How Long Does It Take For The Body To Enter

How Long Does It Take For Water To Pass Though Your Body And Enter Your Bladder?

It depends on how much "watery or thirsty" your system is. If you are fully dehydrated, none will reach the bladder, till the services from the water are fully extracted- ie. cleaning, replenishing the blood, brain, eyes, etc.
If a man drinks a water sample rich in "T2O"[tritium is radioactive, emitting beta rays] , its route in our system can be traced through a 'counter'. It is seen that, it reaches brain in 3-4 hours, while the bladder in 2.5- 4 hrs.
Now a parallel experiment with radio sugar, and radio salt showed that salt is faster than sugar. If you have access to radio samples & a proper counter, the tracing of 'speeds' of drugs, foods, etc in our body can be done as a hobby.
The results given above are from an old Russian book on radioactivity & isotopes - sorry , i do not remember the author, publisher etc.. , as i read it in the 1960's. More recent studies may be available from 'net'

How long does it take your body to enter "starvation mode?"?

To get optimum results when working out, you need to balance calorie burn vs calorie intake, otherwise you either gain weight or you burn muscle. Eat too much? You gain bulky muscle or just fat since your body didn't use the calories. Eat too little, and your body enters starvation mode since you are at too large of a deficit of calories.

Does anyone know how long it takes roughly for your body to realize you are starving it slightly? I am a pretty muscular guy, but I put on some weight after my wedding. I used to do P90X and consumed roughly 3k calories a day. It was what the program had me eating and I lost 28 pounds doing it. Granted in P90X workouts I was burning roughly 900-1k calories per workout, so it worked.

My question is, how large of a calorie deficit can you give yourself before your body gets upset? My average workout now is around 500-600 calories (Less time consuming as P90X). Since it was 900-1k before, and I had 3k consumed before, should I just kick my diet back to around 2400-2500 calories? It would still be about a 500 calorie deficit from consumed vs burned.

Also, if you do go into starvation mode, how long does it take you to get out of it? I have heard of people doing a process called "carb cycling" or just "calorie cycling." Effectively, you eat very little and workout very hard for a week. Then you eat proper calories for a week. Then you eat little for a week, etc. Its to maximize your metabolism burn rate. Keeping your body at a large calorie deficit without letting it ever enter starvation mode.

Any thoughts?

How long does it take for herpes to actually enter the body?

For those people who do show symptoms, common manifestations can be the formation of blisters in the genital area, on both sides of the area where the genital ulcers can be found lining the cervical wall of the vagina and the urethral area of the penis. Symptoms that accompany this can be body malaise, pain on the joints and tenderness felt on the lymph nodes in the groin area, where a palpable pea like swelling can become pronounced.

What normally prompts carriers to see accurate STD testing is when the active phase of the blister formation in the genital area sets in. These blisters normally explode and form scabs on the surface of the skin resembling a decaying chafe on the surface of the penis or vagina, as the sores inside the lining of the genitals degenerate the penis and vagina secrete an odorous discharge as a result. The sores heal after but an onset of second emergence happens normally within seven days of the first batch of blisters healing. This cycle continues for two to three weeks.
Accurate STD testing is easily attained by visiting a private STD testing center that can provide rapid STD testing with a simple blood test or a swab to determine the kind of sexually transmitted disease. This will provide your health practitioner with the right diagnosis and proper treatment management to help you address the infection and gain back your health.

How long does water take to go through the human body?

As usual, I have a contrary view of this question. It is my supposition the the water that leaves your body after drinking water is not the same water. It is different water as the “new” enters the individuals cells and causes the existing water there loaded with the waste products of metabolism, chiefly creatinine and BUN (Blood Urea Nitrogen) to exit still bearing those wastes (i.e. they are locked to them). So you drank 2 liters of water, you urinated out 1.75 liters. You lost 0.25 liters from active sweating, insensible vapor loss thru the skin surfaces and a small amount exhaled as a moisture from the lungs. These fluids would be all old water as the pressure gradient goes from less waste product bearing to most bearing waste productSounds right to me.

How does water enter and leave the body?

The digestive tract and the urinary systems are principally the important players in maintaining water and electrolyte balance within the body. We take water in by mouth in food and drink, along with electrolytes. We excrete water through urine and feces. Also, a significant amount of water is lost through "insensible losses" by sweating and breathing.

While sweating and breathing do shed water, it's the kidneys that are most responsible for ridding the body of water. The kidneys filter the blood, and, by a complex series of "counter-current exchange systems," can produce very dilute urine or very concentrated urine. When your urine is clear and frequent, you are well hydrated. When you are dehydrated, the kidneys save water, and produce very little urine... urine that is dark yellow and highly concentrated.

How long does it take for medicaiton to enter your bloodstream?

Most all meds take 20-30 minutes if it is in pill form, injections enter the bloodstream immediately after injection, it just takes a few minutes to circulate throughout the body. If however, you have a digestive disorder that keep pills from dissolving properly like I do, it is better to take liquids or injections. As far as your second question, that would depend on the time between when you took the medication and when they draw the blood and it has to be ordered for the lab tech to test for a specific drug, they don't just routinely test for what all drugs are in your system, it has to be ordered by the Dr to test for it.

How long does it take for nutrients to take effect on our body?

Let’s think about the human digestive system for a moment. It can take up to 2 days for food you eat to come out the other end. That whole long journey is a process for absorbing nutrients for the body. From the stomach to rectum your body is able to absorb things from food (which is why suppositories work). However we also have to think both about the nature of the nutrients and the nature of the effect on our body. Eg, we are not just asking how long does protein take to get into the body, but how long before it takes to start building muscle. At one extreme even looking at fatty and sugary food will make our body start the process of converting blood sugars into fat. Our body is reactive to what we eat, anticipating changes.Generally speaking though, it is considered that having a regular balanced diet is going to mean the nutrients we need are available at all times. The trend that we should say protein straight after exercising is really unfounded. It would be better to have eaten protein the day before. However some nutrients, such as glucose, can move into the blood stream very quickly, which is why sports like tennis, where you can eat during a match, sees tennis players chomping down on bananas between sets.

How long does it take the average fit person to enter into a state of ketosis?

Three days. I might add this is from observing my dad attempt low-carb diets for years. I think it is great to kickstart massive weight-loss, but if you aren't in grave danger - colorful veges, lean meats and healthy carbs like brown rice and sweet potato - is a much healthier, effective form of weightloss. Depriving yourself is just no fun and  - like the rest of life -  balance is key to success. I have never seen anyone stay successful long-term on a low carb diet, and they aren't very happy whilst they're on it.The recommendation is to have a good ratio of calories, 40-50% Carbs, 25-35% protein, 20-30% fat. Under 2500 mg of sodium and over 25 grams of fiber. But yes three days.

How long does it take to make it to heaven after you die?

This is a tough question, but as best I have been able to ascertain, its pretty much immediately that you CAN regain consciousness of your surroundings, but while in the next realm.

There are complications however. If you die after a long debilitating illness, many of these folks do not awaken immediately, and will awaken in a spirit hospital. Also, where you awake will vary, and its even possible to awaken in the astral plane, rather than the spirit spheres. Some folks have transitioned so fast, ie in the case of an auto accident, that they did not realise they were dead for quite some time.

There was also a complication for those that absolutely insist there is no life after death. You see many of them here on Answers. These are the "hard cases" and it has been the practice to only waken them in batches, every 1,000 years. However I have heard that that practice is no longer the case. But if you are interested in reading about what were called "sleeping survivors" you can read about one case in "Letters from The Light." I personally think its rather amusing that this did/could happen to those that are so adamant there is no life after death, that they are almost given that choice, with others being awakened immediately.

How long does it take the body to shut down when the organs start to fail?

You may as well have asked, “How long is a piece of string?”The answer depends totally upon each individual case where someone is experiencing organ failures. Some patients live for years with slowly progressing multiple organ failure and either cross a “no-return” threshold after which everything starts to go wrong very rapidly, and some manage to recover and live near-normal lives. In early 1985 my cousin started to suffer heart failure. By late 1986 he was on the heart transplant waiting list and was starting to experience kidney failure and his lungs were failing due to congestion. But a few months later in the Spring of 1987 he received a heart transplant at Papworth Hospital and today is a very fit and healthy 55 years old, probably fitter than I am now at 53, and he’s now one of the world’s longest surviving heart transplant recipients. His organ failures totally reversed although he was so ill before the transplant that the surgery almost didn’t occur but the team took the gamble because the donor heart didn’t match anyone else on the waiting list who was more likely to benefit. At the opposite extreme my sister was bitten by a tick in 2015. Despite quickly and correctly removing it the wound became infected and within days she had sepsis. Multiple organs started to fail and she died five days after being bitten. Her medical team was superb, but it was her kidneys which first started to fail, and the treatment for those overloaded her liver. That was then treated but caused a blood clot to block an artery supplying her small intestines and a section of that became necrotic. Operating to to remove that section and to fit a temporary stoma was successful but almost immediately afterwards she had a heart attack and then an immediately fatal stroke during treatment for that. For those of us lucky enough to grow old, multiple organs start failing and can slowly continue to progress for many years before the patient is even aware of anything more than normal old age where everything slows down, takes longer to heal, and where mystery pains come and go each day. If they don’t end up dying of the most common causes (cancer, heart attack or stroke) or of a sudden acute illness such a flu, then the organ failure is what ends things.
