How do i get a period stain off a mattress?

Hydrogen Peroxide is the only saving solution that I know of. Not only does it take stains (blood) out, it also takes out odor.
On top of it all, it dries relatively quickly.

Can bed bugs live on an air mattress?

Technically, bed bugs can live nearly anywhere humans sleep. They hide when they’re not feeding though. If the air mattress isn’t moved, they may hide underneath it but more than likely they’re going to hide in baseboards, electrical outlets, and anywhere it’s dark and difficult to access but close to a human blood meal.If you have bed bugs and want to keep them away I’d recommend sprinkling Diatomaceous earth all around where the mattress is placed. This product will dry out and kill bed bugs that crawl through it. You’ll also want to spray the entire mattress with an indoor pesticide that contains Pyrethrin or Pyrethroids. Boric Acid also works similarly to Diatomaceous Earth.

Which Ikea mattress should I buy?

The primary difference between spring beds of different prices is the amount of material on top. An Ikea bed will have the bare minimum so it's important to put good quality mattress pads and mattress covers on it before putting on the sheets. Good thing is that most mattress pads and covers are washable while a mattress isn't. Another difference is that the traditional spring mattress has a steel rod around the rim of the mattress holding the springs in and giving you support on the edge of the mattress so you don't slide off the mattress when sitting on the edge. Ikea spring mattresses have a foam frame around the edge to hold the springs in. Basically they are more of a hybrid between foam and spring. Good thing about that is they can bend so you can use adjustable slats where you can raise the head or foot of the bed like with medical beds but at a fraction of the price. Ikea have a large range of foam beds too. Keep in mind that foam beds are like giant sponges and you sweat out up to 1 litre of sweat each night, the foam beds will absorb any that your sheets, mattress cover and mattress pads don't absorb but the foam mattresses can't be washed. A spring mattress is mostly empty air and the thin layer of material can be cleaned with a steam cleaner.

Ikea has a 25 year warranty on their mattresses and gives you one exchange in the first 90 days.

Most other mattresses will have warranties ranging from 7 years, 10 years and maybe 20 years prorated but will only exchange them at delivery if they are the wrong size. Also if you don't buy the boxsprings from them, they only give you a 1 year warranty. The box springs are really just rough wood crudely nailed together and covered with a thin fabric. If you pull off the fabric, you'll see that it's the same wood and construction as warehouse pallets. They charge about $180 for a boxspring and it's about $1 in materials. Of course a traditional spring mattress is about $13 in materials and they charge about $500 for them. With Ikea, there's no negotiating on the price but with other mattress vendors, you can negotiate or wait for a sale. Consumers Report says to not pay more than 50% on a mattress given that they are so frequently on sale and the markup is so high on them.

The mattress can be ignored in your room and you do not need to store them after use.One reason why many people are opting to get an air mattress instead of the spring or foam mattress tradition is the ability to customize the firmness of the bed.
