How Long Does Orientation For The Sams Club Grocer Position Last And What Should I Expect

What would you wear to a job orientation, or training?

Question: What would you wear to a job orientation, or training?Actually, the only person that can really answer this would be your recruiter. Ask to find out what expected dress code is for orientation. In many of my jobs, had I shown up in a suit to orientation I would have been way over dressed. Business casual was actually a bit too formal as well. The corporate culture will determine the expected attire as well the global location.Finance, banking, and consulting are typically semi formal or business attire here in the US. East Coast US vs. West Coast US will also mean that the dress code definition will be different. EC business casual is VERY different than what you would find in LA or San Francisco.   So, to sum up: ask your recruiter or new manager what the expected attire will be for orientation. This is a completely appropriate question and is likely well received.

How do I become an airline pilot if I don't have much money?

I am going to answer this honestly, but did not think I would ever answer a question this way but this is life:I meet a Lap (actually a box) dancer in such a club, in Montreal, when I was there on a 2 week course.I managed to speak to one of the girls (a big NO NO, - NO TOUCH , NO Chatting) and asked her why she was doing, what she was.Her answer; she wanted to become an airline pilot. She had time to explain she made very good money, reasonably quickly, for doing nothing more than taking her cloths off. She was saving the money and would have enough after a year or two to train and gain her PPL, (Private Pilots Licence) and then go for an ATPL (Air Transport Pilots Licence) and be on her way to her dream .The young lady was highly intelligent and switched on. Completely threw me. Her personality, Intelligence and general demeanor left me in no doubt that she knew what she wanted and how to achieve it. And, that given some favorable Luck, she would do it.I would not suggest that Lap dancing is a good way to become an Airline Pilot; but this is a TRUE story and one I firmly believe had a successful outcome, and demonstrates at least one way to attempt to achieve the Objective. Though this example, I must admit, is more relevant to the Fairer Sex (but not necessarily only). It does show that where there is a will there is a way. With a good amount of good fortune along the way, it can be achieved.I honestly think she made it. I know she had the strength of mind and intelligence to do so.I certainly changed my perspective on several levels. This answer does address the finance side as opposed to the method. At ATPL she would need to find a sponsor or company to work for, but I would not think she would have had too much problem there either.

How long after someone is fired can they be rehired at the same place?

That depends on the company and the reason for being fired. Companies may have explicit policies for re-hiring terminated employees or it may be a subjective process. Either way there’s no guarantee that an employer will take an employee back after any amount of time has passed. If the reason for termination was due to downsizing or layoff then a former employee might have a decent chance of getting rehired when the company is in better financial shape. However, the timeline for that is unpredictable. In fact the company may never get back on its feet.If the employee was fired for performance reasons then I’d expect the employee would have to demonstrate how they’ve changed since being terminated. Was there some personal situation that has since been remedied? Has the employee received additional training or education? Have they demonstrated a strong record of employment at another company? A company is less likely to rehire a poor performer than someone they had to let go because of downsizing. Still, if the employee has demonstrated some form of progress they might take them back. How long it would take to get rehired would depend largely on how long it takes the employee to demonstrate a significant change in circumstances. If the termination occurred due to criminal activity, an ethical lapse or because of intentional actions that brought serious harm to the company then the most likely answer is “never.”

How is the Walmart assessment test?

It has been quite a few years since I took an assessment test with Walmart. However, here are a few things that I recall:You will be asked a series of questions. The general idea of the questions will repeat several times but will be asked in a slightly different way. You need to pay attention and make sure that you maintain the same answer for the question each time it’s asked. They do this to try to catch people lying about their ethics. The questions are answered on a scale of 1 to 5. DO NOT be wishy-washy about your answers. A bunch of 3s will fail you. They are looking for people with solid decision-making skills. Also, there are a lot of questions about ethics, they expect strong feelings (1 or 5) about those issues. When answering the questions, think in terms of “what does Walmart expect” instead of “how do I actually feel.”Talk to your favorite ASM about the test. If you are a good associate, who deserves to be promoted, they will help you get there. If you are taking the ASM assessment, and fail, talk to your Store Manager. It is possible to still get promoted even if you fail the assessment. Walmart recognizes that some people just don’t test well. The assessment is a little tedious but it certainly isn’t hard. If you don’t pass it, don’t beat yourself up too much. Some very smart people never pass it.I hope this helps. Good luck!

If you are an employee at Walmart, do you get a discount at Sam's Club?

Speaking from experience working at the Membership Desk at Sam’s club last November - December. The only discount you get is a discount on your Sam’s Club membership. What you have to do is go talk to the HR manager at your (Walmart) store and request the Sam’s Club membership. It’s not completely free, but it will be a significant discount and they’ll just take a small percentage of your paycheck to pay for it instead of you having to pay up front.
