How Long Does It Take Nvc National Visa Center To Schedule You An Appointment After They

National Visa Center interview question?

1. At the interview do they just interview the beneficiary or also the petitioner?
2. What kind of question do they ask?
3. Do they get to intimate?

my sister was telling me that at the interview they will ask intimate question like a "Does your wife/husband have a beauty mark on her/his butt?"
That kind of questions just to know if our marriage is legit.
And the thing is that I wouldn't know because we have never been together because we are trying to stay virgin until the day we get marry by the church.

National Visa Center?

Hi. My case was send to the NVC on January 18 2017. I have already paid my AOS fee and I know I have to send it by mail along with other documents. But I read that you normally get a package from NVC. Is this true? I just got the welcome letter in my e-mail. Should I wait a little longer because when I sign in in the NVC website it doesn t tell my to pay another fee. And my AOS says PAID...(I paid last week) Should I just send the AOS and my supporting documents and then when its available pay the other fee?? If anybody can give me their opinion or experience it would be highly appreciated..

How long does NVC process approved petition?

the approval date isn't really what matters. the file date is the main thing here. Sounds like your husband is the beneficiary of an F4 sibling of an American citizen petition. At the moment, it currently takes those petitions, for Filipino citizens, 23 years from the time they are filed before they are valid for use. According to the Visa Bulletin, available to you at http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bullet... only petitions for Filipinos filed on or before 1 Sep 1987 are valid for use, or current. I doubt your son will be eligible by then. among other things, he'd have to remain single for the entire time.

Approved I-130 and questions?

The "crap" is a favor you are asking the U.S. government for. Immigration is not a right, but a privilege, and at a time where 25 million Americans are either out of work or underemployed you are asking your fellow Americans to import a foreigner just because you have been unable or unwilling to find a suitable spouse among the 312 million people who are already living in the U.S.
So I suggest you turn it down a notch and appreciate that you are even able to serve as a personal immigration portal. Be assured, if the American people could vote on immigration, you'd be moving to your husband's country.

Now that we have that out of the way, NVC will contact you regarding the Affidavit of Support, form I-864. Only after this has been taken care of, they will mail the entire package to the US consulate in your husband's country of residence. The consulate will ask for a birth certificate, marriage certificate, police records from every place he ever lived, a comprehensive medical, and eventually will schedule an interview where they try to find out if your marriage is bona fide and whether he is eligible to immigrate to the United States.

The entire CR-1/IR-1 process takes anywhere from 8 to 12 months.
