How Many Conservatives Actually Believe Hillary Will Win The Democratic Nomination

Was Hillary Clinton "owed" the Democratic nomination?

Look, I'm not bashing Hillary because I'm huge Hillary Clinton fan, but why do Republicans think she was "owed" the nomination when they weren't going to vote for her anyway?

People keep saying Obama got the nomination because of his skin, yet these same people will say "Obama isn't even black, he's half-white." Wow.

Clinton and Obama were neck and neck with the black vote up until the SC primaries, when Bill made those "controversial" remarks. And another thing, Obama got most of the white vote in Iowa. I guess you forget that huh? Those whites in Iowa must have dranked the kool-aid too then huh?

Think about it. There aren't enough blacks in the Democratic party to get Obama the nomination. If that were the case, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would have been nominated. You may not want to face it, but blacks DID NOT get Obama the nomination OR get him elected.

Will Conservatives start a new Civil war when Hillary Become's Americas first Female Potus...?

No. Most conservatives aren't that crazy and radicalized yet. We'll just see localized rebellions, like what occurred at Waco and Ruby Ridge.

Do you believe Hillary Clinton will campaign for the 2020 Democratic nomination for president?

Well, she said recently that she “really wanted to be president” and has generally been more visible recently. I take that to be a trial balloon. She wants to be president and she is looking at the reaction to her comments to see whether there’s any support for her. Whatever her flaws, she is clearly strong-willed and determined. However, if she is realistic and open to reality, she will see that there is essentially no chance that the Democrats will renominate her, whatever Republicans or Trotskyites may like to believe. The Democrats will not renominate her because she has proven herself to be a poor candidate. She lost to a candidate she should have destroyed. Neither party likes to renominate candidates who have won the nomination but lost the general election. The last time the Republicans did that was with Nixon in 1968, after he had lost in 1960. The last time the Democrats did that was in 1956, with Adlai Stevenson.A second reason why Democrats will not nominate her is that they will have many more candidates to choose from in 2020, none of whom will be as unpopular or start with all of the baggage of having been attacked on a major network for decades. In 2020, the Democratic field will be wide-open, and they will be able to choose the best candidate rather than the heir apparent. That is probably good news for them because that is when they do best.

Clinton supporters: With Hillary conceding the race, will you throw your support behind Barack Obama?

Well, for starters, she hasn't actually conceded defeat yet and it's not clear she will (http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/03/e...

I'm a big Clinton supporter. I like her positions on issues heads and shoulders above Obama's. In many ways, I feel like he ripped off most of her position ideas (she published hers first) and then tweaked them in a way that wasn't beneficial. So, I'm not someone who thinks the two are interchangeable, but ultimately if Obama is the Democratic nominee, I'll support him. My heart won't be in it fully, but I don't really see a choice.

Ultimately, Obama and Hillary are closer policy-wise than McCain and Hillary. Obama and Hillary have similar views on Iraq, health care, education, abortion, poverty and veterans' benefits. More importantly, John McCain does not have the same views as Hillary on most of these issues. He will not provide greater health care coverage, he won't come to an appropriate conclusion for our involvement in Iraq, he won't review No Child Left Behind and he will appoint extremely conservative judges to the Supreme Court.

Plus, I find McCain to be abrasive and inappropriate, too immature (even at his older age) to be President. In 1995, he got in a scuffle with then octogenarian and long-term Senator Strom Thurmond on the Senate floor (http://www.washingtonian.com/articles/pe... Now, sure, lots of people probably wanted to scuffle with Strom Thurmond at some point in their lives, but to actually do it when you're a Senator? That's not how a President should be acting in the 13 years before he's running for President (unless he's running right after he turns 35 so he was 22 when it happened, but that's not the case with McCain).

For all those reasons, I will suck it up and support Obama if he's the nominee.

Does anyone actually support Hillary Clinton for President? Seems like al Dems support Bernie. Yet Clinton is winning. Why?

There's a FEW LEGIT Hillary supporters which is why Hillary looks like she is winning the Democratic nomination , otherwise it would be Bernie , LOL ... but what part of POLITICS and POLITICIANS ( Dem and Rep ) are CORRUPT is it that YOU don't know about yet ... LOL , so no matter who wins, it doesn't matter Politicians are always winners... while People and Life will be the LOSERS and SCREWED ;) !
