How Long Does It Take To Paint The Exterior Of A 2600 Sq Ft House

How do I calculate the cost for painting my house?

3 things are required to calculate cost.Labour ChargeMaterials CostArea Measurement.1st scenario : If you are hiring a painter to paint your 2 BHK(800 soft) house.a) It’ll take about 2 persons and 4 days to complete. Therefore you can say the cost is 2 X 4 X 1000(labour charge for 10 + yr exp painter) = 8,000 Rsb) Material charge = Paintable area for 2bhk 800sqft house is 1760sqft. This cost can range between 5,000 to 20,000 depending on the paint.Total cost = 8,000 + 5,000 = 13,000( low cost scenario) | 8,000 + 20,000 = 28,000 (premium scenario)2nd scenario : Outsource it to a painting contractor. Your headache of dealing with blue collared workers is removed. No hassle. These guys usually charge per-sqft. This includes material and labour cost. Here at Unplan(www.unplan.in), these are the prices :Tractor Emulsion - Rs 7 Per SqftPremium Emulsion - Rs 10 Per SqftRoyale - Rs 14 Per SqftThere you go!!All you need to know is the area of the wall to be painted. If its 1760 Sqft, then the rates are:Tractor Emulsion : 7 X 1760 = Rs 12,320Premium Emulsion : 10 X 1760 = Rs 17,760Royale : 14 X 1760 = Rs 24,640

How long does it take to paint the exterior of a 2600 sq ft house?

The real time and effort it takes to paint the exterior is prep work. That alone can take several days depending on the need of stucco patching and sanding, filling and putty of trim. The time could be a few of days or as long as several weeks. Also to do it right are your going to primer coat which will add a day. It will also depend on the type of sprayer you use. It will take a whole lot longer if you try and use a cheap Wagner low pressure sprayer vs. a professional sprayer.

I've painted a house in a day with a good crew of 6 just using rollers and brushes.

Cost to paint exterior of a 1125 sq ft home. Stucco outside.?

Accurate pricing is highly subjective and area dependant, but you can use these as averages:

Pressure washing - $0.25 - $0.75 per square foot

Surface painting - $0.30 - $0.40 per square foot

Trim/moulding - $0.70 - $1.30 per square foot

If the finishes are sprayed on, pricing should be 15%-30% less.

Add cost of preferred paint to the above labor figures.

Good luck...

How much would it cost to paint a 1,500 square foot house?

It will cost not more than Rs. 5000/- to paint 1500 Sq.ft house. My below cost suggest only interior painting and not exteriorRaw-material:Emulsion paint :This is the good moving material quality in market because of its standard quality at affordable price. This quality is premium than distemper and slightly downer side than royal emulsion due to luster effect. But there is a huge cost difference between emulsion paint and royal emulsion. Though cost is huge difference, quality don’t make much difference.White putty:Prefer birla white putty to cover needle holes, wall peel off etc.. valuate required quantity. If only needle holed, just 1kg is sufficient. It may exceed to more if more wall peel-off.One or two sand paper - Use to rub walls to eliminate strains and level uneven surface.Color: Buy color strainer or mix color at retail shop while buying paint material. I suggest you to mix the color at retail shop to avoid manual coloring mistakes. Most of the retailers are equipped with computerized color mixer.Retailers are equipped with color cards, Hence collect the color card and spell the color code to retailer for mixing.Labor : Acquiring skilled labors are tedious task for end consumers, as skilled labors are not easily available to access. Hence we choose contractors which observes maximum cost. Be wise on choosing labors because labors are crucial park to deliver better out come.If you have any questions, Please reach us pgnproperties@gmail.com or call us +91–9742479020 (Also available on whats app). Is there a quick equation to figure how much area for painting walls using height of walls (12ft), and sq ft of living space (3000sq ft)? I can multiply them, but is this the right thing to do?

In general, you can't do this, because there isn't a direct connection between the area of the room and the length of its walls. The volume of paint you need is determined by the surface area of the walls, and if the height is a constant then this reduces to calculating the length of the walls. (Area=length times height)In theory, your 3,000 square foot room could be 3,000 feet long and 1 foot wide, and the surface area of the long walls would be 72,024 square feet. Or it could be circular, with a radius of 30 feet, and only 200 feet of wall for a total of (about) 2,400 square feet of wall surface.Since most rooms are going to be roughly squarish, you can approximate the length by using the square root of the area. If it's a 3,000 square foot room, then the walls will be approximately sqrt(3000)=55 feet. For four walls, that's 220 feet. If you used 36 gallons, that works out to roughly 1/6 gallon per linear foot. That's actually probably a little high. If we assume you have 6 rooms, each 500 square feet, then each wall is 22 feet long, a total of 88 linear feet per room, or 528 linear feet for all six rooms. That works out to 1/15 gallon per foot.  A better answer is probably somewhere between the two. There are all rough measures, giving factor-of-two approximations. It's best to buy more paint than you need. The best thing to do would be to measure the lengths of the walls, and then round up because running out of paint in the middle is bad.
