calming agent on the brain.  So smoking literally tranquilizes you while you’re using.  To make it even worse those nice folks at the tobacco companies add other chemicals to make nicotine both more effective as a mind-altering substance and also more addictive.  That explains why nicotine patches are not highly effective in helping people quit smoking, they replace the nicotine but not the other chemicals.  However, there are less scary parts of the equation.  Handling and orally manipulating the cigarette gives you a set of focusses to take your mind off anxiety stimulating stimuli.  It takes your mind off the situation.I would suggest (and this is just a suggestion) that you find a better form of tranquilization.  My grandfather smoked from the time he was seven (his older brothers thought it was cute to see a seven year old puffing away) and he ended up tied to an oxygen generator, died of a heart attack brought on by a lack of oxygen to the heart.  Currently, my best friend was a chain-smoker.  He didn’t stop—though he tried—until he spent three years in a nursing home, now he’s tied by a fifty foot hose to an oxygen generator.  The town where we live is subject to occasional power black-outs.  When one of those happens he has three hours of battery power on his walk-around unit to get to a site that has both an oxygen system and a power generator.  Also since he has COPD-4, a needed surgery can’t be performed.  This is not a stop smoking or else paragraph, but be aware of the risks.Hope this helpsJeff

Is it safe to mix Oxycodone and alcohol?

No, it's not safe. First of all, just taking 6 10/500's alone could seriously damage your liver. The maximum DAILY dose of acetaminophen is 4 grams. You would be taking 3 grams in one shot. That alone would do a serious number on you, but combine that with alcohol and your low bodyweight, and liver damage becomes very likely.

Also, 60mg of oxycodone could very well be too much for your body to handle even as a habitual opiate user. I know you have previous experience with opiates, but you cannot reliably predict what your tolerance will be like with oxycodone if you are not a regular user of that particular drug.

Assuming your liver makes it, potentially fatal respiratory depression is also very likely just from 60mg if it is too much for your body. Add alcohol, and again, the chances go way up. You could also pass out, vomit and asphyxiate. Wouldn't that be a great way for your loved ones to find you?

If you insist on taking these, I would suggest you do a cold water extraction (google it) to get rid of the Tylenol, and don't pop 60 mg your first time. The few times I have done these, 10-15mg produced a nice buzz for me, a non-regular opiate user with no tolerance, and I am 235 pounds. You may not get the buzz you want, but would you rather go into a coma because you were greedy? This is why drug addicts die - they cannot stand to "waste" their drugs by getting anything less than the desired effect.

I would also not take any alcohol with these no matter how much you take, because really, you are increasing the risk by a huge amount for very little reward. Oxycodone is nice enough on its own without boosting it with other substances. If you must do something else, smoke a little (keyword a little) pot.

Long story short, there is no clear line between "you will die" and "you will not die" when it comes to drug use, but by taking 60mg of oxy, 3 grams of tylenol, and finishing it off with alcohol, you are putting yourself into "serious risk of death or permanent damage" territory.

Please use your head here.
