How Many Kenyan Slaves Can An Arab Own Per Home In England

Why were blacks chosen to be slaves?

Blacks were not the only race chosen to be slaves. Many natural citizens of different countries were stolen from their homeland and brought to different countries to be used as cheap of free labor. The commonality here is that due to their color and culture these people were considered to beneath their captors, or their captors chose to believe that native Africans were ignorant and not able to care for themselves, or wouldn't care for themselves without being made to because they are lazy.
I would not say all blacks are against each other but in many cases it does seem that blacks at least here in America do not support each other. I believe that this can be attributed to when we were slaves there was a hierarchy to slaves with some slaves (most light skinned) being allowed to live in the house and serve the family directly, being valued more than their dark skinned brethren. I do believe that black people often today do not get along with each other, I think it is more important to focus on changing this than focusing on the negativity that exists between blacks. There a people that are perfectly happy with blacks focusing on their differences, and problems than blacks unifying.

19th Century Slavery?

How many countries owned slaves in the mid 19th century, preferably 1860s? How many owned African slaves, how many slaves did they own, and why does everyone make such a big deal about slavery in America? The response I get out of most people when I tell them I'm from the south, or have Confederate ancestry is usually unpleasant. The first words to come out of there idiot mouth is "racist", or "slave owner". Its extremely irritating, why does everyone make such a big deal over something that ended 150 years ago, and even in that time the American south didn't have that much slaves in the first place. Slavery has been around since the humans started recording history, most Americans believe that slavery started with the Africans and the Atlantic slave trade, and that slavery only happened in the 13 colonies and then later only in the South, and never anywhere else in the world. What do I tell people like this, and also I've researched my family tree and didn't find one slave owner, and in the South only the rich owned them, which was only about 9% of the population... When I talk to an average American about the civil war they automatically think the South is "evil, and racist", they only side with the North out of fear of being called racist. How do I teach idiots like this that the South wasn't evil and that slavery didn't start with the blacks in America?

Who were the real Ancient Egyptians, black, white or Arab?

For sure they were not Arabs!!You can even ask the current day Egyptians. Even they would not ascribe the ancient history of the place they now occupy to their Arab ancestors. The question is answered right on the walls of and numerous monuments and ubiquitous artefacts found in the well preserved great pyramids. The people who built the pyramids and other collosal land marks knew that one day their history and heritage will be “stolen” that was why they built such enduring monuments and used hieroglyphs and pictures depicting both everyday life and sacred rituals and rites even though they had alphabetical writing. The “original” Egyptians were black. But please note that Egypt at its height was much much larger than what you see today which was cut haphazardly by the Europeans when they carved up Africa amongst themselves. It stretched down south all the way into parts of east and central Africa, with tributes coming from all these places making it very rich.To really talk about Egypt you would need to be specific with regards to the time or period as Egypt changed hands since it was conquered by Alexander the great (after who the ancient city of Alexandria is named ). It was the greatest kingdom in the world and also the center of learning of technology, arts and science.People from all over the world came to learn in its sacred places which at some point was off limits for europeans until the “holy pharaoh” allowed them in freely and reduced egypts army as he hated war. There are many ancient accounts that detail the physical descriptions of the teachers and inhabitants of Thebes (wesat in ancient egyptian) and the were black. The longest river in Africa is the Nile with its delta situated in Egypt so its only natural that they lived and bred with other black kingdoms like Ethiopia and what European scholars call Nubian kindoms. Please do not get me wrong, at some point in its history there were many races living and trading in Egypt as it was also a commercial powerhouse. Its position between 2 continents and the natural connectivity provided by the great Nile meant that people and commerce was natural.its current inhabitants conquered it in AD 641 and continue to hold it. Today Africa has many races, black, white, Arab and many versions brought about by long term inter breeding like Berbers. This is not about racism or because I am black African, it is simply the TRUTH!!!

How were Africans captured for the slave trade?

(answer not intended to offend anyone in any way)Most of the time, this is how it went. The Europeans would load some newly manufactured goods onto a ship, then send the ship to Africa. When they arrived, they met the leader of a local tribe, who traded the goods for some prisoners of war. The prisoners would march up to hundreds of miles to the coast to the ship, stopping every once in a while at ‘slave forts’.While some chiefs didn’t agree, most were happy to get the extra money and the goods. Not to mention that some African tribes (Europe did this far more rarely) sometimes just raided villages and took whoever they pleased. After that, it’s your regular old long, deadly boat ride, followed by separation from your family, followed by your entire life spent working.Source: The Arrival of European Traders
